I got a call from a very distressed husband . His wife was very upset that she lost 2 rings in the sand . I rushed to the rescue. I got to the beach and it was a two ring find . very quick a one scoop two ring find on surfside miami beach Florida. The couple was so thankful that their loss was resolved so quickly.

It was a rough search . I arrived at high tide, and the seaweed made the search impossible. but as the high tide went out the seaweed cleared. And over 5 hours I finally found the ring right where he said it was.
10 Years Age Progression
A huge amount of people worldwide go missing each year, but it’s always great when you read about a missing person being found, even tho you may or may not be the family members or friend of the missing person, today’s media coverage let’s you be right there with the details of whats going on, much more personal than before the internet.
Even tho an inanimate object like a ring is not a living person, when a piece of jewelry goes missing, the sentimental and emotional feelings a person has about that and the person whom it belonged to can take on the feelings of it being a living thing.
The story of this missing ring started ten yrs ago when the pictured lady’s husband was mowing grass and it came off. They searched off and on to no avail and her husband passed away a few yrs later. Late Nov. of 2018 I got in touch with her and went out to search only to find frozen ground. She wasn’t quite sure of the metal type either white gold or silver. She had an old picture of it when it was new (1st pic) and I thought ok well I will look for both metal ID’s and ignore everything else. It has 4 small diamonds on it and I thought it was white gold cos’ not too many people put diamonds in silver settings but there are some that do. I took some notes on signals I got and we decided to search again in the spring. Today I grid searched the area where she remembered him saying he was when the ring came off. I had to clear quite a bit of junk to get thru as I wasn’t sure how far down the ring may have settled over the years but I did have a number I was looking for on the MXT from past searches. The soil was black as coal and silty but the ground was damp and easy to dig. As I swept the coil I got a repeatable, sharp and short signal +12 with a reading about 3″ deep and decided to dig. As I was pinpointing, the signal kept saying I’m here plz find me! Moving dirt to the side of the hole I saw a silver object with nice contrast against the soil shining back at me happily that it was soon to be free from it’s entombment.
I waved for her to come to the back and I have never seen a person run so fast! She looked down into the hole and pulled the ring from the earth and looked at me and no words were needed as to how thrilled she was! So after 10yrs the rings rhodium coating got dulled a bit as can be seen in the pics, but other than that it was in great shape. As I was packing and cleaning my gear it was nice to listen to her call her friends and family members announcing that the spirit of this very sentimental ring and family member was reunited with it’s loving family…..back where it belonged!

Alley OOPS!
During halftime Saturday between Michigan and Michigan State the pictured man and his children hit their backyard court for some 2 on 2 hoopin’ and during the excitement as he caught the passed ball with feet up off the ground to slam dunk his tungsten palladium ring flew off.
Minutes were ticking away before the second half of the real game was back on and as he sat down he noticed the ring missing. So for a couple days he reenacted what was going on and couldn’t find the ring. Part of the trajectory they thought put the ring out into the road area and a grass island.
They even raked up last Octobers leaves and still no ring. When I talked with him Tuesday night we agreed to meet today and go over the area with my metal detector. He was at work and was going to be on his way so a relative and I went over where they thought the ring could be. It didn’t take me long to sweep the area in question with my bigfoot coil but nothing came up. The relative went back into the house for a few while I thought out a new strategy. Since I covered where they thought it could be I thought maybe someone saw it in the street and walked off with it. But my feeling was to check back behind the net and wood privacy fence. As I did a grid search I was running out of ground when suddenly about 10 feet from the back of the net I got a nice +47 signal and I knew from past tungsten ring finds this had to be it! Firing up the Garrett carrot and running it over the grass I got a nice vibration and sifting thru the grass and leaves revealed this stunning tungsten and palladium ring! I texted him the pic as he was already on the road coming home and was super thrilled! So even tho their team didn’t get the win, we had a real win on the home court…turning March Madness to March Gladness!

White gold and diamond ring was lost while tending to the flower beds in the back yard. The couple had bought a metal detector to search for it themselves with no luck. After looking for it for around two weeks, they found me on www.theringfinders.com . Since the location was close for me I headed over there immediately. I found the ring in less than 30 minutes buried in the grass just outside of one of the flower beds.
Boom Boom Out Went The Lights!
Last Tuesday half of this nice lady’s engagement ring came off when the power went out, she had been doing laundry, dishes and was scrambling around the main floor of the house, and by time she was able to grab her cell phone for some light she noticed it was missing. After lighting some candles and regaining her composure, her and the fiancée started to look around some but to no avail. Add to this 2 cats and a really cool pit bull that likes to scoop things up off the floor. She thought maybe the ring came off in the bedroom closet as this was the last place she was before the lights went out. When I got there today, their thoughts were that the dog swallowed it. We had the other half of the ring so I got a read on that and scanned the dog and got a signal but they informed me that it was a microchip. So with no other signals on the dog I searched the yard area where he does his business and nothing showed up. Back into the house we went and I got out my dowsing rod and started to search in the bedroom. I treat all indoor searches like a crime scene and any signal from the dowsing rod gets investigated, meaning drawers getting dumped out, cabinets emptied, clothes pockets search, furniture moved, washers/dryers emptied, trash bags searched, whatever needs to get pilfered thru ect.
Just to be safe the fiancée took the dog to the vet for an x-ray which came back negative. Sweeping the dowsing rod I got some signals which produced other objects of value but not the ring. We went to the kitchen next and I swept the rod to cover the main floor and got a lock towards the living room, pointing towards one of the sofa’s…very strange she thought cus she didn’t remember being in there. When we got to the living room I saw a bowl of coins and thought maybe that’s what the dowsing rod reacted to even tho that’s not what I had in my mind during the dowse. We decided to search the cushions and behind the pillows, no luck until the sofa was moved and there this beautiful white gold and diamonds ring was just under the sofa on the wood floor! They were very happy and couldn’t believe they found it and how the ring got there. She vaguely remembers being in there and reaching down for a lighter, the ring must have come off then and she didn’t hear it hit the sofa/floor or one of the pets saw it and pushed it under the sofa. So, the ring found, lights back on, pets safe, happy couple, happy treasure hunter!

Sushi Gold!
This pretty, young lady was hosting a huge sushi lunch party yesterday and her engagement ring came off. When we talked she said she usually keeps her ring on her desk when using the ladies room and thought she had it on at the start of the luncheon. I suggested that before I get there that she and her co workers save all the trash bags that were used that day.
When I got on site today there were 4 bags of trash. I decided to start there. I didn’t want to sift thru all 4 bags and the MXT would have a problem working indoors, but I did have my Garrett carrot ready. So getting my dowsing rod out and sweeping the rod towards the bags revealed a lock on one of them. We played the shell game with the bags and the dowsing rod still favored the same one. So she went back to her office and I started to go thru the bag, removing metal drink containers and foil. I was contemplating dumping all the contents out onto another few bags on the floor but instead I held the bag up and scanned with the pin pointer and got a signal. Opening the bag back up I probed again and sifting around revealed her beautiful 18k rose gold ring at the bottom of the bag! I texted her a pic of the ring in the bag and while a few moments went by as I was cleaning up the mess I heard her feet running across the office and when she rounded the corner with her phone in hand smiling ear to ear with excitement she exclaimed you found it! I said yes look! I couldn’t let her reach down into the trash so I pulled it up and she could not believe that it was found! We went back into the kitchen area to clean the ring and eat some sushi, my first time having it!….
…..and I have to say that I not only love gold, but Sushi!

(March 2, 2019) While vacationing with her husband and family from Minnesota and spending the afternoon at a nice sunny Florida beach, Nicole discovered that her rose gold diamond wedding engagement ring she’d carefully hidden in a secure location was missing. Platinum 911!
Just got back from a night search for this very nice, pictured couple. They were at the hospital tonight visiting an ill loved one and walking back to the car she pulled her gloves off and 2 pieces of her 3 piece ring came off in about 4″-5″ of snow that came down yesterday. They found the main piece and when I got on site they had been searching thru the snow with gloved hands and flashlights for the thinner ring. There was some lights but seeing was more enhanced by the big snow supermoon shining from above giving the glistening snow a sparkly surface. She had the matching ring so I took a read with the MXT from different directions and got +6 and +8. I started to scan and grid at 90 deg swings in the trajectory from where she was standing and where they found the other matching ring. She had gone to the car to double check if the ring was in there and him and I kept searching.
I got a few iron and foil signals and after a few minutes I got a +6 and +8 but very short signals. Probing the snow with the Garrett carrot revealed this beautiful thin platinum band tipped at a 45 deg angle just as she got into the car. I said I got it and he yelled to her and we waved our hands and arms in the air to get her attention. She excitedly ran back to us and happily grasped the ring and quickly put it back on! The temporary loss of the sentimental ring, the excitement of the search and quick recovery got our heart rates up really high but now 3 beating hearts are all back in the normal range again!
