Lost Ear Ring in yard during Party

We got a call from a young man in a panic.  He lost his « Diamond » Ear Ring in the front yard of his Aunt’s house at a Halloween Party.  They were taking photos of the really cool Grave Site display in the front yard.  He lifted his girlfriend on to his shoulders and they took some fun photos, then he sat her back down and they walked across the yard and he realized the Diamond Ear Ring was gone.  Their pictures showed he had it on when his girlfriend was on his shoulders,  but in a 2nd picture across the yard the Ear Ring was gone.  He said everyone ate the party was on their hands and knees trying to find it for over an hour.  He and his girlfriend had tried using 3 different metal detectors but with no luck.

So in a last ditch effort before the yard guys came out he turned to the Internet to see if anyone did this kind of searching and immediately the Dallas Ring Finders popped up.  We arrived the next afternoon.  Fortunately he had a matching Ear Ring we were able to get a signal to match too.  After searching the yard with our Garrett AT Pro’s running on their highest sensitivity we had no luck.   So we had to get out our secret weapon our « Garret Super Sniper Coil » that is designed for very tiny objects.  After getting a matching reading on the 2nd Ear Ring we were about to give up searching, I decided to check the prime target area one more time and I got a matching signal.  Using our Garrett Pinpointer I worked it into the very thick grass and I saw the glint and I knew I had it.  And the rest is happy history…..

Got a call from a wonderful, beautiful senior citizen who lost her valuable gold earring she has had for 52 years from her late-husband. After several days of searching and even having a neighbor with a metal detector come over to assist they were unable to locate the missing item.  She said ‘my heart is so sad’.  After checking the internet she found The Ring Finders and gave us a call, which we immediately responded. In just a few minutes we were able to locate the earring under the thick grass at the edge of her beautiful garden. With tears in her eyes she held the item next to her heart and thanked us over and over.  God we love what we do.

Lost Wedding Set Thanks To A Spider

We received a call from a couple who needed help locating the wife’s silver wedding set in their front yard.  We drove north outside of Decatur, TX to help this couple. Upon our arrival the husband briefly explained that the wife (who was still at work today) was crossing the yard from her car to the front door as a shortcut rather than from the driveway.  In doing so passed under a tree and were she encountered a massive spiderweb with the creature still in the web. Upon feeling the web/spider she immediately began shaking her hands to clean off the web and shoo the spider and in doing so her rings flew off.  (country spiders are big!) The couple searched the path she took, the grass around the tree and areas beyond; with no luck. [mmm, just thinking…could diamonds be a girl spider’s best friend?] We used our Garrett ATPros and began our search with unfortunately no success.  However, after questioning the husband if his wife was athletically inclined and he said ‘yes’ we expanded our search grid and voila two wedding rings found.  Another happy customer for The Ring Finders.

Got a call from a young lady saying her husband was playing with his wedding ring while driving and it dropped between the seats and disappeared.  Both searched for the ring for two days with no luck.  In a last ditch effort they turned to the mighty internet in hopes of finding someone with experience who finds lost rings.  And, they found us, The Ring Finders. We drove to Ft Worth, TX and met with the owner of the ring and got a description of what happened.  We used our specialized camera to search the nooks and crannies that was not available to the naked eye and spotted his wedding band. Our happiness of returning the ring to him almost matched his happiness of having it back in his possession and on his finger.

Anther great find for The Ring Finders.

We got a call from a young man who said he was playing Football with a friend, just passing the ball around.  When they finished playing he realized his coveted Aggie Ring was gone.

He jumped on the Internet and found « The Ring Finders » and gave us a call.  We responded immediately and boy was it hot, over 100 degrees.  Ellen and I covered the entire football field and on my next to last pass I saw His Aggie Ring sparkling in the dirt and grass, no detector needed on this one.

I let Ellen know I found it and we went walking towards the young man.  As we got closer I told him we needed to get some water and ask him to hold this and I handed him his Aggie Ring.  I wish you all could have seen his face, it was priceless.  So much fun, I love what we get to do to help people in their time of panic.

Hearing Aids Lost in Yard

We got a call from a gentleman who said his wife had placed her hearing aids on top of her phone and walked out the front door to open the gate.  Somewhere along the way across the yard the Hearing Aids fell into the deep St Augustine grass.  She and her husband searched and searched even buying a magnetic bar on wheels to try and find the Hearing Aids.  After 3 days of searching and panic began to set in.  These were new Hearing Aids and not insured.

The husband began to search the internet and found « The Ring Finders » and called us.  Luckily we were on our way back into the Dallas area and were able to reroute to the Gaston Street area downtown.   The hearing aids were so small out Garrett ATPRO’S bearly picked up a signal.  I had to get on hand and knees and use our Pinpointers to find them.  It took a while but we had success, the Hearing Aids had fallen just inside the flower beds and they were brown in color so very hard to see.

We got a call on Easter Sunday afternoon from a very upset gentleman.  He was at a family gathering for Easter and a water balloon fight broke out.  Rewind a moment …to earlier that day the Grandma of the family had passed along to her 14yr old  Granddaughter a Gold & Diamond Ring she had been wearing for over 60 years, she told her Granddaughter to keep it safe and to pass it down to her children one day.  Then, a little later, the water balloon fight broke out with all the family members.  Lots of laughter, everyone was soaked, everyone so happy and then the granddaughter SCREEMED « my ring is gone! ».  Everyone dropped to their knees and began searching.  The father jumped on the Internet looking for a solution and found « The Ring Finders » website.  He gave me a call and it just so happened we lived on 11 miles away.  So Ellen & I jumped into the truck and drove over.  When we arrived 3 family members were still searching the yard.  Ellen & I began our search over lapping each pass. We checked the field beyond the house and got permission to go over to the neighbors on both sides in case it flew over the fence.  We even used our camera system to check the gutters on the home to no avail.

We decided to make one more pass over the backyard area where the granddaughter had spend most her time.  And on my next to last row/pass, I got a signal that should not have been her ring but then I saw it…

Easter Celebration was saved.. smilies and hugs and tears thanks to the Ring Finders….  It was a Easter to remember.

Mens Wedding Band lost in Joe Pool Lake

After a great day on the water at Joe Pool Lake,  the client placed his wedding on a Yellow and Black Container and set it up on the dock.  He then set his Wedding Band on the Container and continued clearing out his boat.  Finding one more item he reached over the edge and opened the Container and saw his Wedding Ring slip off into the lake.   After finding us on the Ring Finders Website we had him measure the depth of the water.  But amazing it s 26ft deep.  A very deep Dive for our area in total darkness.  Upon arrival we set a drop line with a weight attached in what we hoped would be the exact location of the ring, both the husband and his wife were extremely nervous.  After about f26 minutes I was able to locate the ring 26ft down in the dark.  So fun to see a happy customer.
