Vanessa contacted me about a chain and pendant her grandson had lost at the beach earlier that day. They had left the beach, but she had an idea of where the loss occurred. I was able to go, assembled my equipment, and went.

When I arrived I met Vanessa, and we walked out to the area of the loss. She explained the the pendant was actually a mini urn with her grandson’s late father’s ashes inside, so it meant a great deal to recover this item. The area was stretched out over about 40 yards, so I began my search promptly. There was not a lot of trash metal, so the search went a bit quicker than usual. About halfway through the area I received a nice signal, dug and had a rectangular pendant in the scoop with chain attached. When I looked at it, it had a screw on the bottom, so I figured this was it. I showed Vanessa who confirmed the find, saying that her family would be forever grateful.

I received a text from David who was concerned that he had lost his ring while gardening in his back yard. We arranged a day and time for me to come and help him.

I got there a little late because of Los Angeles traffic, but not too bad. David met me at the gate to the yard, and took me back to explain what he believed caused the loss. It definitely sounded right to me. The area was on a slope with a lot of leaf and mulch coverage thick enough to hide a ring of any size. I began searching in the area he first showed me moving down the slope, and out of the box as well. About 5 minutes into the search I received a great signal, and put the pin pointer in for the final search. There was David’s ring. I came up with it, and he was happy and surprised to see it. This made his day, and mine as well!

Olivia called letting me know she had lost a bracelet in the sand at a private beach club while at a party the night before. There had been a lot of activity at the party, so she was unaware the bracelet was gone until later that night. We arranged a time to do the search, and she obtained permission for me to come and help her.

She took me to the area of the loss when I arrived, and showed me where she believed the bracelet might be. It was a good sized area that would have to be meticulously gone over with my detector. I worked a tight grid making sure I covered every inch of sand, but not find the bracelet. I then began to expand the search area when I got a good signal, dug, and had her bracelet. She was happy to have it back, and it made for a very productive day.

When Lucy called saying she had lost her earring on a State campus, I made sure she understood that she would have to get permission for me to come and do a search there. She told me that she had already taken care of that issue, so I left right away.

Lucy took me to the area of the loss which happened to be between two dorms, and behind one of them. I began my search in a fine grid pattern, pass by pass. Fortunately there was not a lot of metal in the grass, so the search wasn’t slowed down by constant stopping to check. I did the whole area between the buildings with no earring, then began on the area behind the dorm. As I was going along the edge of the sidewalk I got the silver tone I was looking for, pulled the pin pointer out, and found the earring. Lucy was surprised it ended up there, but was happy to have it back because the pair were a gift to her.

I received a call letting me know that Paul had lost his phone at the beach, and asked if I could help. They had remained in the area, so the chance of a recovery was high. I let him know I would come immediately.

When I got there the beach was crowded, so it took a few minutes to find him. Paul took me over to the site of the loss, and explained how he had been running in the sand when his phone came out of his pocket, and disappeared. There were people all around, and one would think the phone would have been seen going into the sand, but they searched for over an hour with no luck. I readied my machine, and within 3 minutes found his phone; they were mystified. I handed it back to him, and he was very happy. A great recovery.

Brook called me for help. She had been getting her beach materials ready to leave when with the flick of her wrist her ring was lost in the sand. She had searched diligently, yet was unable to find it. I was able to go to help, even though it was getting late.

When I arrived, it was dark, and we were the only ones on that lonely beach. She showed me the area where she had marked it, and in the light of my headlight, I was able to see where she had been searching. I began my search, and searched the whole area with no luck. She had never left the beach, so the ring had to still be there. It was time to expand the search, and about 10 feet away from the original area I got a good signal, dug, and had a very pretty ring in the scoop. I showed her and she was very happy because it had been given to her. When we walked up to the highway, I said I would walk her to her car. She told me she was going to call for an UBER, so because it was extremely dark there, and there are a lot of homeless in the area I let her know I would wait with her until the UBER came. Then she asked if I could take her to the Metro train depot in Santa Monica about 10 miles away, which I said I would be happy to do for her safety. Great smile!

Tray contacted me concerning his ring. He was on vacation from New York visiting a local beach,, when while goofing around, his ring came off, and was lost in the sand. I was available, and let him know I would come right away to do a search for him.

When I arrived I was able to get with Tray, and he showed me the area explaining what he had done to cause the loss. I turned on my detector, and within 5 minutes was able to reunite Tray with his ring which made his day because he was scheduled to return to New York withing a couple of hours. A close call, but happily resolved.

Wedding Band Lost from Beachchair Cupholder Found by Using a Metal Detector Service .. Newport Beach, CA.

Metal Detecting Service available to help you find your lost ring or jewelry in beach sand or grassy parks.. Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Irvine CA. .. call or text Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Jose and Ashley had been at Newport Beach, CA. for a relaxing on shoreline. They set up their beach chairs and  umbrella. During their day, Jose  put his gold wedding ring in the cupholder of the beach chair before going into the ocean. Most people don’t want to take a chance of losing a ring in the ocean, but they don’t think how easy a ring or jewelry dropped in the sand can also be impossible to find.

Well, this is what exactly happened to Jose. After he folded up his chair, his ring must have dropped in the sand. He had already walked off the beach and was at his car before realizing the ring was not in the pocket of the beach chair.

Returning to the location on the beach, his search was futile. Somebody that saw him digging in the sand told him about my metal detecting service.

Jose called me, waiting at the location. He couldn’t stay as they had a dinner reservation.

It took about an hour to locate the gold ring and Jose and Ashley met me the next day to pick up his ring.. A very nice couple and it was a pleasure to be able to help them..

It was around 5:30 PM, and my wife was preparing our dinner when I received a call from Chris. He had Just lost his wedding ring about 30 minutes ago while throwing a football to his friend, and was unable to find it. He was wondering if I would be able to help. I let him know that I could be there in about 30 -40 minutes to do the search so I asked my wife to put the meal on hold, and left for the beach to help Chris.

When I got there it didn’t take long to find them, and Chris’ buddy took me over to show me where the loss occurred. Chris came over to show me exactly what he had done to cause the loss. and I readied my equipment to begin the search. I searched the whole area in a tight grid with no results for his ring. I did find a ring though, and a couple of earrings, some coins and a lot of trash metal. I then worked out of the box, and widened the search area in order to cover any possibility; still no ring. I then told Chris I was going to do a cross grid in order to make sure that maybe the ring was turned in such a way, it wasn’t heard by my detector going in the other direction. After about 5 passes, I received a solid signal, dug and had his ring in the scoop. I brought it over to him to his surprise, and happiness. Sometimes a ring will go into the sand a such an angle that it is indiscernible going in one direction, you have to search at a right angle to the original direction to make the find. Just a little patience and determination is what it takes. It was about 8:00 PM when the recovery was made. So I got on the phone, and asked my wife to heat up our dinner, as I would be home soon. I am glad she is so understanding.

Judie called, seeming a little desperate, asking if I would be able to come and help her find her wedding ring. I let her know I was available, and would leave right away.

It took a while to find parking, but I was able to get to the area quickly. As soon as I got there her husband Rien found me, and led me to where the loss occurred. It amazed Judie and Rien that I was able to find the ring in just a few minutes, after they had spent an enormous amount of time looking for it. They had only been married for 5 months, so this loss was very important to find. I met some very nice people, and was able to allow them to sleep well that night!
