I was contacted by Jennifer after being tagged multiple times on a social media post. Jennifer explained that her husband had taken a surfing lesson on his birthday on Queen St beach in Cape May. During the lesson, his necklace broke and he lost his late daughters memoriam charms in the surf. I chatted back and forth with Jennifer and gathered some specific details. Took a ride over and checked at low tide this morning around 6:30am. After about an hour of searching the surf I was able to recover the charms and reunite them with Phil and Jennifer. Another happy couple!

I received a message from Ken the other day. He explained that his wife was sitting with their daughter just at the edge of the water on the beach in Wildwood Crest . The pair were chatting about his wife, Shelly’s, ring which she had just had repaired and had taken it off to show to her daughter. While doing so, a larger wave rushed in and startled the pair causing the ring to be flung behind them towards the upper beach as they were facing the water when it happened. The ring landed in the shallow water and disappeared. Shelly was devastated, and the family searched for hours trying to locate the ring. Luckily, Ken, Shelly’s husband, did an excellent job noting the approximate location and took note of the time as the tide was moving in. We discussed the event a bit and decided to wait until the tide was heading back out so the water would be at a reasonable depth. I met the couple on the beach at just about dark around 9pm and began searching. About 15 minutes later I heard the signal I was searching for, 1 scoop later the ring was back on Shelly’s finger. She was elated to say the least! The couple informed me that Ken had proposed to Shelly over 40 years prior just a few blocks down beach. Another relieved & happy couple!
Kens and Shelly’s review of service:
“Jeffrey came at dusk walked into the ocean and went to work finding my wife’s engagement ring. 10 min later he saved our vacation and I can’t thank him enough. Thank you!”

I was tagged by several folks in a post on Cape May Live. The poster was asking for people to keep an eye out for her husband’s gold ring that slipped off in the surf. I messaged the couple and we chatted back and forth about what exactly happened and where. She was able to outline the specific area and time of day that the loss occurred. Timing wise, I felt that the best chances would be during the low tide cycle the following morning. I took the 5 minute ride for home yesterday morning and began searching. After about 1 hour or so I got the signal I was searching for and out popped the ring from thigh deep surf. The couple confirmed the inscribed date and picked up the ring yesterday afternoon. They both thought the ring was “gone forever” after 27 years of marriage. Another happy couple!

I received a message from Genevieve Sunday afternoon explaining that she had lost her wedding ring in the sand while at the beach with her family. She had placed her ring in the cupholder of her beach chair to apply sunscreen. Later, her husband folded and relocated their belongings as the tide was moving. He had no idea that his wifes ring was in the chair when he folded the chair and once folded the ring disappeared into the sand. After the couple realized what had happened they began frantically searching for the ring. Other beach goers saw them searching and pitched in to search as well, even one of the lifeguards lent a hand! After a while, the group came up empty handed. Thats when Genevieve reached out for help. Usually I dont travel to Brigantine on Sundays as Northbound traffic can be horrendous but I could tell that Genevieve was upset and really needed some help. I took the ride up and met with the couple on 31st street beach. After a brief discussion I began searching the areas outlined by her husband. About 45 minutes later I had her ring in the scoop. Genevieve explained that the ring was so special as it contained diamonds from her grandmothers wedding ring and was very special to the couple! The entire beach was thrilled to see the ring! Another happy couple!

“Your service was wonderful: you were calm, professional and reassuring. Of course, you found my ring. So the service speaks for itself – but your customer service was really perfection !”

Lost TINY Diamond and Gold pendant found in Annapolis, Maryland!

  • from Baltimore (Maryland, United States)
Contact:

I was contacted today by Lauren who informed me that she lost a pendant from her necklace while in her barn preparing food for her livestock. She mentioned it was quite small and that it was most likely somewhere in the hay on the barn floor. She went on to say it was just lost that morning and that after searching for a while in the hay she realized that it was going to be near impossible to find it without professional help.

We made plans to meet in the afternoon. Upon arriving, Lauren took me down to the barn and led me to the specific area that she felt it should be.  Luckily the area was small and fairly undisturbed other than the searching that she did earlier. I immediately got to work and after getting a few false signals, I got a hit and…………….. …………BOOM! Can you see it in the picture?

I know Lauren told me it was small, but wow………………….this was by far the smallest recovery I’ve made in 20+ years!

Lauren ventured by up to the house prior, so I texted her to come back down to the barn. The joy and relief I saw on her face I will never forget. It was plain to see how much this tiny little cross meant to her! I’m happy to say it is back where it belongs!

Alton Illinois Tungsten Ring

  • from St. Louis (Missouri, United States)

I was contacted on July 12th, 2025 to look for a tungsten wedding band that was lost in the backyard while playing with the dog (the ring was lost for 2 days). The wife reached out to me after doing a Google search for lost ring recovery. The husband felt the ring leave his hand and had a specific location narrowed down where the ring might be located. I was in the backyard for less than an hour and returned the ring happily to the husband. All smiles 😃

TWO LOST GOLD RINGS in CHAPEL HILL, NC…….FOUND!!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Received a text from a fellow ring finder asking if I wanted to take a double ring recovery that he wasn’t available to go out on. Of course I said, “SURE!”

I was passed on that they were lost at a wedding venue.

He sent me his number, I texted him, he said he lost them after he put them in his pocket before playing football with some kids. Turned out he had a hole in his pocket and that’s how he lost them. We set up a time when I could be there. I also had to gain permission from the Venue. The Venue said I could come out, but I had to be off the property by noon because they have events scheduled from noon today all the way until Sunday.

I arrived at 10 am, took me about an hour, but I found them both about 7 inches apart!

When we met up, his first words were, “YOU GOT ME OUT OF THE DOGHOUSE!”

Received a call from Steph this evening after being recommended to her on a local FB group. Steph explained that her friend, Amber, lost her engagement ring while brushing sand off of her hands at Sunset Beach. She and her friends had been sifting thru the sand on their hands and knees for over an hour with no success. Took the ten minute ride over to Sunset Beach from home and met up with Amber, Steph, & the rest of their party. There was a palpable nervous tension but I tried to reassure the group that I would get the ring back. Started a tight grid pattern and recovered Ambers ring on the second pass in about 5 minutes. Tears of joy flowed! Another happy client! For more stories like this please be sure to like and follow my page!

Two weeks ago I received a call from Rich around 8pm while he was on his way home from Cape May. Rich explained that he was out enjoying a day on the bay when a squall came in that afternoon causing him to abruptly pack up and head for his car. In the process he dropped his gold chain and medallion which were given to him by his late parents. Rich expressed his concern and urgency to attempt to recover this item. When Rich called, I was out to dinner with family, but after gathering some location details I decided that I would try for his chain that same evening once we returned back home. One of the more difficult aspects of this recovery was the location. Rich had parked at the end of New England Road and walked about 1 & 1/2 miles along the bay to where he set up. Luckily he snapped a photo and I was able to find the area he was sitting based upon the drift wood in the photo Rich sent. After arriving to the area around 11pm that evening, the chain and medallion was recovered shortly there after. I kept Rich’s chain in safe keeping until he was able to come back down to pick up his chain. Rich asked for his photo to be excluded from the post, but see his review below. Another happy customer!
» I can’t thank Jeff enough for his diligence in going out the beach at 11pm on a stormy night to find my chain and medallion for me, forever grateful! “

Wedding Band Recovered in the Gulf

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

Jason asked if I could look for his wedding band that he was sure was lost forever. Gave it a 3% chance of finding but had me look anyway for closure. He estimated it was lost on a sandbar in the gulf about 50 feet off shore and within a 250 linear foot sandbar. I Started a grid and found it just about in the center of the area. Jason was attending to his baby back at the condo when I found it but the rest of his family and in-laws were watching my progress from the beach. Everyone was impressed with the recovery thinking that the search was a folly. Jason was extremely happy and I’m sure the rest of his vacation was regret free. Glad I could help!
