I just wanted to thank you again for finding my ring. It made my wife and I so happy! Here is a little paragraph about Rachel and I and that day….
I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Rachel, for 11 years and we have been together for over 22 years. She is amazing and wonderful and I am truly happy to have her in my life. She is also always right lol. Everytime I play golf, she tells me to leave my wedding ring at home. Of course, I never listen and that is how I found myself in this predicament. Whenever I golf, I take my wedding ring off and put it in my wallet. The wallet then goes into my golf bag and I carry on. I have never had an issue until last Thursday. I was playing at Pennsauken Country Club with my cousin Dru and then, as my wife had repeatedly warned me about, I lost my wedding ring. I noticed that it was gone when I arrived next to the 17th green. I retraced my steps and realized it must have fallen out of my wallet on the 17th tee box when I paid for some beers from the beer cart. My heart dropped. I couldn’t believe this happened. I didn’t think there was any way I was going to get it back. After the round, I went back to the tee box and looked around frantically but had no luck. A couple of groups teeing off, stopped and tried to help me. One of the guys told me to reach out to metal detector groups and they might be able to help me. I never would have thought of that and I am so glad that he placed that suggestion into my head. Flash forward a few days later, and I Googled, « I lost my wedding ring on a golf course. » After a couple of clicks, I came across Dave. I reached out and I am so glad that I did. We went back to Pennsauken Country Club a week after I had lost it and after 20 or so minutes he found my wedding ring halfway in the ground right near the 17th tee box. I was overjoyed. I am still overjoyed. My wife is beyond happy and I cannot thank him enough! He is a lifesaver and I will never forget what he did for me.

While out on a 911 call (I am a paramedic), John left me a message about his lost wedding ring. When I had a few minutes, I gave John a callback. He said while he was playing golf at the Pennsauken Country Club, he had placed his wedding ring in his wallet. He secured his wallet in his golf bag. With the heat, the cart girl stopped, and he retrieved his wallet to buy some beers for his group at the 17th tee box. When he got to the 18th hole, he looked in his wallet, and the ring was gone.

His group went back to the 17th tee box but couldn’t find it. Another foursome also assisted in the search. No luck. One of the guys said you should call someone with a metal detector. John went home a googled lost ring. He found me on the Ring Finders site. We chatted about what happened. He had already called the golf course, and they gave him permission to have me search as long as I didn’t dig any holes. We set up a search date of Thursday evening.

We both arrived at about the same time. We went into the clubhouse to let them know we were there to search. We guaranteed them there would be no digging. They let us use a golf cart to get to the location he suspected it was lost. It looked freshly cut, and it was close to the ground. There were a few thick areas of grass. He showed me the area the refreshment cart was. I started there.

In the area, the cart was also 3 electrical boxes. That means underground wires. OH NO. I definitely found a lot of underground items. I worked my way toward the area where John’s cart was parked that day. After about 15 – 20 mins of searches, I got a solid tone and number in the area that a 14-karat white gold ring would be. I bent down and spread the grass to reveal what was there; in there was John’s ring.

John was dumbfounded. He thought he would never see it again. He was just going through the motions so he could be at peace knowing he did everything. He gave me at least a half a dozen bro hugs. He said he felt so high right now that he was afraid to drive home. So we called his wife from the spot the ring was found. She could believe it was found either. After the call, we dropped off the golf cart and went into the clubhouse to let them know we found it. The guy had a very surprised look on his face.

We then walked to the parking lot. He still didn’t feel safe to drive. So he called his cousin, that was golfing with him on that fateful day. He was amazed also. John still wasn’t ready to drive, so he gave me another hug and said he was going to go to his car and call his dad.

I love my hobby!!!

Stefania called me to help find her husband’s lost wedding band on the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ. They left the beach a few hours prior and realized it was missing. She explained that Chris put the ring in the chair and figured it must have fallen out when she packed up. I met the family on the beach in the general area and began the search. The ring didn’t turn up in the search area, so the only option was to look where a nearby couple was sitting. The couple was kind to move their belongings
and it wound up being under their chair! Stefania and Chris were excited to get the ring back and resume the remainder of their vacation in Wildwood Crest, NJ.

Vito was vacationing in Stone Harbor, NJ when he lost a ring that is very sentimental to him. He was referred to my FaceBook page Ring Finders South Jersey by several people after he posted that it was lost. I talked to him about it, and he wasn’t sure if the ring was lost in the ocean or up in the dry sand. That night I searched the dry sand, but the gold ring wasn’t there. I went out at the next low tide and searched from waist-deep water to the shoreline. The search area was quite broad and I had to expand the grid area a few times. Finally, the metal detector gave me a nice deep signal. I dug into the sand and pulled up the ring! It was buried about 9 inches under the sand. I met up with Vito to return the ring and he was thrilled to have his grandfather’s ring back.

Josh and Annie went to the Longport Dog Beach to spend some time outside with their dog. Josh took his wedding band off and put it in the beach bag so it wouldn’t get lost. Annie turned the bag over to shake out the sand before they left, not knowing the ring was inside. They made it all way home to Philadelphia before realizing the ring was lost. Josh emailed me to ask for help and I called him back to get more details. He sent me pictures of where they sat that day and I was able to go look for it. After I found it, I called the couple, who were just recently married in April, and made plans to return it. I met up with the newlyweds and the ring was back where it belongs!

Chelsea lost her engagement ring, wedding band and gold ring in the sand while in Margate, NJ. Before putting sunscreen on her child, she placed the rings on top of her cell phone. She forgot to put them back on and didn’t realize she didn’t have them until she got home. The wedding set was extra special because it was custom-made for her by her father’s friend who was a jeweler.

Her friend Katie reached out to me to help search and I was given the approximate location where the family sat. I had to circle out farther with the metal detector and eventually hit the targets. We were able to FaceTime with Chelsea to surprise her. She was elated they were found!

Kyle was tossing a football in the ocean when his wedding band got knocked off his finger. It flew in the water when the ball hit his hand. He and his family were on the beach in North Wildwood, NJ when Jackie called me with the details. I met up with them and searched the area, but the ring didn’t come up. The tide had gone out a bit since he lost it, so some beachgoers had moved closer to the water. The only spot left to check was an area where two people were sitting. They kindly moved their chairs and, lo and behold, the ring was buried in the sand below! It was an exciting end to the search in North Wildwood, NJ.

Lost ring avalon nj

Kaleigh realized she didn’t have her jewelry just as she was about to walk off the beach for the day. She spent the day with some friends relaxing on the beach in Avalon, NJ. Earlier, she put her jewelry in her chair but forgot they were in there before packing up her belongings. She immediately walked back to where she was sitting and saw the jewelry. It was all there except her Claddagh ring. The lost ring was sentimental because it was something she brought back from a trip to Ireland. We met up the next morning and had a general idea of the location. I started the search with the metal detector and the Claddagh ring was found! It was a great start to the day in Avalon, New Jersey!

Malynna and her friends stopped at The Point in Sommers Point, NJ while in town from LA. While at the beach bar, she felt her engagement ring slip off her finger and drop in the sand. She and her friends searched the area but couldn’t find it, so they called me to help. Time was of the essence because they were heading home to LA the next day. I met Malynna and her friends at the bar and came up with the plan. The search started by removing all the trash signals from the sand. I did this while trying to listen for the tone over the loud music. After I did an initial search, I went over the area again with the metal detector and was able to get the signal I was looking for. It was a relief felt by all to find the lost engagement ring. They were now able to return home to Los Angeles the next day on a happy note!

Nikki’s husband lost his wedding band shortly after he arrived at the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ. He started the day by sitting down to eat some lunch. She found Ring Finders South Jersey online and gave me a call. I met them and found out some more details.
