Lost 2 White Gold Rings Bridal Set w/ Diamonds in the Snow Found in Taylor Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

The Tip of the Iceberg……

Presented itself when a more than predicted snowfall drop Wednesday afternoon in southeast Michigan took everyone by surprise, especially newly married Jacob and his wife. While dodging sleet as they walked into the shopping mall Jacob tripped and fell onto the snow. As his wife helped him back on his feet, she dusted him off but after they got into the store, she noticed her ring was missing. They put on ice what they came for and rushed back outside to the snow-covered area of the fall. The sound of snowplow blades on the pavement had them frozen in fear but Jacob had ice in his veins and tried to find the ring by moving some snow around, but that cut no ice. Jake called his dad to take his wife home, and I asked Jacob on the phone if he could remain there and try to keep the plows at bay until I arrived. That seemed to work, as the area was unscraped when I started to search with my MXT metal detector. Scanning over the small piles of snow a familiar signal came thru and moving the veil of snow above the signal revealed what was really hiding beneath the tip of the iceberg…..the missing ring! Overwhelmed with excitement from getting beyond the surface of the lost ring, Jacob feels this is the beginning of a great year and many more for him and his wife, and that’s the icing on the cake!

While swimming with his father Jason suddenly realized his gold chain was no longer around his neck.  A frantic search ensued, beachgoers coming to the rescue with masks and snorkels and toes ‘a searching.  A local resident walking the beach saw the commotion and emphatically suggesting better “call Mark.”  Well the rest is history.  Found the chain with pendant in rough surf two days later and just before dark.   It’s only lost until you call!!! Prayers answered 🙏🏻🥰🎉

Lost — Gold Solitare Ring — New Smyrna Beach, FL — FOUND!!

  • from New Smyrna Beach (Florida, United States)

My wife and I were on our way home from an evening of admiring Christmas lights in a nearby town, the kind of quiet drive where the glow of decorations lingers in your eyes. Halfway home, she received a text. It was our neighbor, Sheri.  Her text sent a note of worry—her niece had lost a ring somewhere in the backyard.

Myrna told her we’d be back shortly and that I’d give them a call. By the time we pulled into our driveway, I was already shifting gears. I headed into the garage, grabbed my detector, and walked over to Sheri’s house. As I approached, her brother-in-law Bob spotted me and waved, letting me know they’d meet me out back.

In the backyard, I was introduced to Jadah, the young lady who’d lost the ring. She explained she’d been doing cartwheels when it slipped off her finger and vanished into the grass. I asked what the ring was made of, and she showed me its twin—the matching ring from the set. Perfect. I smiled, already hearing its signature in my head.

I powered up the Minelab Manticore and began sweeping the lawn. It didn’t take long. On the second or third pass, I stopped and said confidently, “I have it.”

Jadah dropped to the grass, searching eagerly, but couldn’t spot it. I switched to the pinpointer, moved it slowly through the blades, and there it was—the ring revealed at last. A beautiful piece, catching the light even in the dim evening.

Jadah’s face lit up. “You are magical!” she said.

And just like that, a lost ring was reunited with its very happy owner—another small Christmas miracle, right there in the backyard. ✨

Lost Gold Ring in the Snow Found in Washington Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

Decking his halls with ornaments bright

Steve lost his gold ring in the snow one night

I drove many miles arrived with bells on

Santa came early to search the lawn

Over cold ground like old prophesy

I presented a gift of gold like the Magi

Steve’s face lit up like a Christmas tree

Christmas had come early bringing untold glee

Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Warrington, PA!!!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Mike found me in the Ring Finders Directory after losing his wedding band Thanksgiving weekend. He was enjoying his holiday and playing football in the backyard of his in-laws house in Warrington, PA when his ring came up missing. After searching for hours and even purchasing a cheap metal detector at Harbor Freight he could not locate the lost ring. He reached out to me Saturday and I made arrangements to meet him the next day. He shared that the lost ring was made of tungsten so when I arrived at the house I brought along a matching tungsten ring so I could calibrate my metal detector and demonstrate the machine for Mike…I wanted him to have complete confidence that if I went over the ring…I wouldn’t miss it! The backyard was about 1/3 of an acre and he told me was playing football mostly toward right/middle…so as I always do I started my search in the most likely area. A ring on the surface has a very unique signature….so while I was getting quite a few signals I was hyper focused on  a very unique signal…It didn’t take long…5 minutes into the search…BOOM….there was the signal I was looking for. I looked down…and there was his beautiful ring! He had gone inside and was watching me with his family from inside a glass sliding door across patio…I triumphically held up the ring for all to see…and pretty sure I heard joyful screams from him and his family! He came out…lots of high fives…and amazement at the quick successful search! I was very happy to be able to come through and return his ring to him!!!

Noses are red, fingers were blue. Searching thru the snow but found not a clue.

The smile on Michele’s face melted the stress away. She gave me a doggy bag for saving the holiday.

Just Bring It!….

Exclaimed Mckenzie as she and a friend’s play fighting inside found itself outside on the front lawn. Things got more interesting as the skirmish turned into a wrestle fest landing Mckenzie pinned to the ground. Now with darkness upon them they called a timeout, brushed themselves off and went back into the house where Mckenzie noticed her earring missing. The next day I started a grid search and within a few minutes the earring stud revealed itself! A winning move, I feel like a champ! She said!… even tho I lost the smackdown, the only pinning I’m interested in now is pinning the earring back in my ear!

Lost White Gold Journey Pendant w/ Diamonds Found in Madison Heights Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

A Journey Under the Deck…

..was not what Kristina had planned for her journey pendant when it snapped off her chain as her dog jumped up on her. She looked around and found her cross pendant that was with it and thought her journey pendant wasn’t too far. The pendant was sentimental and a gift from her mom. The straight design of it has been a talisman through life in her past to help overcome any obstacle including where the pendant may be in the present time. I had just enough space under the deck to scan with my metal detector. I got a faint signal and was able to reach thru the leaves and debris. Feeling the shape of the pendant at my fingertips, I slowly drew my arm back from under the deck. Recovering the pendant brought tears to her eyes. Although the journey had an unexpected twist, staying hopeful was her mindset and served as a reminder that any future journeys may not be as straight as expected.
