Lost Cartier Promise ring in Crescent Lake, Florida…Found by Mike McInroe, Florida Ring Finder.

I received a call from a young lady named Joy who had dropped her Cartier ring off of a dock and needed some special help. The water at the end of the dock was just over 7 feet deep and there was no way she nor her father could hold their breath and dive down and attempt to recover her ring. Thoughts raced through her mind that maybe a fish picked it up and swam off with it or maybe the current pushed it way under the dock or it sunk down into the silty lake bottom to stay hidden forever…forever lost! Later that evening Joy went online to search for « Underwater metal detecting service » and came across theringfinders.com website and decided to give me a call. She and her parents were checking out of the Airbnb the next morning by 11:00am so I made arrangements to meet her at 8:30am the following morning and I was hoping and praying I would be able to recover her lost ring before they had to leave.

The next morning I arrived and set up my Blu3 Nemo dive system and used a PVC pole to mark the spot where Joy said she saw the splash where her ring hit the water. The bottom of the lake was sandy and smooth but the visibility was only a foot or so and as I descended down the pole I immediately got a strong signal! It was a 2.5 pound weight used for weight lifting so I left it there and continued searching. I covered the whole area, digging up sinkers and screws and pieces of aluminum and bottle tops, a knife/pliers, etc. After 40 minutes I was beginning to wonder if maybe Joy was mistaken about exactly where her ring fell into the water! I decided to go back and recheck all the larger deeper targets and I began at the PVC pole with the 2.5 weight and as I lifted it up to put it into my pouch I received a quiet signal just to the side of where the weight was. I ran my fingers through the sand and felt something round and ring like…and there it was…just inches away from the PVC pole marker!! As I surfaced I held my hand up with her ring on my little finger and Joy’s face was in shock and she was stunned. She told me later that she was starting to give up hope and then I came out of the water with her precious lost ring! How I thank God for allowing me to find Joy’s lost ring and be a blessing to her in her time of need.

I received a frantic call from a young lady who works as a wedding organizer and as she was pulling up to the wedding venue she stopped her vehicle to get out and forgot that she had previously removed her diamond engagement ring and set it on her lap. It was a few minutes later that it dawned on her and she immediately went back to where she parked and began desperately looking for her ring. She looked inside her car and under the seat and then started searching the grass and gravel drive way. Having only been engaged for just 2 months…she could not believe that she had lost her precious ring already and could not imagine what her fiance would say! She spent the next 2 hours on her hands and knees running her fingers through the grass and over turning the rough gravel. Then the idea of a metal detector came to her. Looking online for a « Metal Detecting Service » she came across theringfinders.com and gave me a call. I assured her that I was available and could meet her within the hour and as I pulled into the wedding venue I could see this beautiful young lady with red knees and hands and a very worried look on her face. She explained what all happened and as we walked over to where she had parked and gotten out of her car…she was gesturing and pointing to where she had searched and how difficult it was, crawling around on the gravel and then her eye caught a slight glimmer of something silvery looking and she bent down and picked up her own lost diamond engagement ring! She was stunned and we both just looked at each other and smiled. What a relief and a joy it is to be available to help someone find what they thought was lost forever and to see the happiness and peace it brings them when they get their lost item back again. I thank God for giving me another opportunity to be a blessing to someone in need!

James called me and asked if I could help him find a very special ring that he had given to his very special lady friend! As sometimes happens in life, people get upset about something that is said or done and we tend to react and say or do things that we later regret. (I thing we all have been there…right?). Well, this very special ring was thrown out of a truck window while sitting at a stop light. James immediately realized the severity of his action and he pulled into the gas station parking lot and began searching for the ring. It was a yellow gold ring with small diamonds and a very small size and even though the grass had been recently cut they could not find the lost thrown ring. James even got his own metal detector from home and they used it to search for a couple of hours but only found pull tabs and small pieces of aluminum. Then he found my number on line and we made arrangements to meet later on that same day. After showing me the 50 square foot area that he was « almost 100% sure » that was where the ring landed…I got my metal detector out and started to carefully grid search the small area. Along most all roads and sidewalks there is the usual trash items and this area was littered with small pieces of aluminum from the numerous soda cans that were shredded by the lawn mowers over the years. I went slowly and investigated each signal that sounded even close to what a small gold ring would respond like. After 20 minutes of careful searching I decided to expand the search area and about 10 feet further up the sidewalk I got a smooth, solid, repeatable signal that proved to be exactly what I was looking for! James was in tears when I handed him his ring and the relief and happiness were evident by his big smile!

Cocoa Beach Florida Lost gold wedding ring found by Ring Finder Mike McInroe

Andy was visiting friends here in Cocoa Beach, Florida and after a day out fishing in the Atlantic Ocean they pulled their boat into the loading dock area and Andy decided he needed to rinse the fish smell off of his hands. So he laid down on the dock and while rinsing his hands in the warm salt water his gold wedding ring slipped off of his finger and disappeared into the depths below the dock! Of course he was shocked and immediately waded out into the water but soon realized the water was way too deep to even try and attempt a dive. Someone suggested calling a Ring Finder and they contacted Al Zenker, a local member of theringfinders.com but unfortunately he does not do deep water recoveries and he recommended they call me. I met Andy and his friends at the dock and checked the depth to be sure my Blu3 Nemo dive system would allow me to search the bottom effectively and it measured just over 10 and a half feet deep so I was good to go!

I suited up and set a PVC marker pole at the spot where Andy’s ring fell into the water. Visibility was just over a foot and as I descended to the bottom I immediately got a couple of signals. A rusty screw driver, a deep signal and then a sharp clear signal and my hand felt something round and smooth and I slipped it on my index finger. As I ascended to the surface I came out of the water finger first and watched Andy’s face. He was visibly in awe that I had actually found it and was so thankful and grateful to have his lost ring back once again!

Pete was needing to locate two of his property stakes and gave me a call. With the help of a kind neighbor who loaned him a blue print copy of their subdivision with measurements and possible corner markers, we set about using my metal detector to find his missing property stakes. It took some digging and measuring but an hour later we were successful. It is always a pleasure helping people in need and Pete was thrilled as ever to find what he was desperately looking for.

RJ and his friend were enjoying an evening of relaxing, watching TV and later in the evening he noticed his gold chain on the floor and his gold pendent had disappeared. This pendant is very special as it was gifted to him by his parents when he was 16 years old and he wears it ALL the time. They tried searching everywhere…inside and outside…for a couple of hours and that is when RJ went online to search for a metal detecting service for some professional help. It was a Sunday and Fathers Day to boot and we were just finishing up our lunch when he called. My dear wife and I made the drive and as we were driving up to the house we prayed that God would help us find RJ’s pendant and that we would be a blessing to him and his family. So after hearing RJ’s story I decided to search the outside grassy area first as the sky was getting dark and thunder was rumbling off in the distance. RJ had indicated a 30 foot area on the grass where they had spent some time and I set out my markers and cleared that area rather quickly and I then decided to expand another 30 feet radius and it didn’t take long and there laying in the gras, shining in the hot afternoon Florida sun was RJ’s lost gold pendant! RJ and his wife were ecstatic! We talked and visited for an hour or so and as we headed home we prayed again and thanked God for directing us and using us to help and bless RJ and his dear wife and kids!

Daniel and his friends were playing soccer at one of  Orlando’s local parks and in the heat of the game he fell and twisted his ankle.  And as it was very warm out and the humidity was high his hands were not only sweaty but now they were full of grass and sand!  Having been married for only 1 year he was in the habit of wearing it all the time and also had a habit of feeling it with his thumb and spinning it…and he said it was a bit loose as well.  He had no idea that it would come off so easy and when he stood up to hobble off to his car, he immediately realized that his ring was missing.  He and his friends tried searching through the thick grass and after well over an hour he gave up and headed home to take care of his swollen ankle.  Later that evening Daniel was searching on Google and typed « Metal Detector Rental »  and as he scrolled through the options he came across theringfinders.com and found my number.  We made arrangements to meet the next morning at the park.   It was a beautiful morning and as we walked to the field Daniel explained what happened and  was very precise about where he fell!    Within minutes I found his lost titanium wedding ring with my Deus 2 metal detector.  Daniel was overcome with emotion and as he smiled he said a sincere « Thank you Mike…you saved my marriage! »  What an absolute joy and honor it was to help Daniel and his young wife and to be a help and blessing to them!

Kissimmee Florida lost wedding/engagement ring Found by Ring Finder Mike McInroe

Angela had given her wedding/engagement ring to her husband to put in his pocket for safe keeping and while pacing back and forth in their yard while talking on his phone…somehow her precious ring just disappeared. Angela thought that maybe her ring dropped somewhere in the house and she looked everywhere and could not find it. Later they determined it very well could have come out of his pocket while walking in the yard. Determined to find her ring Angela purchased a metal detector and tried her best but it made way too much noise and proved unhelpful. Again she went online and searched for a metal detecting service and a story from theringfinders.com website came up and she found my number. We talked and I set a time later that day to meet and do a proper search. Their yard was not very big and the grass was quite short so I began searching the area along the side of the house and made my way to the back yard. Twenty minutes later I got another pull tab signal and I could just barely see Angela’s ring hiding in the grass! I called her over to see what I had just found and she was stunned and speechless….for about 5 seconds! And her beautiful smile is what I was hoping to see and the joy of being reunited with her engagement ring and wedding ring was a site I will not soon forget! I am so very grateful to be able to help people find their lost rings! Have you lost something recently and need a ring finders help?

Lost ring in car in Orlando, Florida….Found and returned to happy owner!

Got a call from Christine who asked if I could possible help her find her diamond engagement ring which fell in her car by the drivers seat and somehow just disappeared! Her husband tried looking for it with a flashlight and literally bruised and scraped up both hands while sticking his fingers into the small cracks and crevices trying his best to locate his dear wife’s lost ring. They even took it to the Mazda dealer and they removed the seat and searched for the ring as well but were unable to find her lost engagement ring. Christine was very distraught over the whole ordeal and went online to look for some help and stumbled onto theringfinders.com. She was fascinated that there actually existed a unique service of ring finding specialists who recover lost ring on land, in the water, in cars and most anyplace imaginable. She called me and I came the next day with my equipment and began my search. My main tool of choice for these types of searches is an endoscope that is ideal for looking in tiny, restricted areas. Under Christine’s car seat there was only one slit in the carpet where electrical wires go to control the seat adjustments. It took about 20 minutes and at one point I saw a penny that was in a small grooved area and further back behind the penny I saw a sparkling reflection that could only be Christine’s diamond ring. I then rigged up a thin cooper wire with a small hook on the end and carefully worked it along the cable of my endoscope and gently and very slowly pulled her ring out to where I could grab it with my fingers. I handed the ring to Christine’s husband and said, « How should we surprise Christine? ». Just then Christine came out of the house and asked how it was going. So I casually said, « Well I did find a penny…..and then I found this hiding behind the penny! ». Christine could not hold back the tears…only these were tears of JOY!!

Thanks Christine for calling me and allowing me to help you find your precious engagement ring!
