Received a call from Robert this afternoon. Robert explained that he lost his wedding ring on Grant St beach while playing baseball with his family in Cape May. Robert was fairly certain as to where the ring may have fallen but wasnt 100% sure. Took the short ride over into town and met up with Robert and his family. Roberts ring was back on his finger about 5 minutes after arriving. Another happy family!

Two weeks ago I received a call from Rich around 8pm while he was on his way home from Cape May. Rich explained that he was out enjoying a day on the bay when a squall came in that afternoon causing him to abruptly pack up and head for his car. In the process he dropped his gold chain and medallion which were given to him by his late parents. Rich expressed his concern and urgency to attempt to recover this item. When Rich called, I was out to dinner with family, but after gathering some location details I decided that I would try for his chain that same evening once we returned back home. One of the more difficult aspects of this recovery was the location. Rich had parked at the end of New England Road and walked about 1 & 1/2 miles along the bay to where he set up. Luckily he snapped a photo and I was able to find the area he was sitting based upon the drift wood in the photo Rich sent. After arriving to the area around 11pm that evening, the chain and medallion was recovered shortly there after. I kept Rich’s chain in safe keeping until he was able to come back down to pick up his chain. Rich asked for his photo to be excluded from the post, but see his review below. Another happy customer!
» I can’t thank Jeff enough for his diligence in going out the beach at 11pm on a stormy night to find my chain and medallion for me, forever grateful! “

Received a referral from fellow recovery detectorist Matty StGermain. Spoke with Carmen, whom explained that she had briefly removed her rings, which were originally her mothers rings, to apply sunscreen while at the beach the yesterday on Perry St, here in Cape May. After applying the sunscreen she stood up not realizing that her rings were still on her lap causing them to drop snd disappear into the sand. Later in the day she realized what had happened and attempted to search with no success. I met up with Carmen and her husband and recovered both of her rings in about 5 minutes. Another happy couple!

Received a message from Victor last Sunday. He explained that he lost a rose gold ring while at the beach last Saturday. Victor had already returned back home to Philadelphia but he did mark his location with a “pin” from his cell phone. He wasnt sure if it was in the dry sand or water but he did believe it may have dropped where he was sitting. Took a ride over Monday morning and proceeded to the coordinates he provided. After a brief search I heard a faint signal and dug down about 1ft, out came Victors ring! After sharing the good news I shipped the ring back to him and he received it yesterday. Another happy client!!
Victors Review:
“I am still amazed by Jeff’s work and diligence in helping me recover my lost wedding band. When my ring went missing at the beach, I thought for sure that I’d never see it again. Jeff found my ring a full 24+ hours later buried at least A FOOT in sand. I’m relieved that there are caring people out there like Jeff. I’m forever grateful for his service and would recommend him a million times over.”

Received a message last evening from Ashley. Ashley explained that she dropped a ring in the sand while on Queen St beach today while applying sunscreen. This ring had some pretty significant sentimental value as it had been passed to her from her parents. Ashley had already returned home to Philadelphia before finding my contact information that was recommended to her in “Cape May Live”. We chatted a bit last evening and I headed out after getting off duty this morning, first thing. She was able to markup a screen shot of Queen St beach to help get me in the right general area. After about 20 minutes of searching i had Ashleys ring in the scoop. Her friend picked it up this afternoon and itll be back on Ashleys finger the weekend! Another happy ending! Thank you to the folks in Cape May Live for the recommendations!
Ashleys testimonial:
“I took off a small but sentimental ring to apply sunscreen and, as the story always goes, dropped it into the sand. I spent about an hour looking, and a small crew assembled to help sift the area, with no luck. I left the beach convinced that it was gone forever but posted to a Cape May page in case it was my lucky month. Jeff was recommended almost immediately. Around 8:30 pm we exchanged a few messages back and forth about where I was sitting, time of day, and what the ring looked like and he found it by 8:30am the next day. This man is incredible!”

Lost a ring? DONT WAIT! Call or text NOW! 609-780-4525 Last Tuesday evening I received a call from Brenda. Brenda explained that she was at Sunset Beach with family and friends, to watch the sunset. At some point she was tossing a ball around and her ring, which was a family heirloom passed down thru generations, slipped off her finger and disappeared into the sand. Brenda and her family frantically searched to no avail. I took the short ride over to Sunset beach from home. After wading thru a sea of parked vehicles and people I met up with Brenda and her husband. After a brief discussion and search I  managed to recover her ring in about 10 minutes using my state of the art equipment and skill!

Cartier Trinity Ring found with Metal Detector, Cape May NJ (Higbee Beach) recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

It was a beautiful day at the Jersey Shore, so why not take your dog to the beach??? After all, they love the water just as much as humans. And thats exactly what Lucy did that morning after she woke up. It was quite a few hours later that Lucy had a horrible mishap that you would wish on nobody !!!! She was throwing her dogs toy straight out into the water, when he beautiful Carter Trinity Rings flew off he finger.  At that point she went into panic mode as many do, and began franticly searching without any luck. After about an hour she reached out to me. After getting all the details we had to act quickly, as the tide was coming in fast, do to the full moon. Once I arrived, she showed me the spot she believed the rings flew off, and I quickly got to work. I went out deep to start, knowing it would be over my head shortly. Having no luck, I worked 50′ paths back in to about knee deep water. Knowing time was running out, I went back out to about waist deep water. The greenhead fly’s were really having their feast on my upper body, so patients were growing very short. Making short sweeps, from waist to knee deep water, to expand my  search area, to see if possibly they flew off to the side a bit. After about 25′ more feet to the south, BINGO !!!!! I got a fantastic hit, which I prayed was not a sinker or military debris, as this particular is littered with. After shaking out all the fine particles from my scoop, there, in the corner under a few shells, were Lucy’s rings. With a sigh of relief, I slowly walked out of the water, telling Lucy  I was getting eaten alive. She looked very disappointed, figuring I was giving up, I told her to take a look into my scoop. Its at that very moment that makes doing this so so rewarding ! The emotions really tell a story of their own.
