Lost Gold Ring w/Birthstones Found In Canton Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

In A Nutshell…….

……As Aadarshini was throwing nuts to the squirrels from the balcony, his Fathers family birthstone ring came off. I scanned the ground in a Squirrel-lock Holmes manner. Under my electronic metal magnifying device the ring revealed itself. As I lifted it from the ground and handed it to him I said…. It’s fur you!

Sentimental Ring lost in Kelowna.

Deeanna contacted  me to say that her husband had lost their first Wedding Anniversary ring. He was in their driveway removing some furniture from his truck to take indoors, once finished he noticed his anniversary ring was missing in the snow. I emailed Deeanna and set up a time when my visit would be good for her. Once there I first noticed lots of power lines in her driveway, Interference from them was a big issue. I turned down my sensitivity as low as I could, after an hour and only finding bottle caps, I increased my search area and found the ring up the driveway banking in the flower bed. Another happy lady.

Lost Gold Wedding Ring In Spokane Valley Wa….FOUND!!

  • from Spokane (Washington, United States)

Sherry was finishing up her day and had gone outside to start feeding the squirrels and birds. After grabbing all of the bags of food that she needed she made her way around her snow covered yard to each of the feeders. After finishing up this last chore Sherry made her way to the couch. Sitting there enjoying the last hours of the day Sherry had a startling feeling. Her ring was not on her finger. The search for Sherry’s ring begun. The ring wasn’t found anywhere in the house so Sherry and her husband Steve headed outside to look. Neither one of them saw the ring outside. So to the internet Steve went. He had the idea to search for a metal detector. Steve quickly realized he had no idea how to use a metal detector. Not to worry the internet showed Steve some YouTube videos from Chris Turner. Steve thought the Ring Finders looked promising. So that’s where I enter. With a few texts and a phone call I was set up to go to Steve’s house after work. I knew the back story of how the ring was lost so all I needed was to see the possible locations. Turning on my metal detector was problematic. It started looping on and off over and over. Good thing I had a back up detector. Oh yeah, and the fact that as I searched my way back to where the bird feed was kept, I spotted the ring sitting on top of the bark. With a huge grin I swung my metal detector over the ring and looked up. Steve and Sherry could tell I had found something special. They both headed over to me and Sherry quickly saw the ring she had lost. It was a little confusing as to how we all walked over the ring twice but sometimes swinging a metal detector focuses the eyes and finds lost rings. The snow and cold were at it again but nothing stops the passion of a Ring Finder looking for a lost ring.

Wedding ring found in snow, and returned to owner.

Jackie called and told me she lost her wedding ring in the snow after an evening of sledding at her sisters house. I arrived the next day and began my search. Due to her schedule, Jackie was unable to be there with me. After searching for about 20 min., I gave her a call to obtain some more information on the exact area she was sledding. After I spoke to her, I received a great hit on my Garrett ATPro under some ice. I had to use my shovel to break up the ice and then I found her ring. I sent her a text with a photo and she immediately called me and was so excited.

We made arrangements for her to drive to my house to get the ring back. I met her a few hours later and she told me they had bought a metal detector and searched for hours with no luck. If you have lost a ring or piece of jewelry, don’t waste the time and money trying to search with a cheap detector but call me at 610-207-8677 and allow me to find your lost item with my professional equipment.

Grand Rapids, Michigan ring recovered in snow

Jesse L. called me this morning after finding the Ring Finders on line. Jesse was shoveling his deck without gloves and after a few swipes he decided to put on gloves. A few minutes after coming into the house he discovered his new white gold wedding ring was missing. He figured it either came off while shoveling without gloves or when he finished and took off his gloves. After Jesse’s phone call to me I told him we (Dave Boyer my Ring Finder partner) could be there at 1 pm today. Once we got to  the house we went to work on the back deck. There was at least 8″ of snow so we weren’t too concerned about the nails in the deck because the ring would give off a different signal. After checking through all the snow on the deck we didn’t get a good signal. Dave started checking on the ground around the deck and I did too. I used my pin pointer in the deep snow after getting a good signal and the ring was recovered.

I knock on the slider and told Jesse « good news and bad news ». The bad, snow will be gone in the spring, the good, here is your ring. With a big smile and thank you he put his ring back on his finger.

Lost Platinum Wedding Band in Cottonwood Heights: Found

This was a fun one! Ryan reached out me while he was in Georgia on a trip. Right before he left, he was in a hurry to clear the recent snow from his driveway and sidewalks. He was at the end of the driveway when the snow blower got clogged and he went to clear the snow that was stuck inside. After cleaning out the clog, he heard the snow blower throw something that sounded unusual. After finishing up, he went back inside and noticed his platinum wedding band was missing. Thinking that the unusual sound from the snow blower was his ring, he went back to search around the mailbox area but nothing.

I went over to Ryan’s house while he was away in Georgia and got all the details via facetime. It was late but after searching the area in question, I didn’t find the ring. I started to expand the search area making sure to cover all areas where snow had been piled up from the snow blower. I was literally on my last few feet of the area when I finally got that unmistakable signal. His ring was was down almost a foot in the snow. I quickly sent Ryan a video and he could not believe where I had found it. He either had lost it earlier or the snow blower threw it about 35 feet from where he thought he lost it. I left the ring with his neighbor so Ryan could get it back as soon as he got home! All in all was a great recovery!
