Two Lost Gold Diamond Rings at Calve Barn in Mt. Sterling, OH « FOUND »

I received an email from a lady that lost both of her Gold Diamond Rings while helping her neighbor feed some calves. Some of the calves were sucking on her fingers as she feed the others. Before she lefted the barn, she realize that both her rings were missing. It was dark out and it would be impossible to look for both rings since there is straw and calve manure everywhere in the barn.

I came with my rubber boots and my metal detecting and started searching though the straw and calve manure. Found the five stoned gold ring within 15 minutes of searching. But the other bigger diamond ring was no where to be found after another hour of looking. I then switched to a smaller coil and moved some calve pins. There was the other ring, in the corner where the bigger coil could not get to. Her face lit up when she saw the other ring.

Found 1885 Five Dollar American Gold Coin at Vancouver Park…

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Well its been an amazing week and a half for recoveries! I Found a $7000 Rolex watch and a $4500 Breitling watch along with a diamond pendent and some gold wedding bands and a silver native ring. I have been able to make a few people very happy these days!        This was another highlight for me as I got a call to find a beautiful $5.00 Gold Coin for a young man who lost it playing baseball.  I met the young man and his girlfriend at around 11pm as I new that we had to find it ASAP. You see he told me that his late Grandfather gave it to him many years ago and he wore it everyday.I asked a few questions and felt good about finding the gold coin because the grass was a bit high and we all know how gold likes to hide… Well it could only hide for 45 minutes from me before I was able to find and give it back to the owner.   I have the greatest job in the world! I get to make people smile! It was nice meeting you both tonight Roger and I’m so happy that you got your Grandfathers gift back! Thank you for the kind reward!  Best, Chris TurnerI love my job! Lost something?Call me ASAP! You can watch the search below.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NENBmBUH6Hs

I received a call the other day in regards to a lost Stainless Steel wedding band that a young man had lost at 3rd beach in Stanley Park, Vancouver.

I met up with the man and his friend and they told me the story how they were throwing a frisbee and when he came out of the water the ring was gone.

These searches can take a while because you have to set the grid until you get in the right area and I did get in the right area after 30 minutes…

I love my job and I love to see the smiles after you find what you’re looking for…I’ll never get tired of this job!

Thank you Sean for the kind reward!

Less than 30 seconds ring found at Montrose Beach chicago, Il

  • from Las Vegas (Nevada, United States)
Contact:

I received a call from a young man who had just lost his new wedding band at the volleyball court at Montrose Beach.

He and his wife had just been married two weeks ago and were having a picnic with their friends. On the way over he asked his wife where her rings were and she said that because they were going to the beach she left them home…..Well I got the call.

Literally on the first swing of the coil, I had a tone. I swept back to verify, and dug. BINGO!

His comment…. »THATS IMPRESSIVE »

There were so many cameras taking pictures, I felt like a rock star.

It’s great to be a Ring Finder.

School ring found and returned in Round Lake, IL

  • from Las Vegas (Nevada, United States)
Contact:

I found this 2007 High School ring in the water at Round Lake, IL.  and spent a week trying to return it to it’s owner. I called the school and because of privacy  issues could not give me any contact information. I then went to the white pages and called everyone with the same last name within a 40 mile area. I received a call back and had them describe the ring.

Apparently, playing football in the water might not be the best thing to do if you want to keep your rings. She lost it  6 years ago doing the football thing with her dad.

I sent the ring back to her and received a thank you after she received it. She declined the request to submit a photo with her returned ring.

No problem, I can understand the privacy issue. Attaches if a photo of the ring (Sans Owner).

Lost Wedding Ring in the Ocean at Jericho Beach, Vancouver

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

I got a call last week from a young man who I learned is from Peru and he told me that he had lost his wedding ring in the ocean at Jericho Beach in Vancouver. He felt pretty sick about the whole thing but he did something not many people do and that is make a note of the location where he lost the ring …This is a great thing to do as it gives me a chance to narrow down the search area and concentrate in a smaller area. As you can only imagine how hard it is to find something so small in such a big ocean makes it a bit of a challenge.   Floyd met me at the beach the second day and showed me the approximent area and that helped tremendously as I was in the wrong area the first time out. This morning I was determine to get out there at low tide and find that ring for the young man. After 3 hours and hardly a signal I got what I was looking for…a great signal… As I scooped up my target I saw that beautiful yellow colour that I was visualizing the whole time I was out there.I have the greatest job and my office is always amazing. It was nice meeting you Floyd and I was thrilled to be able to help you find what you thought was lost forever. I love my job!Lost Something?Call me ASAP! Watch the video of the search on the link below…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8V_u_P2wjcc

Lost Gold Man’s Wedding Ring in Powell, OH “FOUND”.

I received an email from a guy that lost his gold wedding ring while helping with his young daughters softball game. He played pitcher, catcher and second baseman. Between each inning he took off is baseball mitt. After the game while at dinner, he noticed that his gold wedding ring was no longer on his finger.

He went back to the baseball diamond to look for his ring but no luck. After he got home and read the Columbus Dispatch, he saw my news article. Then he emailed me about his lost ring at about 10 pm at night.

By the next morning I was heading to meet him to look for the ring.  I had a two hour window to find the ring before he had to leave for a couple of days. Since other games would have been played there before he would return someone else could have found it.  Looking for an hour and a half and asking many questions as to where he was during the game the ring was found covered up by the dirt.

He was very glad to have his ring back since he just celebrated his 10 year wedding anniversary.
