Find a Lost Engagement Ring in Cedar Beach, Gilgo New York 💍🙏

  • from Orchard Beach (New York, United States)

ANOTHER ONE BACK WHERE IT BELONGS! 💍🙏

If you lost jewelry or valuables – call me right away! 646-235-8797

Last night, I got that call every metal detectorist loves
but every newly engaged couple dreads. Osman told me his wife’s beautiful gold & diamond engagement ring — yeah, the real deal — slipped right off her finger thanks to a sneaky wave at Cedar Beach, Gilgo NY. The ring was a little loose
 the ocean? Definitely not. 🌊💹

They were completely panicked. His words? “We couldn’t even think straight anymore.”

So today, your boy rolled out to Cedar Beach. I timed it just right to hit low tide around 3PM. Got there at 1:45
said a quiet little prayer on the way
 and got to work.

Two hours. Two hours of fighting waves, getting tossed around like I was in a washing machine, sand in places sand shouldn’t be
I was about ready to throw in the towel (literally). But then I remembered — just because it was lost in the water, doesn’t mean it stayed in the water.

So I moved up the beach, closer to the ‘swash zone’
 and then finally
BEEP! Music to my ears. Dug down about 4 inches, sifted through the sand
and there it was — that beautiful gold diamond ring, safe and sound, ready to go home.

Osman’s giving it back to his fiancĂ©e tonight
and he thinks this moment might even top the day he proposed. After all
 it was “lost forever”
 but now it’s back.

Massive thanks to the Big Guy upstairs for letting me be the one to find it. 🙏

Lost your ring? You know where to find me.

Lost gold ring found in Newcastle, Maine

  • from Rockport (Maine, United States)

After receiving a call from Erin I headed to Newcastle, ME to locate this cigar band gold ring she lost while swimming at Colby wildlife Refuge.  The ring which actually belongs to her husband and is a family heirloom was lost last year. Although they had searched previously with a detector themselves, Erin kept my involvement a secret and couldn’t wait to surprise her husband with the good news at a family BBQ that evening. As you can imagine finding and recovering it from the mudflats was a sticky, gooey, muddy good time with a garden hose shower for me and my equipment as soon as I got home. A portion of the reward received will be directed to the MCST Outdoor Leadership Program.

Lost diamond Stud earring found in Friendship, Maine

  • from Rockport (Maine, United States)

I traveled to Friendship yesterday after receiving a call from Judy who had lost her diamond stud earring in the backyard when Poppy her corgi puppy nibbled at her ear. This was a particularly challenging recovery as most detectors would not be able to sense such small pieces of low conductive metal. After about half an hour the earring and backing were recovered and returned to Judy, and Poppy was no longer in the dog house. A portion of the reward I received will be donated to PAWS animal shelter in Camden.

I received an email from the Mount Diablo Metal Detecting Club requesting volunteers for a ring recovery in Pleasant Hill, CA.  The ring had been lost several weeks earlier while the gentleman performed backyard gardening work.  I responded that I could be available to assist.

The following day members of the MDMDC and the local chapter of the UPI met at the residence to perform a search.  After a short description of the work being performed when the unique and beautiful ring went missing, we got to work and it did not take long for this All Star Team to Make The Recovery!!!

Longport NJ Lost Wedding Band Found by Ring Finders South Jersey John Favano

Laine and Mitch were enjoying a beautiful summer day on the beach in Longport, NJ—relaxing, soaking in the sun, and making memories. At some point during their time by the water, Laine had Mitch’s wedding band on her finger, keeping it safe while they swam and played in the sand. But in a split second, that small gesture turned into a stressful moment neither of them expected.

While brushing sand off her hands or perhaps during a casual gesture, Laine accidentally flung her hand—and with it, Mitch’s ring. It flew through the air and disappeared into the soft, dry sand. At first, they both thought it would be easy to spot, but as they searched and sifted, it became clear the ring had vanished. Minutes turned into over an hour, and the frustration started to set in. What began as a perfect beach day quickly took a turn.

Not ready to give up, Laine began searching online for a solution. That’s when she came across my website—RingFindersSouthJersey.com—and gave me a call. I was already nearby, so I headed straight to Longport to help.

When I arrived, I asked Laine and Mitch a few quick questions about how and where the ring might have come off. They had done a great job narrowing down the area, which made my job easier. I turned on my metal detector and began sweeping over the sand where the ring was last seen.

To everyone’s surprise—including mine—it only took one swing of the detector before I heard that sweet tone. I knelt down, pushed aside some sand, and there it was—Mitch’s wedding band! It had only been inches beneath the surface, but just far enough to stay hidden from plain sight.

The look of relief on their faces said it all. Mitch smiled from ear to ear, and Laine couldn’t stop thanking me. It was a simple recovery, but for them, it meant everything. That ring held sentimental value and symbolized something far greater than just jewelry—it was their commitment to each other.

Another successful ring recovery in Longport, NJ, and another happy couple reunited with their lost treasure. Whether it’s a beach in Longport, Ocean City, or anywhere in South Jersey, I’m always ready to help bring your lost items back where they belong.

If you’ve lost a ring or valuable item in the sand or surf, don’t panic. Give me a call at Ring Finders South Jersey I’ll do everything I can to recover what you thought was lost forever.

Platinum Wedding Band Lost While Cutting Yard-Found

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Kevin had contacted me and said he had lost his wedding band in the yard while cutting the grass. They had looked for it for a couple of days but the weeds in that area were quite tall and finding a ring visually was out of the question. I found the ring in an area where the weeds were around eight inches tall. Total search time was around an hour.

Gold Wedding Band Lost Right After Wedding-Found!

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Linsey called me and said they had held a wedding venue in their yard for their daughter and son-in-law. Her yard was quite large and her son-in-law had lost his ring right after the wedding. She had purchased a metal detector but struck out.  Because of the size of the yard I set up a grid search and it took me all of two hours before I found it. Her daughter and son-in-law were out of town at the time.
