This search began when Ronaldo called me asking if I could help him find his lost gold chain and medallion. Apparently while working at a neighbors house his chain was getting in the way of his bending over while putting an electric line in a ditch and he was concerned it would fall off or get damaged so he removed his chain and set it on the back bumper of his truck…thinking he would retrieve it later before driving his truck. BUT…you guessed it…he plumb forgot and drove his truck just a very short distance and all of a sudden he remembered his chain and when he stopped and checked his bumper…his precious chain was gone! He immediately returned to his neighbors yard thinking it must have fallen off into the grass but he walked for an hour looking and just could not find his lost gold chain anywhere. He even searched the road where he drove and nothing! When I arrived I began searching the thick grass and after an hour I too came up empty handed. Ronaldo was quite shaken and as we talked I encouraged him that if it was there I felt very confident we could find it and mentioned to again check the road where he drove and wouldn’t you know it…his chain was actually still just laying in the middle of the road in plain sight and had been run over at least once because the medallion was a bit bent and slightly scratched up but all in all his lost gold chain was in one piece! Ronaldo was ecstatic and thanked me over and over for coming out and helping him find his sentimental lost gold chain! What an honor it is for me to be able to help those in need of this unique and specialized service. I received a frantic call from Darryl while he was actually standing in the ocean in front of a popular beach hotel! He went on to explain how his wife had lost her diamond engagement ring in knee deep water and he needed someone with a metal detector right away! It was a good one hour drive for me so I gave Darryl a local Ring Finders number and told him I would be praying that he could get the help he needed. Later that evening I texted Darryl to see if his wife’s lost diamond ring was recovered but it was not. According to the time that the ring was lost the tide was coming up and was getting close to high tide and the tide chart indicated that the next low tide was at 2:30 am the next morning and I figured that that would be the best optimal time to do a thorough search. I decided to text my friend, the local Ring Finder and ask if he would mind if I could go out in the middle of the night and look for Darryl’s wife’s lost diamond ring. There was an absolutely beautiful full moon and Darryl had given me very clear directions about where they were in the surf when she dropped her ring…like straight from the stairs behind the hotel leading down onto the sand. So I set out my flags and began a tight grid search pattern while using my long handled scoop to drag behind me marking the area I had covered. It only took 15 minutes to get the exact signal I was looking for and since the ring was lost only 7 hours earlier I decided to carefully scrape the hard packed sand away and two inches down there was the beautiful lost diamond ring that I was looking for! When I texted Darryl the good news it only took a matter of minutes for him to come running down onto the moonlit beach to see first hand his wife’s diamond ring…something he was sure he would never see again!

Lost heirloom yellow gold chain in pond at Ft. Pierce Florida…Found and returned to owner!

This lost gold chain recovery began when I received a call from Max asking me if I could help him find his very sentimental and cherished gold chain in a small pond. He explained how he was at a friends place and they all decided to jump off the end of a dock into 7 feet of water and Max figured he would do a back flip. Knowing that his gold chain was long enough to come off over his head he deliberately held his hand by the side of his head to sort of catch or stop the chain from coming off…but in this case it did not work. Max felt his chain come off and it caught on his little finger and disappeared into the water and sank into the silty bottom of the pond. He knew it had to be real close to where he jumped in and he decided to buy a cheap hand held metal detector/pinpointer and tried his best to locate his lost gold chain and after a few attempts he decided to look online for more help. A few days later I met Max and armed with my 6 inch hand held Nokta Pulse Dive Scuba Detector and handy Blu3 Nemo dive system I jumped into the water and began carefully searching the target area. I found a number of items like sissors, a BB gun pistol, a ratchet strap, etc…before my fingers wrapped around a chain like object and as I cleaned the silt away I could see Max’s lost gold chain! Again I was reminded just how good GOD is to give me the opportunity and know how to help people find their lost treasures! What a privilege and blessing…and Max was super thrilled to see his special heirloom gold chain…a gift that was given to him by his father 5 years ago and the one that he hopes to wear the rest of his life!

Joshua called me to see about how to find his wife’s lost gold ring in his brother-in-law’s front yard. I asked a few questions about how it was lost and when it happened and from his answers I could pretty much tell that the possibilities were high of being able to find her lost gold ring. When I arrived it was pouring rain and as I donned my boots and rain coat and grabbed my water proof Garrett AT Max metal detector I asked God to help me find Joshua’s wife’s lost gold ring. Joshua was watching me from the cover of the garage and I began my normal tight overlapping grid search of the area where his wife had dropped her ring. Fifteen minutes later my metal detector sounded off with the distinct shallow signal with the exact numbers and as I looked down I could see the clear outline of a small gold ring in the wet grass. I called Joshua to come have a look and then corrected my sentence to « Just wait there…I have something to show you! » Joshua had searched the area well with a cheap metal detector but in the end I was honored to be able to help him and his wife find their lost gold ring!

I received a call from Dylan asking if I was available to help locate a very sentimental gold ear ring lost during a car accident along the Florida Turnpike near the Ocala Florida area. Dylan’s girlfriend had been given these special ear rings years ago and was desperate to find the missing ear ring. During the accident the air bags went off and the trauma somehow caused her to lose one of them. My first attempt was to search the entire area where the car came to a stop in the grassy center median. And as you know these areas are just covered with all sorts of metal objects…so it took a few hours to check every signal that was shallow and that rang up in the general gold numbers. My search came up unsuccessful so I determined I really needed to search the vehicle next but it had been towed to a local insurance auto auction lot and was not available for me to search without the proper permission. So I assured Dylan that I would conduct a search of the vehicle when I had opportunity and when the paper work was complete. Fast forward 50 days…I received another lost ring search only minutes away from where Dylan’s car was being held and I made plans to stop by and do a thorough search of the wrecked car. And it was a good thing because the car was in the process of being sent to auction only days later. A quick search of the cars interior and the lost gold ear ring was found…way under the drivers seat. Dylan and his girl friend were just thrilled to hear the good news and drove a couple of hours to retrieve her precious lost gold ear ring that held such sentimental value! And what a thrill it was to hand it over to her and see the joy and relief on her face. God truly is good in allowing me to be a blessing and encouragement to this dear young couple.

Amberly texted me to ask if I was available to find a lost cochlear implant that belonged to her son. Apparently while taking pictures at the Boondock Restaurant in Port Orange Florida her son’s cochlear implant fell into the inter coastal water right where everyone feeds the local catfish! Amberly’s husband climbed down into the water and tried dragging a fishing net along the bottom but after an hour or so he gave up and it was decided that they needed specialized help in order to find their lost cochlear implant. So the next morning I gathered all my gear and headed over to the Ponce Inlet area and met Amberly and her family. It was not an ideal place to do a water search as the area was full of sharp objects like oyster shells and barnacles and even hungry cat fish and so I opted to use my large Magnatar magnet and by leaning over the rail I was able to lower my magnet into the water and slowly bob it back and forth. Ideally the lost cochlear implant should have been directly below where it fell but because a fishing net was dragged over the area it obviously got moved further out into the water. So after 30 minutes or so I found exactly what I was looking for…Amberly’s son’s lost cochlear implant! And my prayer was…Thank you GOD for allowing me to be used to help Amberly and her family in their time of need!!!

Charles and his wife were relaxing on their dock enjoying the cool breeze when all of a sudden the unthinkable happened. Charles’s wife dropped her special bracelet and it fell directly through a small crack and disappeared into the water below. Charles thought of trying to retrieve it but knew that the water was around four feet deep and the bottom was rather silty and full of various sorts of debris and he knew it would not be easy. So the next day he went online and found my information and I agreed to help him recover his wife’s lost gold bracelet. As I arrived and got suited up I asked God to lead me and help me find and retrieve this special lost gold bracelet and it only took 5 minutes or so and Charles was so happy and delighted to have in his hands his special gift that he had given to his wife just a few months earlier.

Lost gold ring out of car window, Leesburg Florida Recovered along side of road by Ring Finders service.

Solomon called me about a lost ring along a busy road over in the Leesburg area and he wanted to know if there was some way I could help him. He said it dropped out of his car window while he was rolling it down and getting ready to throw a little something out. I was a bit confused because many times people throw their rings out of moving cars but in this case it simple dropped off of his finger and he could not find it anywhere and that is why he called me. There was no exact address along the road so he sent me the pin and two hours later we met along the road, parked just ahead of where he was when his ring fell out of his window. I asked Solomon, whose name means « Man of peace », to join me inside my vehicle in the AC so I could ask a few more specific questions and to think about the best way to begin searching for his lost gold ring. As I sat in the car I observed the section of roadway and noticed it was a long curve in the road going to the right and the pavement/asphalt was slanted a fair bit. Solomon had searched in the roadway itself and the other side of the road and had not even thought of looking on the downhill side, which I assured him that a dropped ring would naturally follow his vehicle a short ways and then gravity would push it to the right shoulder. We put on bright yellow and orange vests and I recommended we just walk slowly and search with our eyes before I use my metal detector. We walked maybe 60 feet or so and BOOM…there was Solomons lost gold ring…just laying in the sparse grass! Solomon was shocked and happy and thrilled to see his ring and told me he will not wear it on his pinky finger anymore but will get it resized so it fits properly on his wedding finger. Again I always pray before and after each and every search and I thank God for giving me wisdom and putting me in a position to help people and be a blessing in any way I can.

Wedding ring lost in swimming pool, Orlando Florida recovered by Mike McInroe Florida Ring Finder.

I received a late night call from Raymond asking if I would possibly be able to help him find his lost wedding ring on the bottom of a rather large swimming pool in a downtown Orlando Hotel. It was late at night but I asked if he was sure that he lost it in the pool and if he could get permission for me to conduct a scuba dive after hours! If he said yes to those two questions then I would agree to make the drive down and help him out. He called back right away and said yes to those two questions…so about 11:30pm I packed up my gear and drove down to meet Raymond and his wife who were anxiously awaiting me at the front desk. It was the perfect dive scenario so I set up my BLU3 NEMO Portable Dive System, donned my wet suit, my fins, mask, weight belt and grabbed my underwater dive light and entered the pool at the shallow end and swam along the bottom scanning my powerful light just an inch or so off of the bottom and slowly covered the whole pool. And then right in the darkest corner of the deepest end I saw a glint of gold and swam towards it hoping that it was Raymonds lost wedding ring and sure enough! Turned out to be a really easy and enjoyable search and recovery and even though I got home super late…it was a real pleasure to be able to help Raymond and his wife!

I received a call from Jeff asking about theringfinders service and if I was available to help his brother and sister in law look for a very special ring lost in the ocean. I was super busy that day so I gave them Mr Edward Duffey’s number and he and a friend went out at the next low tide to look for their lost ring…but were unsuccessful! The next day my wife, daughter and grandson wanted to go to the beach so I opted to head out as well only a bit further north…right where Nick and his wife were swimming when their ring was lost. I arrived right at low tide and after talking to Nick I set out my flags and began searching the wet sand and out into the water. I had forgotten to ask what sort of ring or rings I was looking for and about 35 minutes into my search I got a good solid signal about knee deep and there in my scoop was a beautiful gold ring with a fairly large diamond and I could only imagine that this was the one that was lost. And since I had plenty of time and daylight I decided to continue searching. About 10 later I got another solid signal, knee deep in the surf, and again I spotted another gold ring in my Xtreme Scoop…a thinner wedding ring. A few minutes later Nick’s mother in law came walking down the beach towards me and I politely asked if she was the one who lost a ring…and she said no…it was my daughter. So I asked about the ring and as soon as I heard the description and that there were two rings that were lost I said, « Well I have found a couple of rings »…and that got her attention big time! When I pulled out the large diamond engagement ring she could not believe it and she started yelling and jumping up and down. I said wait a minute…I have another ring here as well and then she came unglued!! Jumping and waiving her arms, yelling and crying and then she started running up the beach towards the house. Then I saw Nick and his wife come running down to meet her and they began hugging and crying…it was absolutely amazing to watch the joy and sheer delight that they were experiencing. I couldn’t help but thank God for allowing me to be a blessing to this young couple and to find their lost rings!
