Gold necklace and Pendant recovered on 30A

  • from Miramar Beach (Florida, United States)

The Capone family (yes that family) were visiting Blue Mountain Beach on 30A when Joey lost his necklace and pendant in chest deep water. This was handed down from the Capone family and was very special to him. Needless to say he was devastated. Well…… then he called Lost Rings of Destin, FL through ringfinders and that all changed. I enlisted his help and gave him his own machine to assist. After almost an hour of searching we recovered it. Tears were shed and hugs were given. This was a great recovery and glad it went well for the family because I thought they might find a quiet place to bury me had I not. Hahaha! Big thanks to the Capones for hydrating me and the future care packages.

  1. Erica Contreras lost her ring July 13th on Crab Island in Destin, fl. She wasn’t sure if it was there or not, but after some questions I headed out to search. I was able to locate it from some pics and it took less than an hour to recover it. Had to ship it off to her after a quick cleaning and she just got it back. Prayers for her and her husband as I was just informed he had an accident. Hope he gets better fast and glad to reunite you with your ring! Lost Rings of Destin, FL and Ringfinders.

97-year-old heirloom 10kt Victorian darling baby ring recovered and returned! TRF Celina, OH

97-year-old heirloom 10 karat Victorian darling baby ring recovered and returned! A small ring makes a big hit for the day.
Tough little ring to locate at just 3 mm wide for the band and approximately a size 1.
Scott, Alicia, and their little family made the almost 4-hour drive back to Alicia’s hometown to visit family. While spending time with family at a local State Park, Alicia was presented with her grandmother’s 97-year-old Victorian Darling Infant Ring as a keepsake for her daughter Noelle, named after her Great-Grandmother. The 10kt. ring was placed on the baby’s finger and photos were taken. The ring was too large for Noelle’s tiny finger and fell off. Alicia and her older children hunted the grassy area where they thought the ring had fallen and weren’t able to locate the ring.
Alicia was in my wife’s Girl Scout Troop years ago and she has seen posts on my wife’s Facebook Page about my ring returns. A distraught Alicia contacted my wife to see if I was able to come out to the park and find the ring. I grabbed my Manticore, pin pointer, and other gear and we went to the State Park to see if I could locate the ring. Alicia was able to show me the roughly 20 x 20′ area where the ring had fallen. After swinging for about 45 minutes, I was able to find the tiny little treasure and hand it back to the very relieved mother!  Very small ring to locate at just 3 mm wide for the band and approximately a size 1.

Paladium and White Gold Wedding Ring found in Olathe KS

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Heather was on a family outing at the Olathe Lake Swim Beach and lost her wedding ring.  She was in about 5’ of water and as the ring slipped off, she saw it disappear into the murk.  This ring has a very deep sentimental value for Heather and Dave.  It also has considerable material value as it is a palladium band with 14K white gold bands on either side and a beautiful round diamond.

She and her husband made several unsuccessful attempts to find the ring.  They contacted me through Ring Finders and we met soon after at the beach in question.  We had a 2-hour time limit on our search as the facility wanted us to be finished by the time they opened.  We recovered several targets but did not locate the ring.

We decided to regroup on a day that the beach was closed so we wouldn’t run into a tight time limit.  Also, I changed tack to hunt underwater with my hookah dive rig, detector, pin-pointer, mask and weight belt.  So, Dave and I returned to the lake and after a few more fishing lures, pull tabs and bottle caps the Legend rang up a solid, shallow, repeatable 29.  There is very little visibility at 5’ but I had the target in hand as I rose to the surface.  This stunner emerged and I knew a happy ending would culminate with this ring going back to its grateful owner!!

Later that evening, when David returned the ring to his wife, Heather texted me and said she was « too emotional » to talk.  Tears of joy I suspect.

Lost your ring or any sentimental item… Don’t wait until it’s too late! Call ASAP 24/7  Chris-778-838-3463

I received an email asking about my service and how it worked, I quickly reply back to discuss the search and get the detail. Turns out this young man lost his wedding band at Pitt lake. This search would required the use of a paddle board to get drop zone. This will be my second time on a paddle board in less than a month. It also meant I had to cross Pitt Lake to access the area where he was swimming (About a 30 minute paddle)

I met the young couple and we started our journey to the location where the ring was lost, after arriving it took a little while to locate the exact location he had marked with a long stick but with the help of his wife who remembered a tree in the water by shore, that help get me in the correct location and shortly after I was able to locate the missing ring! I love my job! Such a lovely young couple, and only married a year and two days. Imagine how upsetting that was for both of them, but to see their smiles makes all the paddling to get there worth it!

This was  a tough one! She put her ring on a towel for safe keeping and forgot! Her husband used towel to wipe his face and left the beach. Unfortunately it did not fall off where they were sitting.
