Cody’s (the husband) story of tragedy to triumph…

So we were spending the day on the beach with visiting family and 13 days after celebrating our one year anniversary as the vehicle keys were being pulled from the beach bag along came my wife’s wedding band. After thoroughly searching the vehicle and bag we headed back to the beach at sundown to search the parking lot and do a quick check of the beach we decided instead of wasting more tears we would wait till the morning To seek help I called a business and got the recommendation to give Mr. Ray of Emerald Isle Metal Detecting a call. Less than two hours later he called us over as he was kneeling on the beach and my wife’s tears turned to happy tears as she picked her wedding band from the sand. We our forever grateful! Thank you so much!

Gold Ring Lost in Wilmington Found

Jeff contacted me about a wedding band lost behind his parents house.  He explained it is located in the marsh of the Intracoastal Waterway.  My first search with him present was unsuccessful due to the large amounts of reeds & weeds growing from the soft muck sand.  I returned shortly afterwards with a new approach and attitude and this time was able to pick up a brief tone in a thick section of reeds.  Resolving to not let any signal go unchecked, I was able to locate the gold ring and send Jeff the good news!

Jon was preparing to play volleyball when he placed his sentimental necklace in a bag for safe keeping.  On the journey from the beach house to the shoreline beach, the necklace slipped out of the bag and hide in the soft sand.  A phone call to me later that evening was to request to rent a metal detector.  After I explained that I search for lost items, Jon wanted me to come out as soon as possible.  With the use of flashlights I started searching and finding many bottle caps in the process.  Finally my coil swung over Jon’s necklace and I sifted the sand through my fingers to lift up his lost treasure.
