Lost Caduceus Ring in the Ocean, Harvey Cedars NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper NJ Ring Finders

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)

Trish called and said she was at the beach with her son Shawn, his ring slipped off his finger in shoulder deep water. It was a large med school ring that I figured wouldn’t travel to far due to its size. She gave me all the details and that she also spoke to the lifeguards, and they were going to keep an eye open for it.  Luckily we have had very light breezes, and a pretty calm surf for New Jersey.  We arranged to meet at the next low tide, and that’s where I started, right at the waters edge.  After one pass I went right into the trough, it wasn’t easy working there with the waves breaking, and the strong moon current pulling. I only worked a small area because the life guards had pointed to the spot they were standing when the ring slipped off. I got a nice strong signal and prayed it wasn’t a penny, knowing the ring was quite large, and would signal the same. With a few small shakes to clear the sand I felt klunk, klunk, and was almost certain it was the ring, YES!!!!!!! it was. This ring is extremely special, Shawn’s dad had given it to him for his Med School graduation, and unfortunately he passed  last year.

Lost Wedding Ring on the beach, Point Pleasant Beach NJ, Recovered by Edward Trapper NJ Ring Finder

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)

Marta called and said her husband Travis had just lost his wedding ring in the sand. They were at the volley ball courts in Point Pleasant Beach when it flew off. We made arrangements to meet on court 18, I also had her request to shut down that one court so the ring wouldn’t go any deeper. When I arrived Travis showed me where he thought it had came off, and in just a few swings the ring was in the scoop. It took longer to find the court they were on than the recovery itself. I love the expressions when an item is returned.

Lost Ring OB III Lavallette NJ found by Edward Trapper NJ Ring Finder

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)
I was tagged in a post about a lost ring at OB III Lavallette NJ over Memorial Day weekend. A few people had searched for the ring with no luck. I knew the general area it was lost, from the information I was given. Trevor had placed the ring in the chair pocket, applied some sun block, and shortly later fell asleep to the sounds of the surf hitting the beach. When he woke up he folded up the chair and forgot the ring was in the chair pocket. With that said I knew the location would be different than where he set up for the day at the beach. About a week later I went to do the recovery, and 20 min. later the ring was in the scoop. Trevor and I finally were able to make arrangements for him to pick up the ring, and now its back on back on his finger as I am writing this.

Bayville NJ Lost wedding band in the grass Recovered by Edward Trapper NJ Ring Finder September 29 2022

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)
Mary sent me a message about a lost wedding band. She explained that her husband Kyle was washing the cars and his wedding ring had disappeared. He searched the cars, flower beds by the hose, and all around in the grass. They even tried with a metal detector and had no luck. I arranged to meet at the house after work the next day. After talking with Kyle about where the ring could possibly be, he went inside and told me to just ring the bell. He barley had closed the door when my machine gave a tone that was without a doubt his ring. I rang the bell and the look on his face was priceless. Later on after the recovery I found out Kyle and I share the same birthday, Happy Birthday Kyle, this was a great day for sure.

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)
Got a call from Camille Saturday evening. She had lost her bangle bracelet, but wasn’t sure where. She did have a picture from the night before, which was taken on Brant Beach (LBI) NJ. We figured that was a good place to start. They marked the location in google maps and sent it to me. I arrived at the beach ASAP and after about 1 1/2 hrs. I had no luck finding it. She came down to look where I had been, and we made a few adjustments to the search location. Within 15 min. I had one half of this beautiful Cartier love bracelet in my scoop, and about 10 min later both half’s were safely in my pouch. I walked up to the house to meet her, and told her she wasn’t in the spot she believed she was. With that said, Camille looked down and said, « I guess you had no luck ». I replied, « you were 10′ over » and handed her the bracelet. What a weekend, her birthday was Saturday, her lost bracelet was found, and today her grandson is expected to arrive!!!!!!!!!.

The look on her face was priceless. She was by far the youngest person I have had call, and my gosh, so professional, and determined.

WELL, while cleaning off the sand I dropped it and had to find it again. Much to my surprise, it was 7-8″ down. Just shows you how deep they can go.

Got a call from Jennifer about her lost ring in the sand. She took it off and put it on her chair, then got sidetracked. They searched for hours with no luck, even using a metal detector. Then she contacted me. With just a few passes I got a nice tone, sure enough it was her ring. Platinum rings give off a very low signal, that’s why you need a professional to find them.

Lost wedding band, East Brunswick, NJ February 2022

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)

I saw and add on a lost ring site that somebody had lost their wedding band while walking in a park. The add had all the pertinent information of the exact area it was lost. I quickly messaged Michelle explaining that she should just post the generic information due to the fact that unfortunately many people are dishonest, and may possibly go locate it and never return it to her. I also forwarded my ring finders link and told her if she needed help give me a shout. She liked my up front approach and honesty, so we arranged to meet at the park. we went over all the details, an while i was searching alongside the path, she walked with me to show exactly where she was. Unfortunately I had no luck, so I told her where to search in her car, post some flyers around spots she had went, an MOST importantly, do not through out her trash, but go home and dump it out and sift through it very carefully. 2 days later she messaged me in total shock, YES she found it stuck to a box. Although I did not locate it with my machine, I positively, with my knowledge in lost rings and jewelry, get 100% credit for her finding her beautiful platinum/diamond ring.
