Lost woman’s rings found in Burleson, TX.

  • from Fort Worth (Texas, United States)

Received a call from John he said his fiancé had thrown her rings in the backyard field and he wanted to recover them before he made an insurance claim. I agreed to meet him on January 31, 2025 and search for the lost rings. I arrived as scheduled and started my search of the large field. I started to my right side and my first pass was about 75’ long  then moved over and searched back 75’. I continued for about an hour and had made about 5 passes 75’ deep by about 50’ wide. At about 1 hour and 10 minutes I found a small gold ring and figured the other one should be close by. About 5 minutes later I found the ring he was looking for. John was glad and  I was happy I was able to locate your ring. Thank you for the reward John!!!

I received a call from Dani. His wife lost two rings while hiking.  The fresh snow swallowed them up and he couldn’t find them before their flight left for Spain. Eric called a few local marine divers and was kindly pointed to my services. He had just returned to Seattle after a commercial fishing run in Alaska. After processing through the Ballard Locks and being guided by a tug boat through Salmon Bay it was time to tie off at their shipyard seawall dock.

Eric, up in the bow and had just thrown the port side mooring line through the hawse pipe from the bow chock. He told me as the mooring line was paying out at a good pace he put his hand down to slow it and it pulled his wedding ring straight of his finger. He watched his chunky gold diamond wedding ring fly through the hawse pipe and landing with a splash in the water below. A quick curse word with nothing much more to do his focus was back on completing the priority docking process at hand. It was confirmed when his ring dropped into the water there was zero propulsion from his vessel. They were being pushed by a tug boat from the aft stern. He also reported the vessel was at rest and not moving. This was very encouraging information for the recovery process. He also reported they were up against the sturdy seawall dock also a solid reference point. Moments after the ring drop incident it was decided to move the vessel forward to the next dock cleat another twenty plus feet.

I shared my thoughts, encouragements and concerns with over a decade of lost item recovery and over five hundred dives having a great deal of experience diving Lake Union for lost items my biggest concern was for how much trash and junk metal I would find in the waters of a very old industrial ship yard. I sent my prayers, and best wishes and said we just have to wait and see what the conditions are like when I dive down and conduct a proper search.

Watch this story and see the exciting recovery in action.

LOST ENGAGEMENT RING IN KELOWNA FOUND & RETURNED.

  • from Kelowna (British Columbia, Canada)

Faith was by the Shopping Centre, and was wandering around her car on the boulevard when she noticed her Engagement Ring was missing.  Devastated and not wanting to tell her fiancé, she purchased a Metal Detector to try to locate it, after 2 hours she gave up. The Detector Salesman told her if you don’t find it, call this professional on The Ringfinders. That evening her fiancé knew something was wrong, and he got the information out of her. The next day she called me, and I responded right away to her location, after her story, I checked the area she suspected with no luck. The lost item often is not in the specific location they mark, so I gridded further out on the boulevard and found the Ring, restoring happiness to the engaged couple.

Lost and found Rolex watch in Rideau river Ottawa

  • from Cobourg (Ontario, Canada)

Today was a very special recovery and a four weeks in the making. Chris was swimming in the Rideau river. As he slowly let himself go from the ladder off the back deck, the clasp of his heirloom Rolex watch came undone and watched in horror as the watch slip off his hand and sank into the water. This special watch was purchased by his mom, and given to his dad to celebrate his retirement after 33 years of loyal service with the Canadian Navy. It was given to Chris when his father passed. After having Scuba divers try to find the watch, on three separate occasions and some with underwater metal detectors, he started to loose hope of ever seing his watch again. Fortunately, he was able to put me within a twenty foot radius of where he believed the watch had fallen into the water. Unfortunately, had to deal with about five inches of silt which brings visibility to zero once you start swinging your coil. But, after finding multiple various metal items, I was finally able to feel the watch with my fingers under the coil of my detector. After surfacing, I was able to give Chris his father’s watch and get it back on his wrist. He was extremely happy and emotional and was a great moment for all. Another happy and special recovery. Life is good!
