Call Anytime: ASAP – 24/7 for Time-Sensitive Searches on Beaches, Parks, and More!**

For lost jewelry, I work on a "Reward Basis"—meaning, you pay what it’s worth to you and what you can afford. Before I head out, we’ll agree on a fair reward…

**Call-out fee:** $85.00, whether or not we find your lost treasure… This covers my travel and time. If you’re farther away, we’ll discuss any potential extra fees based on your location.

For the general tri-state New York City area and beyond, there may be an additional travel fee.

Any fees / rewards will be discussed prior to me coming out to your location..

**Important note:** If you’re after buried gold, silver, or a cash stash, I work on a percentage or flat fee that we’ll negotiate before the search. Let’s chat and figure it out!

Search Types

Beaches, parks, lakes, and backyards...Underwater searches (up to 2.5 feet deep) Snow searches (yes, I brave the cold for rings too! Property searches for hidden cash, gold, and silver— let’s talk specifics before I head out to your location.

Search Locations

I cover the New York City boroughs and surrounding areas. If you’re outside that zone, give me a call anyway and we’ll see what we can work out. I love a good treasure hunt and would be thrilled to help you find your lost valuables!

Hi, I’m Reuben Marcus! I bought my first metal detector when I was 14, and now, as I close in on 60, the thrill hasn’t faded. There’s nothing like the joy of reuniting people with their lost treasures—it’s like being a part-time hero (without the cape)!

After 40 years in IT, I’ve retired and turned my attention to metal detecting full-time. Why? Because I love helping people recover what they thought was lost forever.
