I FIND JEWELRY”  call Stan the Metal Detector Man if you need  help ..  949-500-2136

*** Adriana had lost both her diamond gold wedding ring set. After three days of searching many different possible areas she had been, she called me for help.

We discussed the many places where she had been the day of the loss. The family had driven out of town to visit friends, she had made a trip to a local grocery store, she also walked across the lawn to a community mail box (150 yards.) and lastly she had done many chores inside the house. A lot of nooks and crannies for rings to hide. Adrianna and her husband, Jon desperately searched for days without success. She told me they had given up hope but wanted me to check the grass before completely letting go.

After hearing all the potential places the loss occurred, I could only suggest that with my equipment I could definitely eliminate the grassy area that she walked to pick up the mail and play area where she was with her children. There could be places to search after I get to the location.

We couldn’t meet up till the next day. Jon was there to meet me and Adriana would show up to give me person to person description of what she had done the day of the loss.

Jon showed me the path across the grass to mail box. This would keep me busy until Adriana got home. I did the whole grass area even though she probably walked a narrow pathway. After 15 minutes I got a surface signal and looking down I could see the diamond wedding ring. About 18” over there was the diamond engagement ring. I left them there.

When I walked up to the door Adriana stepped out to meet me. I asked her to show me where she had walked. As she was showing me, I said, I think you just stepped on something. When she looked down she saw the first ring. She was shocked and told me they had gone over that area a couple times, in the daylight and at night with a flashlight.

She let Jon know we had the rings and he met us outside to make a video recording of the recovery to share with his friends.

Another great recovery because it almost seemed impossible considering all the places she had been when she lost the rings.   I run out of words to explain how happy they were..

Lost Car Key… Found In Williamsburg, Iowa

Contact:

I got a call today to search for a single lost car key. It was lost several days ago in a snowy yard. The lady had rented a detector but couldn’t find it. So she found my number today and gave me a call.

Luckily I wasn’t busy so I got my equipment together and drove over. I can see why she had trouble with a rental, there were all kinds of junk targets and interference even after turning my sensitivity down. After awhile I did come across a nice shallow target that was her key. She was very happy to have it back.

Lost wedding ring in spokane valley Wa, Found !!!

  • from Spokane (Washington, United States)

I know that all of the Ring Finders that live where it snows have come back home wet, cold and with a dull feeling of not finding the lost ring they were tasked with finding. However, as I sat at my dinner table eating my reheated dinner, I got a text from a lady who was wanting to know if I could help her nanny find her lost wedding ring. Knowing all the questions I had to ask would clog up a text message, I called the lady. After chatting about the lost ring and how they used hot water to melt away the snow without sucsses, I told her after work the next day I would come by. Before getting off the phone I asked her how she found The Ring Finders, her answer brought a smile to my face. She said her friend saw her post on facebook asking for help, and told her she had a great experience using The Ring Finders in San Antonio when she lost her bracelet. Hats off too all of the Ring Finders in San Antonio doing what we do best, finding smiles. Today after a wet and soggy day cleaning up metling snow off of our hanger floor, I made my way to a house on top of a hill. The couple Laura the nanny and Felipe her husband, joined me in my car and we made our way to an off the beaten path photo shoot location. As we scoped out the area where the pictures where being taken, Laura pulled out her phone and showed me a short GIF of her shaking the snow off her hands. How convenient, the exact time and position where Laura lost her ring. All I had to do was walk two feet and start scanning around the left side of where she stood. Easy enough right? Wrong! The ring on her left hand flew down and to the right. The whole search took three minutes max, but amazingly enough the ring was under the snow and in the forest floor about two inches. These fast searches blow my mind, but let the truth be told you cannot find a lost ring when there is no ring to be found. Laura’s and Felipe’s rings were made in Columbia four mounths prior. It’s amazing to think that her ring traveled all that way to be lost in a forest in Washington state. The Ring Finders, finding smiles and saving rings.

Lost Wedding Ring – Pensacola, FL – FOUND!!!

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

So apparently Pine straw is out there trying to steal some rings so be careful. 😃. A few days ago I received a call from Bill. Actually backing up, Shelly, Bill’s wife had heard about me from a friend and messaged me through Facebook. After a quick reply, she had Bill call me. Bill described that he had been working in the yard putting out some pine straw when he looked down and saw that his ring was missing. Bill had been wearing that ring for the last 38 years so I was willing to bet that he noticed it was gone quicker than most people would have. When I told him how I could help he decided he wanted me to come try even though he wasn’t 100% sure that it was in the yard. I was pretty sure that I could find it and I was determined to try. What Bill didn’t realize is that when I saw the address I noticed that he lived in the neighborhood next to mine. If there is one thing I like even more than helping people find a ring, it’s helping a neighbor find their ring. When I got there, I switched to the pinpointer coil so that I could get down between the bushes and Bill went back inside to let me concentrate. He didn’t have to wait long and was beside himself when I knocked on his door and told him his ring was perched on my detector by the tree (Covid safe 😷👍). He was even more surprised when he went to talk about a reward and I explained that I literally could have cut through the neighborhood and walked there. I wouldn’t take anything from my neighbor and new friend. I’m so happy that I could help!  Merry Christmas to you both Bill and Shelly!  God bless!

Lost Alabama Class Ring – FOUND!!!

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

One night last week I got a call from a very nice gentleman that needed some help. He had been out putting in pine straw and when he got done he noticed that his class ring wasn’t on his hand. This was really bad because he’d had this ring on his finger since 1968 when he graduated from the University of Alabama. He immediately told his wife and she put out the call for help. Someone eventually told her about what I do and gave her my phone number. When Mr. Spivey called he asked if I was the Ringmaster, I was tempted to say yes but I didn’t want to jinx myself. 😃 He was very nice and explained what happened and I told him how I thought I could help. We agreed that I would come early the next morning and I asked him to text me the address. He explained that he didn’t have all of that techy stuff and offered to give me the address and directions. I told him the address would be great but he very thoroughly proceeded to give me the directions. I was thrilled to hear someone describe exactly how to get to their home and go over each part of the route that they felt was important to describe the way to their home. I thought about how technology had changed a lot of that but I thoroughly enjoyed hearing him describe that route he had been so many times. 👍 When I got to the house in the morning I was met in the driveway by a pretty Lab. I was pretty sure that she was friendly but I gave a quick call to the number I had. Mrs. Spivey assured me that “Penny” was a sweetheart and I opened my door to lots of tail wagging and some curious sniffs. By that time, Mrs Spivey had come out and walked me out to the back so I could see all of the fresh pine straw. They weren’t 100% sure that it was in the yard but it seemed like the most logical place so I started my search. Mrs Spivey went back inside and instructed me to knock if I needed anything. I was using a small sharpshooter coil so I was able to go through everything and stick it down between all of the shrubs as well. As Murphy’s law would state, I was at the very last bush when I got a beautiful, very obvious gold tone. I pulled back the leaves and parted the fresh pine straw to see a gorgeous, well loved, solid gold ring with a Crimson stone on top. I thought for just a second about how much it had been a part of Mr. and Mrs Spivey’s lives and then I went to knock on the door. She came out and asked if I needed anything and finally noticed the ring when I pointed to it on my detector. As you can imagine, she was thrilled and even got a bit choked up when she talked about getting it back to her husband. I am so glad I got to make sure that it wasn’t the end of the journey for your family heirloom. Merry Christmas to you both.

Metal Detecting a Ring Lost on the Outskirts of Calgary

  • from Cochrane (Alberta, Canada)

Mark contacted me. Found me on Kijiji but used « TheRingfinders.com »  to make sure I was on the up and up.  He was in the backyard with his dogs and when he went back in his ring was gone. His gut instinct was that it fell off when he was throwing the ball.  When I arrived, there was lots of evidence that he had been looking for it already. A big patch of snow had been cleared. His words were, « Before I rented a detector I thought I would give you a chance. » Good choice Mark. I have had several people rent a detector, only to tell me they had no clue what the sounds meant.  I searched the area  with no luck. Then we followed the path back to the back door. I had one tone, which we looked at and moments later another. I love it when I hear the ring’s actual tone in my headphones.  We grabbed the camera for the reveal. Awesome.  Less than a year married, and just back from his honeymoon, Mark is glad to have his ring back and is planning on resizing it.

Mobile Metal Detecting Service .. Call Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

**** On our Southern California beaches it’s popular to spend the evenings sitting on the sand at the fire pits. This call was from Patrick’s friend, who had found me on TheRingFinder website. They had spent a couple hours enjoying sitting around a fire at Newport Beach,CA. As they started to leave, Patrick picked up his towel and brushed sand off with his hand. He felt his ring slip off his finger into the sand.

After a half hour searching the small area, they were frustrated with their unsuccessful attempts to find the ring. It was getting cold and they had to be home soon. I was able to meet them on the beach which is less than three miles from my home.

It only took a few minutes after setting up my detector to find the ring. Patrick and his friend were happy to have the ring recovered and able to get on their way home. I love these quick recoveries. From the time I left the house till I got home was less than an hour. That includes taking photos for the book of smiles. All ring calls are not this easy. This year I had one ring search in the Mojave desert 135 miles away and it was 104 degrees. Then I had another 100 mile drive with a 3 hour hike to a hot springs for a ring lost in the water. Both of these searches were unsuccessful. We don’t get all of them. I still can’t wait till the next call out. They are always a new adventure and so rewarding to make another smile.

“I FIND JEWELRY”  call Stan the Metal Detector Man if you need  help ..  949-500-2136

*** Whiley was walking through a neighborhood park on a sidewalk. Both sides of the sidewalk had thick waist high landscapes bushes.  He made a jester with his left hand and his gold wedding ring went flying off his finger into the bushes.

Whiley called me the next day and I met him the shortly after he called. When we got to the location, he couldn’t give me the exact location. He did narrow it down to a 20ft. length along the sidewalk. He also said,  he didn’t hear it hit the cement.

Leaving me at the location he went off to an appointment saying he would check with me after he took care of his previous obligation.

I had several metal detectors with me because it was such a crazy environment. First covered under and on the surface of bushes with the 11 inch coil. Then all the places I could search with the smaller 6 inch coil.. No success, so I went with the Garrett Carrot pinpointer on a extension pole.

BOOM!! I was poking the pinpointer halfway into the 4ft. high bushes. I heard a signal about 18 inches into the thick bush. When I investigated where the signal came from, I could see the gold ring lying on a thick nest of branches and dead leaves.

I took a photo of the ring , texting it to Whiley. He and his wife met me a half hour later, overjoyed and amazed that it was found in that impenetrable maze of bushes. As many of searches as I have done, this was also surprised at where the ring was hiding. Almost all searches are unique, We never know  “ What, When, Where or IF “  the item can be located.

Platinum Wedding Band Lost at a Local Beach in San Clemente, CA. .. Found and Returned

“I FIND JEWELRY”  call Stan the Metal Detector Man if you need  help ..  949-500-2136

****Erick and his family live near San Clemente. They regularly come the this same small beach and everybody knows each other. The week before his friend lost a platinum out in the ocean while surfing.

Erick normally doesn’t take his ring off but this day he decided he didn’t want to lose it in the water. He took his platinum wedding ring off wrapping it in a towel that he place on a large rock. When he returned from the water his ring was not in the towel. He was baffled because he had not moved the towel before checking for his ring.

He was able to call me for help finding his ring with my metal detector. We met in the parking lot. Then he told me he believed it may have been stolen. He wanted to make sure it hadn’t been dropped in the sand. We walked to the large boulder were he put his belongings.

I was afraid that the ring might have fallen into many inaccessible spaces between the breakwater size rocks. This time we were lucky. The ring was under the sand right next the place were the towel had been. We figured that someone may have moved the towel while Erick was surfing. Sometimes we never know what caused the loss. The most important thing is we found and returned the sentimental wedding ring. Erick was elated and very happy that it wasn’t lost forever.
