Diamond earring with white gold post recovered in Allendale, Michigan

  • from Manistee (Michigan, United States)
Contact:

Last year at this time we were called out to Allendale, MI to meet Karen G. who lost her diamond gold stick pin earring while cutting the grass on her lawn tractor. A branch hit her ear while she was going under a tree. Getting down on our hands a knees with my Gold 4″ coil. That coil was enough to give me a good signal. Step up one year:

We were called by Karen G. again to help her find her earring again while cutting grass and going under another tree in her yard. This time it took 3 trips out there to check a 20′ x 20′ area. It was found with an Equinox 800. Karen now has her ear rings insured.

See you next year. LOL

Lost White Gold Cartier Wedding Band at Four Seasons Ko Olina…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text on my phone that read, « I need a ring finder ». I immediately called and Shelbie from Midland Texas, on her honeymoon and staying at the Four Seasons Ko Olina told me her husband Trey lost his White Gold Wedding Band in about three feet of water while returning back from swimming. I told her not to worry that I was in Waikiki and would retrieve my gear and head out to the resort. I assured her if the ring was in the three feet depth of water I would surely find it. I sensed quite a bit of stress in her voice and I wanted her to remain calm. Rush hour traffic hadn’t started yet so the 28 mile trip only took 35 minutes. When I arrived I called Shelbie and she said her and Trey were down on the beach so I grabbed my gear and headed down. Trey showed me the area and was sure the depth would have been about three feet deep. Since it was two hours earlier the tide was on an incline so I decided to detect out to high chest depth to account for the rise. Rey and Shelbie sat on the shoreline as I hunted. On about the 4th leg of the grid I got a screaming « 16 » on the Nox in chest deep water and on the third scoop there was the Cartier Love Ring shimmering in the scoop. I yelled to Trey « Got it! » We met in the water and I allowed Trey to remove his ring from the scoop. He immediately thanked me and put the ring back on his finger. Shelbie and Trey were so grateful and I hope they now can relax and enjoy the Aloha of our Islands.

Ring Lost During Emerald Isle Vacation Found Before Metal Detector Purchase

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

I received a call from Josh’s wife and she seemed flustered that her husband’s very new ring was missing after a day at the beach.  I was told the ring was put away and during the transport of the beach equipment from the shores back to the vacation house the ring fell out.  Josh later mentioned to me he had already planned to purchase a metal detector to try is luck.  The path their wagon traveled was very well staked out and this was a huge help in finding Josh’s ring within seconds.  The small group that tried to find his ring was surprised how quickly the ring sank into the soft dry sand.  I was very happy to return Josh’s beautiful white gold wedding band and hope they can resume a joyful vacation at Emerald Isle, NC

When I spoke to Nicole she said she realized she lost her Archbishop Prendergast class ring and her Claddagh while on the beach the day before in Ocean City, NJ. She thought the rings may have missed her bag when she put them away. Since she went home the night before, she gave me gave me a marker on the beach to put me in the general location where she was sitting. I waited until some of the beachgoers left before I started my search. I heard a signal and out popped the Claddagh ring! Being in the right area, I figured the class ring was nearby. Well as it turns out, that ring wasn’t lost on the beach at all…it was found in the trunk of the car the next day! Great ending to a Saturday night!

How to find a diamond ring in the water in Delta, BC.

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Chris Turner- Ring Recovery Specialist…Lost your ring?… Metal Detecting Service/Call ASAP  Anytime   778-838-3463

I received a text message from a very upset young lady who said her beautiful diamond engagement ring fell into the river, not just a river but the Fraser River. I know the Fraser River and how harsh the currents are so I was not hopeful in being able to help her until they told me it was Lost in a side River by the Fraser River.

The next thing was it was lost between seven and 10 feet of water off of the dock,  I’m now looking for a diver and call one of my friends on the directory. After conversing a bit more with the people I asked if they can go back at low Tide and see if there’s any chance we can do this without a diver as I know the water levels fluctuate quite a bit. They went back and text message me that it was waist deep by the dock, this was great news I can do this search without bringing in a diver and wasting his time. They also told me the current was very very strong when they lost the ring over the dock. They felt that the ring must’ve gone down river and it was a hopeless cause.

Mike didn’t even want me to come out he thought he was wasting my time but his wife said she wanted me to come out and search, she also didn’t think I had a chance of finding it but I know and understand what closure means to people. I wasn’t quite sure what I was in for because I’ve never been called to do a ring search in the Fraser river. It was muddy we had to take a boat to a mile away from the location and walk in, it was a hot day and I love my job!

They show me the area where they placed the dock only weeks earlier fortunately where they put it was very very little trash which makes my job much easier, the other key factor was we were able to lift the buckets of cement and move the dock away from the search area this was a huge benefit and helped in locating her beautiful diamond ring. I am so honoured to be able to help continue the story of her ring and see both of their smiles…

The search took 30 minutes,  time spent getting there and back four hours. I love my office and to meet 4 wonderful people and help find their smiles makes the boat ride back so much nicer…

Lost Gold Cross and Necklace Found Avalon NJ by Ring Finders South Jersey

  • from North Wildwood (New Jersey, United States)

Late Friday evening I received a text from Sam asking if I could find a gold chain and cross in the sand that was lost the previous day in Avalon, NJ. She mentioned the cross was very sentimental because it was given to her mother by her father almost 30 years ago and then given to her. Sam took off the necklace because it got tangled in her hair and placed  it on the blanket. After forgetting she had taking it off, the cross and chain went flying across the beach when she shook out her blanket when leaving. I met Sam early Saturday morning to collect some details and started to search. After a thorough grid search of approximately fifty square feet, the necklace and cross were found!
