LOST PLATINUM/ROSE GOLD & DIAMOND RING IN SNOW Brampton, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I received a phone message this morning from a young man Satvir K. of Brampton Ontario.

I called Satvir back and spoke to him. He had shovelled the snow late last night and then proceeded to spread salt on his driveway with his bare hands. When he came into his home he noticed his sentimental wedding band recent made/purchased in India was missing! Satvir went back out to check the snow banks for 3 hours with no success.

Satvir googled lost ring and “The Ring Finders Dot Com’ page came up!

I immediately headed down after speaking with him. Within 5 minutes I located Satvir’s beautiful wedding band at the bottom of the driveway! He and his Wife were so thrilled and very happy!

Here is a video link to the ring recovery!!

I am grateful that another charity donation has come into ‘The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation’ through my fundraising page! Satvir receives a tax donation receipt!

Thank you for your kindness Satvir!

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Received a text and phone call from Adrian. His dear Friend Alexis was visiting him at Blue Mountain Village in Collingwood, Ontario.

Great Friends having a great time enjoy the many activities Blue Mountain has to offer! Wonderful dining and apres ski bars, day and night skiing, incredible spa packages with a tremendous European atmosphere!

They were enjoying a smoke on the balcony. Alexis flicked her cigarette butt off the balcony and her late Mother’s ring that was gifted to her flew off into the snow below.

Adrian purchased a metal detector from a local Canadian Tire store but had no luck! He then found and hired me off TheRingFindersDotCom website.

Adrian was determined to surprise Alexis to get this very sentimental and irreplaceable ring back to her! What an amazing Friendship!! Check out the video!!

10k GOLD HEIRLOOM WEDDING RING LOST IN SAND LAKE, KEARNEY, ON 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I was tagged in a Facebook post for a lost wedding band sitting at the bottom of Sand Lake in beautiful Kearney, Ontario.

I contacted Colleen Morgan. Unfortunately, her Father had passed away and a week later, Colleen’s Mother Dot was swimming in the water in front of their cottage. Dot was heartbroken when she came out of the water and noticed her late husbands wedding band had fallen off her finger!

I made arrangements and with Colleen’s help she was able to get me some spotters to assist me because she was unsure if the ring was lost in 5 feet of water or deeper! Thank goodness I took my scuba gear… As I soon found out the ring was deeper than 5 feet!

I started an underwater circular grid. A little over 20 minutes and BINGO!! Behold Mr Morgan’s wedding band was located close to the stone marker! a quick FaceTime message to Colleen with tears of joy! Even I had some on this one!

Here’s a video we put together

Colleen and her Son devised a little treasure hunt for her Mother in hospital this past weekend. PRICELESS!

I was blessed to make new Friends of Sand Lake!!

I’d like to thank Friend & Groomer RoCkStAr Mark Reynolds for the Facebook TAG!!

Also, a special thank you to Jill Howard, Heather & Dave Smith…. Sand Lake locals for meeting me and assisting with this special ring recovery! I can’t wait to see you again!!

Alberta man lost his wedding band playing football at Wasaga Beach 6, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

A western Canada Alberta man named Milton was visiting Wasaga Beach 6, Ontario a few months ago. He was 100-150 yards off shore throwing around a football when his silver coloured tungsten ring slipped off into the water!

I saw a Facebook post on the local Wasaga Beach page and messaged Milton. I advised I was a professional detectorist with The Ring Finders Dot Com and explained what we did and that we were part of a global organization in helping people find their lost belongings. He hired me and I headed out a few days later.

Day 1 was quite rough. 7 hours in the water gridding from shore out to 200’. I ALWAYS go further and wider from where they ‘think’ they’ve lost their ring…especially if a throwing motion was a factor! I had no luck!

Day 2 I decided to try again but go further out…and BINGO, I FOUND IT!!! I came back into shore and face timed Milton through Facebook. Happy Husband & his Happy Wife!!

Check out the video!!

The next day I mailed Milton’s silver coloured tungsten wedding band back to Alberta. He graciously made a donation for my “pay-it-forward campaign” with an on-line donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation. The Foundation then sends a tax receipt! Everyone wins!!

Thank you Milton for entrusting me to recover and return your wedding band!!

Man loses 18k wedding band on a dock Stewart Lake, Mactier, ON 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Mass & Joanne were at their Friends cottage on beautiful Stewart Lake in Mactier, Ontario in the Township of Georgian Bay in absolutely breathtaking Muskoka Region.

They were enjoying a lovely day on the dock when they heard a click and a clang. Mass realized his 18k yellow/white gold wedding band had slipped off his finger, hit the deck and dropped into the water below.

They searched that day with no luck. They were up early to search the next morning with again no luck. Joanne googled « how to find a lost ring » and « THE RING FINDERS » directory came up. We traded emails throughout the week and set a date and time!

I arrived and shortly after Joanne and the cottage owners arrived! We brought all my gear down and here’s how it went….

It too 22 seconds to hear « that » distinctive gold tone on my Minelab Excalibur2… Then 36 seconds to get safety get under the dock to grasp the wedding band amongst the debris!!

Happy to help this couple out and grateful their charitable donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation!! PAYING IT FORWARD!! Thank you Mass & Joanne!

Young Newly Engaged Couple lose Heirloom 18k Engagement Ring in the waters of Gulliver’s Lake, Hamilton ON 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Received a phone call from newly engaged Crystal inquiring about the recovery process of her recently lost 62 year old Heirloom 18k white gold with diamonds that belonged to her late Grandmother in the water at Gulliver’s Lake in Millgrove, Hamilton, Ontario! A popular RV camp ground, water activities, swimmers, beach goers and scuba divers with no motorized boating allowed!

Crystal advised her Fiancé Garrett of what we discussed but Garrett wanted desperately to find the ring himself due to his fun play of throwing his Fiancé into the water. He purchased a detector and wrapped it in plastic. They searched for hours with no luck and decided to call me back and book me for Sunday morning!

With permission granted from the Manager Debbie I arrived to meet them onsite 10am Sunday.

Unfortunately, Crystal felt her engagement ring fly off. They had a 10′ by 10′ exact area but us detectorists know how  trajectory and ring weight can play an important role to determine its path!

With a silty bottom and not too bad visibility I decided an underwater circular grid would be best at 6″ to 8″ depth with my scuba gear, 2 fiberglass poles, high viz yellow line and my Minelab excalibur2 with short dive shaft was set!

I set it up with Garrett that we were going to surprised Crystal as I felt strongly this wouldn’t take long in which it was amazing it took 25 seconds after my initial set up!!! A PERSONAL RECORD FOR ME!!

Check out my YouTube video and surprise!!!

Well, we definitely surprised Crystal to say the least…. BEEP……BEEP and Garrett and Crystal’s Father a sign of relief!!

Happy to help this young couple out on retrieving her beloved late Grandmother’s Engagement ring that meant the world to them and the Family!!

Thank you Garrett for his donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation in my « PAY-IT-FORWARD CAMPAIGN »!! Using my passion for metal/scuba dive detecting to raise much needed funds to breast cancer Patients! Instead of my receiving a « reward » for finding the clients item, I insist the clients makes a donation to my Charity that I’ve Snowmobiles/Volunteered with TGE last 11 of 20 years bow onto Year #12!! Garrett will receive a tax receipt for his donation!! 🌸💖🌸

Man loses 14k white gold with palladium trim wedding band in waters of Wasaga Beach 3

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Adam & Lindsay from Kingston, ON we’re visiting Wasaga Beach 3 with Family members! The guys were playing with a bounce ball in the water when Adam felt and saw his wedding band fall off his finger into the water. The three guys all started looking to try to see the ring but had no luck.

Lindsay was checking beach goers to see if anyone had swim googles to loan to assist looking for the ring underwater.

Ann Maria and Kaitlin visiting the beach from Collingwood had suggested calling THE RING FINDERS Alison as they had recently saw a post of another ring recovery & return the previous day!

I had been dealing with a blown serpentine belt on my diesel truck and advised I could attend the location in an hours time to assist.

Arrived and discussed the details of how Adam had lost his wedding ring. Decided to complete a circular grid at first but after 6 passes changed to a back and forth grid. After 45 minutes, I had a beauty of a tone.

I had winked to my Friends Heather & Greg (Greg fixed my truck hours before) to restart the video…then the surprise!!

Check out the video!!

Adam was in disbelief!! I could see that he was giving up….but I never give up!

I wish this lovely young couple the very best for the arrival of their first born child in October!! Also, I I am grateful to have another donation coming into the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation for my PAY-IT-FORWARD fundraising efforts!! Using my passion for metal detecting for charity!!

LITTLE BOY TOSSES HIS MOTHER’S BFF’s PLATINUM DIAMOND WEDDING BAND INTO THE GRASS in KLEINBURG, ONTARIO

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Kleinburg, Ontario – Received a referral from RingFinder Steve Z for a lost wedding band in the tall grass of a backyard!

I called the client Gabriel during dinner for the details and proceeded to head over before dark!

An hour later I arrived into the beautiful quaint little Village of Kleinburg in Vaughan Township!! Sure brought back memories travelling from Rexdale up Highway 27 to Nobleton many moons ago!!.

Gabriel’s Wife had her Girlfriends over in the afternoon. One of her Girlfriends took her Platinum Diamond Wedding band off and put it down on the table. Camillo, the couples young Son took the wedding band and flung it over his shoulder into the tall grass behind him!! They searched for hours and decided to call upon THE RING FINDERS DOT COM professionals!

I set up my Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector with the extra large 15” coil! 3 minutes later I asked if the wedding band was Platinum instead of 925 silver as originally advised. (I had a sweet low tone but caught a glimpse of the band buried in the grass)

Gabriel’s Wife called her BFF to check what the wedding band was made of… but I then called little Camillo over to help me and gave him my pinpointer!! We then pulled the beautiful wedding band out!! Check out our video!

I think we have a new DETECTING PIRATE in the making!!! On the flip side…instead of receiving a reward, I always ask my Clients to PAY-UT-FORWARD by making an immediate online donation to the “Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation in which I have snowmobiled/volunteered for the last 11 of 20 years now my 12th year!  Here is a link to my KSBCF fundraising page!
