Lost Ring Clark, NJ… Found!!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)
Another day, another treasure returned to its owner. ❤️
We recently received a call from Erin, who had lost one of her gold rings during a family gathering in Clark, NJ.
She had spent the day enjoying time with family, playing on the bocce ball court, hanging with the kids, and making memories. At one point during the day, she bent down to pick up a toy the child she was carrying had dropped. Somewhere in the mix, her ring fell off.
She searched everywhere she could think of, but despite everyone’s best efforts, the ring had seemingly vanished.
Since we couldn’t make it out that same day, we jumped on a video call and walked through the property together. 📱 Erin showed us the areas she had been throughout the day and helped narrow down the most likely search location.
When we arrived, it was time to get to work. 🔎
After about 30 minutes, we got the signal we were hoping for. Gold! ✨💍
Even better, Erin’s memory of where everything happened was right on the money. The ring was exactly where she thought it would be.
Recoveries like this are why we love what we do. Every search is a new adventure, every signal is a little mystery, and every successful recovery feels like finding buried treasure. 🏴‍☠️✨ There is nothing better than handing a priceless keepsake back to its owner and seeing the smile that follows.
If you’ve lost a ring, jewelry, keys, or another valuable item, don’t lose hope. Sometimes your treasure is only one good signal away.

Lost Ring Glen Ridge, NJ… Found!!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)
Sometimes, it’s not the big spaces that hide a ring… it’s the small, leafy ones right in front of you. 🌿💍
We were recently called out to a front yard where a ring had gone missing during a simple household task. While cleaning lint off a pillowcase outside, a quick brush of the hand sent the ring flying, landing straight into a patch of dense green vegetation.
The homeowner did everything right. She carefully combed through the leaves, checked the area multiple times, and even went the extra mile by borrowing a metal detector from the local library. Despite all that effort, the ring just wouldn’t reveal itself. 😬
That’s when Greenwood Detecting stepped in.
After assessing the area, we began a focused search, working slowly through the vegetation and isolating signals. Within about 20 minutes… we hit the right tone. 🎯
A quick recovery later, and the ring was back where it belongs… right on her finger and accompanied by a very relieved smile 😊💍
Another reminder that even the smallest patches of greenery can hide big treasures 🌿✨

Lost Ring Ideal Beach NJ… Found!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)
💍 Sentimental Ring Recovered at Ideal Beach 💍 – Shout out to Ed Trapper for the lead!!
A young man was enjoying a game of football with friends at Ideal Beach in NJ when he slipped his ring into his pocket while playing quarterback. Later, when he went to put it back on, it was gone.
By the time Greenwood Detecting arrived, the beach was completely dark. With flashlights in hand, we began the search. After careful hunting, we recovered the missing ring—one with incredible sentimental value.
This was no ordinary ring. It had been smelted from the gold of his late grandfather’s jewelry and crafted into two rings—one for him and one for his brother. Being able to return such a meaningful piece was an honor and a reminder of why we do what we do.
🔦 Pro Tip: If you are hunting in the dark, always bring flashlights! They’re essential for seeing the search area clearly and for keeping safe by avoiding objects that could trip you up.
Another successful recovery, even in the dark. 🌙✨

Beautiful, Sentimental Gold Charms Lost, Recovered and Returned in Swedesboro, NJ!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Got a late night text from Renee after she found me in the Ring Finder Directory. After a few days of frantic searching and the purchase and attempted use of a cheap metal detector she decided to reach out to a professional! In our text conversation she shared with me that she was out berry-picking at her home in the Swedesboro, NJ area when her hand got caught in her beautiful gold, charm-laden necklace and the chain broke spilling all the charms over a grassy area. She was able to find the chain and 2-3 of the charms but couldn’t locate 2 of them. She told me that she acquired the charms in France many years ago….and they were extremely important to her. I agreed to meet her the following afternoon. Upon arrival to her home I first asked to see the similar charms she was able to recover….I scanned them with my detector to firstly make sure my machine could pick them up and secondly to calibrate my machine to pick up just them when scanning the area. She made it easy for me by marking the area where the chain broke and she found several of the charms. I was about 3 minutes into the search when my machine let out a sweet low tone that suggested gold! With Renee at my shoulder I bent down and pushed some grass out of the way….there they were! The immediate relief and joy showing on Renee’s face makes it all worth it! I was very happy to be able to reunite Renee with her very important and sentimental charms!
