Lost Texas A&M Class Ring in Tellico Lake

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was contacted by Natalie who lost her ring in Tellico Lake. Natalie is leaving in two weeks and was celebrating with some friends, having a going away party when she lost her ring. Time being of the essence I responded quickly as I could to make sure she didn’t leave without it. I arrived at the private property before Natalie could get there and talked to the homeowner who was expecting me. I went to the area that she described in a photo, after finding several rusty nails I finally found her ring in about 5ft of water.

I got out of the water to dry off and retrieve my phone from the car when Natalie arrived. Trying to surprise her we walked back to the area where she lost it and demonstrated hitting the volleyball, I was able to surprise her with the ring and give her a sigh of relief.

Lost Ring in Backyard

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was contacted by Dustin after he lost his ring. Dustin said his ring came off after tossing some muck from the pool skimmer over the railing behind his pool. He remembered hearing a sound like the ring hit the concrete. There were a few small trees and lots of underbrush to cover the ring. After I was shown the area I went to work working in sections. Almost 5 minutes later I found the ring.

Lost Phone during Marine Corps Mud Run

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

After running in the Marine Corp Mud Run I decided to go looking for any lost items that may have been dropped during the run. I happened to come along a lost phone with a debit card found in the lake. Unfortunately the phone was swollen and had already began to bust. I was able to remove the sim card and found it had a micro SD card as well. I put the sim card into my phone and was able to retrive a phone number. Four days had already elapsed and Emily had replaced her phone but was upset about all the pictures she had lost. I was able to get in touch with her and gave her the bad news about the phone but was hopeful about the Micro SD card since the sim card was good.

Lost Platinum ring in back yard

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

The other day I was contacted by Preston who lost his platinum wedding ring in his back yard 5 days ago while playing with his kids. When he realized it was gone and he went out and purchased a metal detector but was unable to find it. While searching the internet he came across the ring finders website and texted me for some assistance. I came out the very next day and searched for about two hours before I came across an 8 and 9 signal on the equinox 800. Surprisingly it was about 80% buried in the dirt. Im sure that was because we have had substantial rain fall in the past few weeks. Preston and his wife are incredibly happy I recovered his ring.

Missing sprinkler solenoids

I was contacted by John and asked if I could find some missing sprinkler solenoids in the ground. I wasnt sure exactly what he was looking for but I told him I would try. At some point previously homeowner had sod put down and most of the access covers were covered. There was one solenoid cover exposed that I was able to pick up a metalic signal with my detector. When I detected a similar reading I put a screwdriver into the dirt to confirm the plastic cover. I found all five missing solenoid in about 1 hour.

Lost ring in Sevierville, TN

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

Jimmy and his wife Lindsay were visiting from out of state and rented a cabin in Sevierville for their weekend getaway. Lindsay had set her ring down by the hot tub when their little 3 year old grabbed the ring and darted toward the field with grass 3 feet tall. Jimmy went straight out and bought a metal detector and spent hours looking but didn’t have any luck. Unfortunately they had to leave and headed home, at the same time I was on my vacation in VA. When I got the call I had Jimmy take as many photos as possible so i could reference it later on. I made a quick pit stop on my way home from our 8 hour drive but didnt have any luck. I came back the next day and exanded my search area and found it. I contacted Jimmy for a mailing address and sent it overnight, he and his wife were ecstatic. Its such a great feeling to help someone in their time of need.

Found Ring at Ocean View Beach VA

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was metal detecting at Ocean View Beach while on vacation. I was approached by a couple of local ladies who informed me one of them lost a ring about two weeks ago, I told them I would give it a shot. They said it could be anywhere in this general area, not a small area by any means. After no luck from the dry sand I moved to the water because low tide was going to start coming back up, with a little luck and lots of determination I found it in about 3 feet of water and was able to return it to Brittany.

Lost ring in Anderson County Park

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was contacted by Josh and Stephanie. They were visiting friends from out of town and went swimming at a local swimming hole at Anderson County Park. At some point Stephanie noticed her engagement ring was missing. I spent several hours snorkeling, looking for her ring with no luck. Josh and Stephanie had left town to go back home heart broken. I refused to give up, I came back two days later with scuba gear and found it in 15ft of water in the deepest part of the swim area. I cleaned the clay off her ring and mailed it to their home in Alabama.

That needle in the hay stack!

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was called out today to look for a gold ring that Mr. Harris lost. This ring used to be his Grandfather’s. His ring was lost while feeding his horses about 5 months ago in December and found in May. I only had to search for about 5 minutes and found it in the dirt just by the fence. I am truly glad I could find his family heirloom and bring closure.
