Zack called me requesting my service to locate his wife’s (Brooke) wedding ring lost just off the boat launch in Skeleton Lake.

After asking Zack a few questions I agreed to head out to Skeleton Lake approximately 160km NE of Edmonton.

I meet Brooke at the lake and she showed me the approximately area that her ring slipped off her finger. It was roughly 40 feet from the shore line in 4.5 feet of water! Brooke told me they had bought a metal detector and had searched for a few hours with no luck at all.

After about 1.5 hrs searching the sandy gravel bottom of the lake I finely received the sound that I was searching for from my detector. I used my scoop and scooped Brooke’s ring from the bottom of the lake where it had been for the past 24 hours!

I called Brooke over and asked her to look in the scoop! The look on her face was indescribable and she had tears of joy to have her ring back on her finger.

Thank you Brooke and Zack for allowing me to retrieve your wedding ring from the bottom of Skeleton Lake.

Blake called requesting my service to find his wedding band lost while he was cleaning and picking up garbage around his church yard.
I agreed to meet Blake at the church when I got there he showed me the location where he felt his ring could be, he was around a community garden plot picking garbage and cleaning up the yard then he tells me he put the garbage in bags and dumped them in the dumpster.
My gut feeling was that the ring was in the dumpster! I suggested to Blake to go into the dumpster and remove all the bags and spread them out so I would be able to scan each bag;  while inside the dumpster Blake found his ring lying at the bottom of the bin which made his day.
Thank you Blake for reaching out to me once again to locate his ring, I had done a successful search for Blake back in 2014 he had remembered me and the service I provide.

Sherry called me to ask if it was possible to retrieve her blue sapphire ring from her burnt out home in north Edmonton. I told her it was possible as long as the house was still standing and not reduced to rubble.  Sherry told me the roof was gone but her bedroom was full of insulation and water damage her ring had been on the dresser but she could not find it anywhere.  She also informed me that someone had looted her home and got away with some valuables. I agreed to do a search for Sherry to put her mind at rest and give her closure.  Sherry told me that she had this ring in her possession for 47 years and would like to have it back before the house was demolished and rebuilt.

I searched her bedroom and within 10 minute found the ring in perfect condition.  Sherry could not believe that I had found her ring in all that rubble – a happy client!

Braden called me this moring requesting my service to find his 10k gold ring which he had just lost while at a bus stop. Braden told me he reached in his pocket to retrieve his bus pass and felt his ring slip off his finger.  Edmonton  had received 4 inches of snowfall  over night and I knew that the transit department sweeps the snow around the shelters shortly after. I asked Braden if it was cleaned and luckily it was not. I told Braden I would be there within the hour.
I met Braden at the bus stop and asked him to show me how he lost his ring so he took his had out of his pocket and said he felt the ring fly to the back of him into the snow bank.  I could see where he had been searching and with experience I had a feeling his ring had ended on the road so I began my search on the road. Bingo within five minute I had his ring back on his finger.
Thank you Braden for calling me.

10k White Gold Diamond Ring Lost! Back Alley Wainwright, Alberta, Canada

Branden called me yesterday afternoon around 3pm asking if I could locate his girlfriend’s ring which she had lost in the back alley the night before. Alberta has been under an extreme cold weather warning for the past 12 days and the temperature in Wainwright was -31 with a windshield making it feel like -40C. Wainwright is a 2.5 hrs. drive east of my home base. After asking Branden a few questions and realizing how sentimental the ring was to him I agreed to drive out and do the search.

I arrived at 6pm and met up with Branden and Selina in the back alley. I asked Selina to show me exactly what she was doing when she lost her ring. Selina told me she reached into her car to take a block heater cord out to plug her car in for the evening and as she was doing so she felt her ring slip off from her finger and into the snow.
They both searched desperately for hours for the ring and even piled the snow in buckets and brought them into the house for the snow to melt but had no luck.

Branden had a metal detector and checked the area, but again had no luck, so decided to do a Google search for a better detector and found the Ringfinders website. He checked the directory and found my blog page, He was very impressed with my returned finds and called me.
I spent 2.5 hours with Branden in the extreme cold weather in the back alley searching all possible areas with no luck and by this time Branden was giving up on the search. After again listening to Selina’s story, I recalled a similar situation where a ring had ended up behind the person when they thought the ring had gone forward.

I searched six feet back from where Selina said the ring could be and received a very low tone. I told Branden that this must be the ring.
There, buried 3” deep in the hard packed snow was the ring! Branden could not believe his eyes and the smile on Selina’s face said it all.
Thank you for entrusting me to locate your very precious ring.
