After several attempts, several detectorists, a team of four of us found this ring and returned it to the rightful owner.

Lost Platinum Wedding Band at Nimitz Beach…FOUND!!!
This ring find began Saturday evening when I got a call from Lars who lives in Kailua. While fishing with friends at Nimitz beach his Platinum wedding band fell off into the dry sand. He saw where it entered the dry sand and bent down to retrieve his ring. Wait! What? It wasn’t there and he spent another hour sifting the sand for his ring. It got dark and he abandoned his search. Frustrated to see the ring fall into the sand and not find it Lars wasn’t going to give up that easily. His friends recommended a metal detectorist or even to rent one. Then a google search led him to « the ring finders ». I got the call and agreed to meet Lars at the beach first light the next morning. When we arrived Lars took me to the circle on the beach he made with sticks and said the ring is somewhere in there. The area was only about 15 feet in diameter so I started a search. Guess what? No ring and no targets. I expanded the grid search and about five feet outside the circle I got a nice tone. One scoop down and there was Lars’ incredibly designed Platinum wedding band. He was amazed how far off he was in his search. Another thrilled customer! Aloha to Lars.

…Should not mean losing your jewelry but that was not the case for this nice gentleman who was helping his elderly folks on Thanksgiving day tidying up the yard a bit before dinner. We made plans to meet this morning and on the phone he explained they didn’t know for sure where in the yard it may be and they had bagged 3 bags of leaves. I arrived on site and scanned all 3 bags getting no signal. Then I just started gridding the yard and bam! a clear +42 came thru on my MXT meter with 0 depth and I knew I had it! Probing through the grass revealed this golden beauty shining up at us from the sun’s reflection!
He was elated as he came a long distance to meet me and it made his and the family’s Thanksgiving more memorable!

53 YEAR OLD WEDDING RING RETURNED IN KELOWNA
Gail and her husband Trevor just completed the yard cleanup of fall leaves, when they noticed Trevor had lost his wedding ring. They called me and I advised then not to discard the bags of leaves until after my search, experience tells me that that is the prime location for a lost ring. I responded the next day and searched all the yard and quickly scanned the 20 large garbage bags of leaves with no success. I told them I would return and go through each bag separately. I returned 2 days later and started emptying each bag and scanning the contents. Success on the 13th bag I got a strong signal which turned out to be the wedding ring. December would be their 53rd wedding anniversary, they were happy to have the ring back.

I received a text Thanksgiving eve asking if I could help find a wedding ring Lost in a back yard after the husband was doing yard work removing landscaping and noticed his ring was gone! We agreed to meet Friday just after the holidays to give it a search.
Promptly arriving and meeting the nice family I was shown a few prospective areas that it may of been lost at a week earlier…There were many probabilities,Not just the amount of excess leaves, branches, bushes, shrubs, plants,Rebar,Nails,but Metal Detectors near sodium lights and Homes will interfere and give false signals that makes problems to even your average Hobbyists Metal detector guy.
After going through the first possible areas in the front yard I had found confidence that it’s not there. The second place to scan over is where he had first started to cut and remove debris. I began the search and heard 2 strong signals inches apart that were ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals so I reached down to the most likely target sounding like a Platinum ring using a hand held metal detector pinpointer And there was a shiny Wedding ring buried under vegetation!
They were so happy and in shock but Shockingly so was I to find this so fast. It only took just a 20 minute hunt to find his lost platinum wedding ring of 14yrs buried in San Diego! What a great service to be a member of and it’s such an Honor that I can help others in need.

Lost Wedding Ring in Medford NJ Found By Dave Milsted
Melissa called me earlier in the week. Her husband of 1 year lost his wedding ring. They think he lost it in the yard doing yard work 3 weeks ago. Wednesday afternoon would be the day I could search.
They had looked into buying a replacement but, the new ring was much more expensive then it was a year ago.
I get to the location, and I am greeted by Chris & Melissa. Chris explains that he has lost some weight and his ring was loose. He put it in his pock while he was cutting the grass. It was the same pocket that he put his phone. He took the phone out a few time to change the music he was listening to. He did this a few time in the front yard. The property is about an acre.
They had borrowed a metal detector from a friend but didn’t have any luck. It was constantly beeping.
I started in the front yard. At about 1 hour and 45 minutes into the hunt, I did most of the front yard, from the road towards the house. It was getting to be dinner time, and the mosquitoes were getting hungry. I decided that I would search near the front steps, then go to the backyard and search around the shed before calling it quits and returning this weekend.
15 minutes later I get a really good tone, had to get down on a knee and pull back the grass, and there is a cobalt ring with 14k rose gold inlay. Awesome looking ring.
I was about to ring the doorbell when Melissa showed up at the door. I showed her the ring, and the look on her face was priceless. I got a huge hug. Chris was very happy to see his rig. He didn’t believe that I found it near the front steps. He said that it had no chance of being there.

Wedding ring found in Lincoln Park area Chicago
Husband and Wife had a little disagreement Wife let the ring sail in the wind.

This was a tough one as the ring was pretty small and found up against a sprinkler box which my detector could not get close enough to it, so actually found it after about an hour with a pinpointer.
Now that the ring is back hoping they are too.

Lost Diamond & Gold Wedding Ring at White Plains Beach…FOUND!!!
This ring find began when I got a call Friday evening from Tracy who lives in Kailua. Tracy works for NOAA Hawaiian Monk Seal Rescue and was currently involved with a rescue at White Plains Beach. Her team was in the process of removing a fish hook from the throat of a Hawaiian Monk Seal when Tracy found her wedding ring getting tangled in the process. She remove the ring and placed it in the back pocket of her shorts and continued with the assistance on the monk seal. The team decided the monk seal would require sedation and in patient care so they transported the monk seal to their sanctuary for surgery. With the monk seal safely in transport Tracy went to retrieve her ring from her back pocket and it was gone. She and her team looked around the beach but it was no where to be found. The lifeguards at White Plains gave Tracy my number and we decided to meet the next morning for the hunt. An accident on the freeway made me about an hour late but Tracy patiently waited. When I arrived Tracy took me down to the spot on the beach from the moment she placed the ring in her short’s pocket. There was quite a bit of beach to search and the area was fairly trashy so I had to work through the chatter. After searching the first area with no luck Tracy showed me the path she took to the next area she was in. Nearly halfway to that spot along the path I got a great signal and one scoop down I retrieved the target. Looking in the scoop and pulling out the ring I showed Tracy and said, « Nah! This can’t be your ring. » She looked over in utter amazement and said, « Yes! That’s it! » A hug of relief and Tracy called her husband to give him the good news. Tracy was so thankful and said the knot she had in her stomach instantly went away. Aloha to Tracy! BTW the Hawaiian Monk Seal had the fish hook successfully removed and was returned to the wild that morning. Mahalo to the Team for their dedication and hard work keeping these beautiful creatures healthy!
Lost Man’s Titanium Wedding Ring in Orient, OH. “FOUND”
I received a call about a lost man’s titanium wedding ring, lost about two years ago in the back yard. It all happened while taking his dog outside in the backyard. The dog leash was being held by his left hand then the dog darted off, at the same time his arm swung and the ring few through the air somewhere in the backyard. I started my search with about half of the the yard being search with no luck. Continuing my search I received a good hit, dig and saw the ring they in the dirt. He was very happy to have the ring returned to him.
