I received a call from Chris this morning around 8 am requesting my service to locate his lost wedding band. Chris had been throwing snow on his windshield to clean it when he heard a ping  hit the hood of his car.  He realized that it was his ring that had flown off his finger.  Chris and his wife looked for the ring but could not find it, and Chris told me he was about to give up on finding  it when someone contacted him and passed on my name.   He didn’t hesitate to call.

I met up with him around 9:30 am and within 10 minutes Chris had his ring back on his finger. That sure made his day.

Thank you Chris.

Received a call from Tamara this afternoon asking if I could help find her husband’s  titanium wedding ring which he lost in the snow last night? After asking Tamara a few questions I agreed to meet her within 45 minutes.

I arrived at the location and meet Tamara and her friend Kathie she showed me the area that the ring was lost Tamara said her husband was throwing snow on his vehicle windshield because he was out of washer fluid, he felt the ring slip off his finger?  after four hours looking and shoveling snow to one side he had no luck of finding his ring.

Tamara and Kathie spent another 45 minutes this afternoon looking in the pile of snow with no luck, Tamara then googled rent a metal detector, my name came up and called me,

I started to detect and area approximately 20′ x 30′ which I figured the ring would be? from the information I received from Tamara with no luck, then I move over to the pile of snow where her husband has shoveled the snow, that’s the spot the ring was found buried 4 inches in the snow.

Another happy client.

Thank you Tamara.

Peter called me yesterday to ask me if I could help him find his wedding ring.  He lost it in the back yard the previous evening while playing with his    dog.  He had fallen in the snow and felt his ring slip off his finger. Peter and his wife spent a couple of hours raking and pouring hot water to melt the snow but had no luck finding the ring.

I met up with Peter in his back yard and he showed me where he thought his ring should be. I searched that area as will as the surrounding area with no luck, only to find a bunch of roofing nails.   I stood back and analyzed the area where Peter fell and thought it either had to be in the neighbors yard or along the fence line.  I took out my pin pointer and searched along the bottom of the fence dragging my pin pointer underneath the boards and out popped the ring.

Another happy client, Thank you Peter for the generous reward.

Received a call from Kerry around 8:15 last evening wondering if it was possible for me to find his Lost Ring on the side of the Highway. He had marked the area he was stopped at good thinking Kerry. (makes my Job a lot easer when that happens)   He told me how he lost the ring he was helping a friend move some boxes to a storage locker one of the boxes fell off the truck and ended on the highway so he stopped picked the box up and place it in the truck then he removed his glove to check the rest of the boxes that’s when he felt his ring fell off his finger and ended in the ditch he spent a while looking for it before he called me .

I meet up with Kerry this morning around 8:10 am at the location – 13C (8.0) Fahrenheit  and 6 inches of snow It took me a couple of minutes to find his ring which made him a very happy man.

Once again another happy Client and thank you Kerry for the generous reward.

Received a call from Kylie at lunch time today, she had lost her truck keys in one of her client’s back yard. I meet up with Kylie at her client’s home @ 2:30 pm she showed me where in the back yard she thought they could have dropped out of her pocket, after about 10 minutes of searching in the snow with no luck, she then showed me another spot that they could be she told me that she was walking up the sidewalk and slipped on the ice but did not realize that the keys was missing until she got back to her truck and could not unlock the door, you could see where she had been looking in the snow for them after doing some detective work I realized the keys had to be in the middle of the front yard and bingo found the keys next to her foot print in about six inches of snow. Another Happy client thank you Kylie!

I received a call from Adam this afternoon asking if I could find his wife’s wedding and engagement rings.  Yesterday, she had fallen while getting out of the car. She had not been wearing any gloves and when she shook her hand to remove the snow her rings had flown off. I met up with Adam one hour after his call and he showed me where he had shoveled and brushed the snow to the side where he thought the rings might be. He had also used his old metal detector which he had from years ago but with no luck. I found both rings within two feet of where he thought the rings were.

Thank you, Adam & Erin for calling me, and for the generous reward.

Happy New Year to you both!

I received a call from Marlene on Christmas Eve asking if it was possible for me to find her Dad’s ring. 10 days ago he had been brushing the snow off his car with his bare hands when his ring flew off. I told her that if the ring was on the ground I would find it. She described the ring as gold, very large, and having much sentimental valve as it was a 35 year’s of service award from the automotive industry when her dad retired.

Today, Boxing Day morning, I meet Marlene at her condo complex and she showed me where her dad’s car had been parked that evening and also mentioned that he had been out looking for the ring a couple of times and had piled a mound of snow on the front lawn and that the ring could be there. I started my search and had Marlene move her vehicle from her parking spot so I could search that area. I found the ring where her car had been in about two inches of hard packed snow. When Marlene’s father arrived, I walked him over to where the ring was laying in the snow. The smile on his face was proof that this ring was very sentimental for him. He and his daughter were extremely pleased to have the ring back.  Although Aron declined to have his picture taken with his ring for our “book of smiles”, he did give permission to have his ring published. Thank you for entrusting me and “The Ring Finders”. Happy New Year!

I received a call this morning from Warren. Yesterday, he had lost his month old wedding ring in a farmer’s wheat field while working on a combine. When he was finished he removed his glove and noticed that his ring was gone. He and his coworkers looked around for it without success. When he returned to his hotel room he decided to do a Google search for a metal detector to rent and he came across The Ring Finders and found me. I agreed to meet Warren in Westlock and we drove to the location that he had lost his ring.  After one and a half hours of searching we found the ring in amongst the wheat stubble, as you can see in the picture Warren was one happy guy to have his ring back on his finger. Thanks Warren for intrusting me to find your lost ring.

Wow, talk about the old saying “Like trying to find a needle in a hay stack”. That’s the task I had today!
