Lost Earring at Soccer Complex in Marlton NJ, Found by Dave Milsted

Jeff found my website while searching for lost earrings. He gave my number to Katie, who called me. She was refereeing a lacrosse game and at one point swatted at her ear. She felt her earring hit her back and disappear. Katie & several friends spent a couple of hours searching on their hands & knees with flashlights.
I went right to the fields when we hung up. Katie & her mom were out there again looking. I told them not to get their hopes up because stud earrings are one of the hardest things to find, as they have minimal metal on them. I told them I would give it my best shot. She showed me the area she believed she was in & I started a grid pattern.
I had her remove her other earring and did a test scan. I knew the tone & number to look for. I was receiving a lot of signals, but not within the desired range. After about 10 minutes, I got a number in the range, I bent down to look, and so did Katie’s mom. I think we both saw it at the same time. Katie’s mom said “Oh my God” like 10 times. “I can’t believe he found it.” Katie was shocked!
We took a few pictures. I learned that Katie is a newlywed. The earring was pushed into the dirt under the thick grass, so it was probably stepped on. I told her to take it to a jeweler to ensure the large stone is still securely set. They said they are going to tell everyone they know about my service.

Lost Wedding Ring Monroe Soccer Field NJ… Found!!

💍 Wedding Ring Recovered in Monroe, NJ! 💍 – Thank you to both John Favano & Ed Trapper for sending this one my way!!
At his child’s soccer practice in Monroe, a man was coaching from the center of the field while playing with his wedding ring—which was a little loose. At some point, the ring slipped off and disappeared into the grass.
Parents, kids, and even a metal detector were brought in to help, but after an extensive search, the ring remained lost.
That’s when Greenwood Detecting was called in. We arrived just as the sun was setting and quickly gridded the field to make the most of the remaining daylight. After about 20 minutes, the detector gave off a perfect signal—and sure enough, the missing wedding ring was back in hand.
💡 Pro Tip: Be careful with rings that don’t fit well—they can easily slip off and get lost. If you can, get your ring resized. Remember: if it’s loose in the summer, it will be even looser in the winter.

💍 Sentimental Ring Recovered at Ideal Beach 💍 – Shout out to Ed Trapper for the lead!!
A young man was enjoying a game of football with friends at Ideal Beach in NJ when he slipped his ring into his pocket while playing quarterback. Later, when he went to put it back on, it was gone.
By the time Greenwood Detecting arrived, the beach was completely dark. With flashlights in hand, we began the search. After careful hunting, we recovered the missing ring—one with incredible sentimental value.
This was no ordinary ring. It had been smelted from the gold of his late grandfather’s jewelry and crafted into two rings—one for him and one for his brother. Being able to return such a meaningful piece was an honor and a reminder of why we do what we do.

Rachel displays her beloved platinum wedding ring recovered by Ringfinder Bill Leasure

NORTHERN N.J. — Rachel was working hard to get her backyard ready for Summer when she noticed her platinum wedding ring was missing from her hand. After a thorough search of her yard, she reached out to NJ Ringfinder Bill Leasure to assist with the search.

Ring Lost for Seven Months Found in NJ

Bill returns Kim’s husband’s ring in Hampton, New Jersey after it was lost over seven months ago.

HAMPTON, N.J. — Ring Finder Bill Leasure recovered a wedding ring today in New Jersey for a family after it had been lost along a roadway nearly seven months ago.

Kim’s husband lost his tungsten wedding ring nearly seven months ago and as the months passed, the prospects became bleak on ever finding the ring.

Bill responded to a call from Kim and came out early today to conduct a search. Covering an area of about three acres, the search took about three hours. As the search waned near an end, a signal of tungsten rang out in Bill’s detector. As he uncovered a few inches of soil, there lie the ring that had been missing for over half the year.

A tungsten ring lost by a family in New Jersey is uncovered after spending the last seven months lost in the elements. The ring was returned to its owner by Ringfinder Bill Leasure.

Kim was ecstatic to receive the ring back as a priceless family heirloom was returned again to her husband’s finger.

WHIPPANY, N.J. — During yesterday’s snowstorm in NJ, a couple contacted me late in the evening after they lost their keys in the snow. Early this morning, I headed out to the field where they last saw them and began gridding out the field.  Despite the snow and wind, 45 minutes into the search, the keys were located.  Happy to deliver this service to my neighbors and ecstatic that I was able to get this couple back on their way.

Wedding Set snow recovery at the Jerey Shore

Got a call from Andrew asking for my help finding his wife’s wedding set she lost in the snow playing with her child. Told him I would be there the next morning and was met by his wife Kelly. She showed me where she felt them come off her finger as she brushed the snow off. There were multiple targets in the ground so I had to check them all but after a few minutes I found the first ring and knew the second wasn’t that far away, a couple of swings of the detector later out came the second. It’s always a great feeling seeing the smile that comes with the recovery, reuniting someone with their lost item. Was glad I could help.

Ring Finder .. Thanks Dennis Burlingame

I frantically called Dennis today to see if he would be able to help me find my wedding ring at Pt Pleasant Beach. It had come off my finger as I applied sunscreen on my daughter. He was at the beach within the hour and located my ring within 2 mins of beginning his search. Calling Dennis was the best thing I could have done because there was no way it would have been located without him. Thank you so much for finding my ring today Dennis. Wedding Band recovered in Brick NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call last night from Helen asking if I could help in locating her husband’s Larry’s wedding band. Told her I’d be happy to and made arrangements to meet them the next day. Turns out that Helen and Larry were having an argument in during that Larry gave his ring back to Helen and in the heat of the moment she threw it off the back deck. Regretting it they tried to find it but had no luck. In doing so they threw things off the deck to get an idea where it might be. Helen said to me it was further back in the yard and I started there but no results. The second area was closer to the deck and within about 15 feet of it I found his ring. She must of thrown it more down then out. They were so glad to get his ring back and promised no more arrangements. A great happy ending.

Family Heirloom Engagement Ring Recovered in Spring Lake NJ by Dennis Burlingame

I got a text from Tim after he found me doing a Google search asking if I could help in locating his wife’s engagement ring. They weren’t sure if it was lost in their yard or the house but after searching the house they thought it had to be in the back yard. I was off work the next day so we made arrangements to meet in the morning. Tim’s wife was filling up a bird feeder in the back yard when she felt her wedding band slide off her hand. She found it at her feet but a family heirloom engagement ring was missing. They walked around the yard but couldn’t find it. She showed me the path she walked after filling the feeder to where it was hung, then she remembered she stood on the back porch and threw some dog treats to her dog in the yard. I figured that when the ring might of came off. I started a grid of the yard and on the 5th pass right about where the treats would of landed I found her ring shinning in the sun between the blades of grass. ( they didn’t want their picture published and sorry bout the blade of grass in the picture )
She was so happy to get her precious ring back where it belonged. The big smile and hug said it all and made it worth while. Glad I could help.
