Lost Wedding Ring Found 1 Year Later In Lincoln, NB

There’s the ring.

I received a call from  about his wedding ring he lost while out hunting with his son. In the congratulating his son on his first deer, the ring came off of his finger and flew into the woods. They searched for it at the time and then came back on a couple of occasions to see if he could find it, but was never able to locate it. He finally found me online and called, we met up and in a drenching downpourI followed him back into the area he had lost it. I searched the primary area then moved to the expanding search around the perimeter, finally locating it after about a 1/2 hr. He was very relieved to have it back on his finger after a year and said his wife would be equally pleased for the symbol of their marriage to be back in place. Thanks for the reward, and glad to see it back where it belongs.

Lost Heirloom Bracelet found in Keswick Ridge, NB

So I got a call from William who lost his 10K solid gold bracelet from his grandfather, that was given to him by his grandfather just before he passed away. He believed he lost it while at the cemetery near Keswick Ridge, NB or possibly at his parents house in Fredericton, New Brunswick, while cleaning the front and back yard. To make it even worse it snowed for the next few nights covering the area. He had spent days on hands and knees trying to locate it and finally decided to look online for a metal detector rental, but found TheRingFinders and me instead. He called and we met at his house searching the front and back yards with no success. We then drove out and searched at the cemetery where he’d attended his grandfathers funeral. Snow had fallen and been plowed off the road and shoulders forming high snow banks. We started searching from where he’d walked from the road to the cemetery entrance and then searched where he’d parked along the highway. After a short search I located the ring as it had been pushed down the roadway a bit. He was actually on the phone with his family when I walked up and dropped the ring in his hand. To say he was taken aback is an understatement and I could hear hear the families reaction over the phone as he told them it had just been found.

I was so happy to reunite you with your late grandfathers bracelet, that he gave you, I hope it brings you many years of great memories as you wear and look at it.

Lost White Gold Ring Found In Luna Pier Michigan

Beaches, Bonfires and Moongazing

Well what else is there to do in Luna Pier? That’s exactly what Dora and her friends were thinking Saturday night and into the morning hours today when the set up a get together on a private land beach to enjoy spending time together.

As the evening progressed into the morning they watched a thin waxing crescent moon rise over lake Erie. As the logs burnt away and the temperatures dropped the young group of selenophile’s decided to part company. It wasn’t until later this morning Dora realized her ring was missing. On site we checked the beach area and worked towards her house searching the path she travelled. Nothing in the sand was found. Getting closer to her house in a grassy area I got a great signal where white gold registers on my MXT. Reaching down revealed this very unique design white gold ring! Dora concluded that it must have come off while reaching for her keys in her pocket. Now the memories of losing her ring are replaced with thoughts of great friends, beaches, the crackling of a bonfire and the serenity of moonglow!

Penelope’s Great Aunt-Venture

When Penelope got home last night after leaving her friends house she noticed her ring was missing. It was part of a collection her great Aunt had passed down through the family and only hoped it could be found.

On site today we followed the path she walked home. Checking the hard surface areas revealed nothing so I turned on my MXT and walked the path thru some grassy vacant lots she took as a short cut home. Towards the end I got a nice signal in the grass. Pinpointing the target then reaching into the grass revealed this very thin band, unique silver and turquoise adjustable ring! She came over to see and was thrilled that it was here and not out on the pavement, and that she can return it to her great Aunt’s collection.

Lost Wedding Band in Bristow Virginia Yard, Found in Bushes

I received a text message early Saturday morning from Todd in Bristow, Virginia requesting my assistance in locating his yellow gold wedding band which was lost somewhere in his backyard the night before. Todd has been enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having these past few days here on the East coast; spending time cleaning up the yard, doing some trimming of the bushes and vines, doing a general cleanup and hanging around his hammock. At some point during the evening he realized his ring was no longer on his finger, like many men including myself we tend to ‘feel’ the ring constantly as a nature of habit and that’s when he noticed it was gone. He spent several hours at night looking for the ring, unfortunately with no luck. As many customer tend to do he almost was tempted to purchase a metal detector himself, I’m glad he called me instead! Most if not all of the customers I’ve met who have purchased a lower end detector were not successful in finding their treasure as the unit may not have been sufficient to isolate the ring from many other hits, and new customers tend to not have the experience to fully utilize the detector’s features.

I arrived at Todd’s beautiful home in the early part of the afternoon, then after a brief description of his ‘yard’ activities I initially started a quick sweep to see if I could get a hit. With the quick sweep not showing any significant results I started a more detailed grid of different sections of the yard, still no ring. The yard was not significantly large, but was broken up into nice little sectional areas; hammock area, birdbath, stone walk, bush areas. After hitting most areas several times I started to focus on the bush areas next t the fence which also had heavy vines growing on them. I borrowed a rake and cleaned most of the leaves and debris from the bush bedding area and still after a few grid searches no good hits.

I was then laying on the ground running the detectors further in to reach past the heavier bushes that’s when there was something sparking as bright as the ring from Lord of Rings, there was Todd’s beautiful golden wedding band. Even with a detector it would have been difficult to get a hit on this one as it was positioned between two closely nestled bushes. Sometimes you just have to get dirty! Todd was so excited to see his ring back and immediately placed in on his finger, hopefully never to come off again.

Lost White Gold Earring stud with Diamond Found in Farmington Hills Michigan

The Wife and Her Stud……..

…..Julia was shoveling snow, just about 3 weeks ago.

2 huge piles each side of the drive, she thought she’d never survive.

Back in the house warm drink in hand, something was missing totally unplanned.

It broke her heart to be apart……

…….Cos’ it brought pleasure wherever they went, even in the dark where time was spent.

A specialist was called we waited for the melt, I keenly sensed how she felt.

With my electronic sensor highly sensitive, I assured her to stay positive.

Sunrise came I stayed left instead of right, an hour later something sparkled in the light.

Peering down into the grass appeared a post, I blinked twice like I’d seen a ghost.

Signaling to her to come closer….. I see something under a 4 leaf clover.

As she plucked it, jumps, screams and smiles filled the air, tears of joy on re-uniting the pair.

A matchmaker I’m not, but was turned on to help keep their relationship HOT!

The Target

So I got a call for a lost wedding ring. The gentleman was weeding his raised bed gardens in the fall to prepare them for replanting. At the end of the day, after discovering the missing ring he figured that on one of the many trips to throw the handfuls of weeds into the woods, his wedding ring joined them on the flight. He proceeded to search the many weed piles on the forest floor, with no luck. He even borrowed a metal detector, which made lots of noise and gave him exercise but no wedding ring. He then found me online and called and we arranged a time to meet/search. I arrived, got the whole story and saw the search areas. I then laid out and started my search, with the highest likely areas of loss first. After searching all the gardens, weed throw areas, paths to and from, and possible areas of other outdoor chores and coming up empty, it was time to expand the search area. After a 1/2 hr and 8ft outside te original search area, I heard the tone that I was looking for, and after moving some grass aside there was a lovely circle of gold looking back at me. I pulled a surprise reveal by asking him to see his wife’s matching ring to remind me what I was looking for, and when he showed it to me I said « You’re right it does look exactly like yours », and placed his ring beside her ring in my hand. A confused look came over him followed by a wave of realization and his eyes welled up and as he started thanking me. That reaction was all the thanks I needed.

Platinum wedding band recovered from Denver yard

Will was outside of his north Denver house tossing a ball for his dog Winston on a warm March Sunday afternoon when he felt his ring leave his hand. Will and Sadie, his wife, began searching for the ring with no luck. Sadie found my profile on The Ring Finders and called me. I was out enjoying the warm weather by swinging one of my detectors for fun but unfortunately I was nowhere near my home or their house. Due to that set of circumstances Sadie posted on Nextdoor asking to borrow a detector to search for a lost ring. One of the replies that she received was from a member of a local metal detecting club who offered to come and search for the lost ring the following day.

He came to their house and performed a search but was not able to recover the ring. He then gave the president of the metal detecting club a call and he offered to come and do a search the following day which was a Tuesday. The club president then preformed a search as well with the same results, no ring. So Sadie contacted me again and we set up a time for me to come by and do a search Wednesday afternoon. After my arrival I talked with Will and he told me of the circumstances of the rings loss and of the other two unsuccessful searches. I set about my search as Will and Sadie returned to their house and their 7 month old daughter. Within a couple of minutes of beginning my search I had Will’s ring in hand. Both Will and Sadie were surprised that I recovered the ring and in such a quick manner.

Ring lost in the Kelowna snow, found & returned weeks later

An ex Westjet flight attendant friend of mine, who knew I was a member of The Ringfinders, called me to ask if I could help her friend Pam locate her lost ring. Pam loaned her mothers ring to her daughter to wear. Playing in the snow throwing snowballs, the daughter lost the ring on a boulevard. I met Pam by the school and she showed me where her daughter thought that she lost the ring in the snow. Pam and both her kids had searched the area a few times with no luck, they had given up, but my friend said not to give up. By now the snow was gone and the boulevard was grass. I started my search and Pam wandered the other way, fortunately the sun luckily glinted off the gold and Pam had the ring in minutes.
