I must say in all the years I have been a member of the Ring Finders group this callout gets the top marks in all categories.

Kerri called me yesterday regarding their dog Boomer.  On Boxing day 2017, while Kerri and Travis were visiting family in British Columbia, Boomer found his way into their  bedroom.  Kerri had placed her wedding ring,  engagement ring,  and gold necklace on the night table.   When she returned to the room she found Boomer chewing  on a box of Kleenex,   The ring and necklace was gone and Kerri found one ring on the floor on the other side of the room. Boomer is not your average dog,  he is 120 Lbs Bloodhound,  a big friendly giant.

Kerri was getting worried that the ring and chain was still inside Boomer and asked me if I could check to see if the rings was in him. I told her I could run my detector over him but it would not tell me what was in him and if there was something she would have to take him to the Vet! she also asked if I could scan the Poop bags she had collected over the past 10 days in his dog run I agreed to meet them this morning.

I arrived and met  Travis and Kerri and of course Boomer the Hound.  I scanned Boomer and found nothing,  so onto  the next task! The  Poop bags! On fourth bag my pro-pointer went off and I told Travis this could be something.   I told Kerri to get some hot water and a bucket so we could thaw the bag out and see what was in  there were the rings and neckless all in tack. Lucky for Boomer – no vet and lucky for Travis and Kerri, no bills!

This search will go down in History for me.

Thank you Travis & Kerri.

Received a call from Tamara this afternoon asking if I could help find her husband’s  titanium wedding ring which he lost in the snow last night? After asking Tamara a few questions I agreed to meet her within 45 minutes.

I arrived at the location and meet Tamara and her friend Kathie she showed me the area that the ring was lost Tamara said her husband was throwing snow on his vehicle windshield because he was out of washer fluid, he felt the ring slip off his finger?  after four hours looking and shoveling snow to one side he had no luck of finding his ring.

Tamara and Kathie spent another 45 minutes this afternoon looking in the pile of snow with no luck, Tamara then googled rent a metal detector, my name came up and called me,

I started to detect and area approximately 20′ x 30′ which I figured the ring would be? from the information I received from Tamara with no luck, then I move over to the pile of snow where her husband has shoveled the snow, that’s the spot the ring was found buried 4 inches in the snow.

I received a call from Nada this afternoon requesting my service to find her two rings which were lost while she was doing yard work on Monday,  however it was not until Tuesday that she realized  that her rings where not on her finger. I told her I would be there within one hour.

I met up with Nada at her home where she showed me the area she was working in the back yard.  She had been  pulling plants out of her flower pots and raised garden and was cleaning the back yard for the winter.

After asking Nada a lot of questions I started checking the flower pots and then couple of bags full of leaves with no luck.  I headed to her raised garden plot in the corner of her yard where I found the larger ring. The smaller ring proved much more difficult to find. I searched around the yard for another hour.  Nada was realizing that the ring was probably lost elsewhere but I told her not to give up yet.  She went in the house to warm up.

I continued searching and headed to another raised bed. There I heard a faint sound in my headphones.  The ring was covered in leaves! I called Nada over and told her it was her lucky day as both rings had been found.  She was very happy to have them back on her finger.

Thank you Nada in entrusting me to find your rings.

Lost Wedding Ring. In The County Of Ponoka. Hoadley, Alberta Canada

I received a call from Brandon last week asking me if I could find his white gold wedding ring in three feet tall grass. He had lost it while out scouting for a good hunting spot in the bush.  I told him if it was there I would find it.

We agreed to meet this morning and drove out to the spot out in the country, as we drove and got talking Brandon told me it was imperative that the ring was found as he had just been married a month ago.

I asked Brandon how he lost his ring he told me he was brushing the grass off his pants near his jeep when he felt the ring fly off his finger but he had no idea of the direction. For me it was a good clue and with past experience I knew the ring had to be close by.

When we arrived at the location Brandon said the whole terrain had changed stating that the grass was standing at the time he lost the ring, and now all the grass was laying down like a strong wind had blown the grass down or animals had trampled it down.  This made the search a little harder.

After about two hours of searching I heard a fantastic sound in my headphone.  There was his ring well hidden in the grass about ten feet from his Jeep.  I called Brandon over and the expression on his face said it all.  He could not believe his eyes. He was very happy to have his ring back on his finger.

Another happy client.

Thank you Brandon for calling me.

Danny called me this morning requesting my service to locate his keys and remote that he just lost while shoveling gravel in the basement of a new home and it was imperative that they where found before the cement truck came to pour the basement floor. I told Danny I would be there with in a half hour.

I met up with Danny at the house and he showed me the area that he was working in and that the keys could be six to eight inches down in the gravel. I told him no problem, I will find them after a few passes over the gravel.  I found his keys about four inches down. Danny was very happy that the keys where found as replacing them would have been very expensive,  along with a costly tow truck ride to the dealership.

Thank you Danny,  Another happy Client

Within five minutes of meeting David, I found his ring and he couldn’t believe that his ring flew that far from the area he was initially looking at.

David was very happy to have his ring back on his finger, thank you David.
