Finding a Bride’s Heirloom Earring in Calgary

Lost Earring in Calgary, Returned But Not As Expected

My sister called me. She lost her earring while playing archery tag during a staff team building activity. It was the earring purchased with a portion of Mom’s inheritance. We needed to get it back….And we did. Watch the video.

Ring Lost is a Calgary Lake……Recovered

It took a while but his ring was found……about 30 m from where they thought it was lost. I have underwater equipment to complete lake and river searches.

Courtney was playing fetch with her dog outside their hotel. She felt it go and he heard it bounce. After looking for an hour, they contacted me. I was able to get the ring back on her finger within the hour. Good timing too as they were leaving for home that same day. Watch the video on YouTube.

New to Calgary, She Hid Her Rings

Daylene has had a very difficult year. Lots of change and health scares led her to hide her rings in her newly purchased home. Months later and still having  significant stresses, she couldn’t locate the rings she tucked away earlier and now that was weighing on her as well. Daylene called me and we talked. In the end, we decided that a different perspective, some integrity and a little tenacity would go a long way to providing some relief.  She was right, we found the rings but not quite how she thought we would.

Had a call out from Mike. He had been working beside the house on a cold snowy day. When it happened, he felt it go and heard it hit. His ring was gone and he just couldn’t figure out where.  He could have waited until the snow melted, but having it back meant one less thing to be thinking about. So he called me and had it back in a very short time.

It happens all the time. Keys are dropped into the snow which instantly swallows them up. If it isn’t heard, they’re gone.  A metal detector works great in the snow. In this case, it took a while to get the coil above the keys, but once I did, it was pretty obvious.
