When I first lost my wedding ring I was devastated and spent hours searching for it with a friends, children’s metal detector. My mom found Evan with the Ring Finders online and as soon as we spoke he was actively trying to help me find it. He couldn’t come out immediately and talked about how important it was to find it quick! He first gave me all sorts of tips on how to rent an actual good metal detector and use it so I could look right away. When that didn’t work, he came out as soon as he could and it was clear that Evan was almost as invested in finding my ring as I was! After he went around the area the first time and didn’t find it, I gave up hope and thought that it was gone for good. I went back to work and got a call from Evan almost 2 hours later saying he found it in a spot that it was unlikely to be and deeper than we thought as well! As I said before, Evan was willing to help me out immediately and stayed way longer to do as thorough of a search as possible. I really appreciate him and hopefully I never lose any more jewelry but he would be my first call!

She called me. Quite sad that her wedding ring set was lost while playing soccer.  She had done everything she could to find it. After that she called me. Check out the video for the whole story and a great reaction. So appreciative.

Gold Ring Found in Calgary Park

  • from Calgary (Alberta, Canada)

It was a Friday and a wedding day photo shoot. At the end, the gift from his in-laws was gone, two hours after receiving it. It was in the grass but that is not a problem.   Watch the video for the whole story.

Ring found in Calgary Park

  • from Calgary (Alberta, Canada)

She called just after midnight. Rather distraught. I’m glad she did because I needed to be there IMMEDIATELY. The next morning I arrived at the park at sunrise and walked the path with him on Whats App. Before I could go back and get my equipment I spotted the ring on the path. Picked it up and hit the road to return it the same day.

Lost Ring found by Calgary Lake

  • from Calgary (Alberta, Canada)

It took a while to find but eventually we did. Not under the boardwalk but still above the ground. I spent a lot of time crawling around under the deck. One time being 6’4″ was not an advantage. Pretty sure I had exhausted the area, I stepped back and asked myself what other things could have happened. Then I spotted it. Sitting pretty on the joist supporting the deck. A quick snag and a lovely surprise moment full of tears of joy. Watch the video for the reaction.

Evan tried several times to find the rings but, unfortunately, there was no luck so I started to accept the fate and that we have lost them forever.
All of a sudden, Evan reached me out again saying that after making some calls, there was a slight chance to have found the rings so I could not believe it.
It turned out that someone, the day after rings were lost, turned them into Canmore Municipal Enforcement office. Evan connected me with them.  After a couple of verifications, we could confirm that, indeed, there were the rings we lost.
I was thrilled after hearing such news, but I decided not to tell my wife because I wanted to surprise her. She was so sad and so disappointed when she lost them that I knew she would be so excited when she found out.
I contacted a company to pick up the rings and bring them back to Spain and, after submitting a lot of documents to clear the items in customs, rings finally arrived.
When my wife came back from work that day I gave them the rings and, when she realized, her face changed in a blink of an eye. She was so happy and so excited that I was even moved. She felt somehow « guilty » for losing them and having the opportunity to recover the rings back I think it was a relief for her.
A beautiful end to a outstanding trip!
