RRing Lost on Redington Shores Beach, SRARC recovers it.

Paul was in waist deep water swimming on Redington Shores Beach.  When he was home later he discovered his wedding ring had come off.  Paul found our SRARC Ringfinders website and contacted Howard Metts.  A hunt was scheduled and a team of SRARC  Ringfinders consisting of Joe Montione, Mike Shuler, Dimitur Alipiev, and Howard Metts were at the beach six days later.  Mike Shuler immediately found a a 2019 High School ring.  Forty minutes latter Mike came up with Paul’s wedding ring.  Paul was joined our team minutes after and was overjoyed to see his wedding ring again.  Mike will also return the high school ring after contacting the school.  Great job team!

Hi all ,

I got a call from the concierges office at a 5 star hotel. I was told that a guest lost a  ring . I proceeded to the hotel and meet the guest on the beach. He explained that he gave his son in law his ring to hold onto . The son in law then forgot that he had it . They were not sure if it was in the sand or water.   I searched for two days and found it on the second day. I will be shipping it back to them in New York.

Ruby Stud Earring and Diamond Stud Earring Both recovered and returned

  • from Las Vegas (Nevada, United States)
Contact:

Received an email from a student who had lost 1 ruby stud earring and 1 diamond stud earring on campus while sitting at a picnic table. The wind came up and these two earrings fell through the holes in the table. These earrings were from her mother and had a lot of sentimental value. I asked her to send me a photo next to a coin so I could see the size of them. She did have the matching earrings. The Ruby earring was 14K but as you can see very small. The Diamond stud was bigger in white gold. Both these earrings were in the grass.

I asked her to put each earring in a separate ziplock bag which I provided. I brought my XP Deus with the HF elliptical coil. Since the earrings were small, I decided to hunt in goldfield program with the IAR at 5 so I would not hear Iron. I put both bags in the grass. I used the Grab Ground Balance, I bumped the kHz as high as I could. Received readings from both earrings. At the Lower kHz I got nothing. I also checked my XP Pinpointer with sensitivity bumped to 50 to see if the small ruby earring would even register.

In a few swings I got the diamond stud. Knowing that the ruby had to be close I found that shortly. I didn’t use the pinpointed but did verify that it would detect them. I had to be very close to them to register.

Another successful recovery. These earrings would not even register on the CTX 3030.

Lost Tiffany 18K Gold Band Recovered in Dundalk, Maryland!

On May 7th, 2019  I received a call from Vi stating that she lost her ring in a back yard area directly behind her home. She stated she searched for it for hours in the grass/vegetation with no success and even borrowed a friend’s metal detector, but never using a detector before, all she said she heard was a bunch of noise! We immediately made plans to search for it the next afternoon.

Upon my arrival, Vi took me to the area she believed it was in. I could see she did a LOT of searching as the grass/vegetation was very disturbed. I immediately began to search and within 15 minutes…..

Vi could not believe it! She said, « I looked in that area for hours! » The ring is now back where it belongs. Vi kindly asked not to be pictured on my blog, but agreed to the picture of the ring in and on hand and of course I obliged.

If you ever find yourself in need of my service, don’t hesitate to contact me. The quicker you call me out, the better the odds of recovery. As far as doing it yourself and renting/buying a metal detector, keep this in mind. Anyone can buy an airplane if they can afford it, it does not mean they know how to fly it!

Lost Mixed Gold And Silver Ring Found In The Grass with Dowsing Rod In Detroit Michigan

Happy Mother’s Day!

About 3 weeks ago I went to search a large field with this nice lady who’s ring came off her friends finger while doing some aerial drone photography. The ring was designed and constructed in Morocco when her and husband were on honeymoon. It has layers of exotic wood from the area sandwiched between a mix of gold/silver! The search area was quite large and we walked the area where they thought they were, we even looked at the drone video where she was but nothing came up. They had to leave and it was getting near dark so I told them that I would come back and take another look. Before I left I took some reads with my dowsing rod and made notes of my locations and landmarks. I picked up on a attraction and noted it was not the area they had filmed. I was in the area for work a week ago and went back to the site only to find the area flooded from heavy rains in the Detroit area. Not wanting to give up on what I want in life, I searched again today with the dowsing rod and got the same general area but was able to triangulate from another direction and intersect the area of attraction. I started to think that it was possible the ring came off either before they filmed or after as they had passed thru here going in and exiting. The grass was even deeper prob 5″ so I fired up my MXT and started to grid search the area of interest from dowsing. I was getting so much junk signals that I turned up the discrimination right up to nickel, knowing the ring was 50% gold 50% silver I would still pick up the ring. I also took a read from my silver and gold coin combined and got a 36-40 read on the MXT so I was watching for that on the meter. Searching for abt a half hour I found a quarter which was totally out of place and a good clue I was in the right area and thought that it prob came out of one of their pockets and perhaps where the ring came off as well. Then I thought well maybe the coin was what the dowsing rod picked up on even tho I was focused on the ring and what I knew about it. A few more swings with the MXT and a very weak signal and 40 read came up and swinging from opposite direct a 36 came up and 3″ depth. Probing with the pinpointer I felt it hit a chunky piece of metal and spreading the grass open revealed this beautiful ring, tipped sideways, and the most unique one I have found so far! Check out the detail on this specimen…quite stunning! I poked a small branch in the ground where I found the ring and it was only a few feet off from where the dowse lock line indicated. I texted her a pic and said happy mothers day and after a few minutes I got about 20 texts of excitement! She couldn’t meet today but we have plans to meet over the next 2 days so I can return her one of a kind ring and a make a nice memory on a very special mother’s day!

Bailey, a newlywed from Columbus Ohio, was enjoying the sun on Madeira Beach, in Florida. She took off her ring to put on sunscreen. She placed it in the chair’s cup holder where it remained. Upon leaving, the chair was folded up and the ring fell out. Looking up detector rentals online, she came across the website for SRARC. Joe was called and met her on the beach shortly after the loss. Within 10 minutes, the ring was found. A happy ending to a Florida vacation.

Lido Key Beach Lost Ring Recovered By SRARC

Samantha and Peter went to Lido Key beach to enjoy the sunset and some evening fun after work. There were a lot of big swells so they decided to go play in the wat. As the bounced up and down with each new swell, Peter felt his wedding ring slipping from his finger. He looked down just in time to see it glide to the bottom and disappear in the sand. They stayed and looked until it was to dark to see but had no luck. Later that evening Samantha found SRARC on the Ring Finders site and contacted us. She also returned the next day to search with snorkel gear but still could not find the ring. Her last hope was SRARC, After setting up a time to meet Mike Miller and Paul Hill showed up and Peter took them to the location. After hunting for about 15 minutes Paul indicated he had the ring. We both walked in toward the shore and we could see a big smile form on Peters face. When we reach him, Paull held out his scoop and Peter searched for his ring. He pulled it out of the scoop and declared “This is not my ring”. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Paul Hill just scored an 18 K gold ring. So, back to work we went. After another 15 minutes we began to expand the search and shortly thereafter Paul claimed he had really found it this time. As we walked back to shore again, Peter was not sure what to expect. This time when he looked in the scoop he shouted “that’s my ring thank you, oh thank you”. Peter and Samantha have only been since December, so they were both overjoyed to have the ring back on Peter’s finger and we at SRARC were overjoyed to have been able to recover it for them.
