Beautiful Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Wilmington, DE!!!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Dan found me in the Ring Finders Directory after losing his wedding band Thanksgiving weekend. He was enjoying the holiday at his home in Wilmington, DE when his ring came up missing. After thoroughly searching the inside of his house he reached out to me Sunday and I made arrangements to meet him that same day. When I got there he shared that he thought the ring most likely flew off his finger while he was tossing around a football with the kids in the side yard of his home. The side yard is about 1/8 of an acre and he told me he was playing football mostly toward right/middle…so as I always do I started my search in the most likely area. A ring on the surface has a very unique signature….so while I was getting quite a few signals I was hyper focused on a very unique signal…It didn’t take long…3-5 minutes into the search…BOOM….there was the signal I was looking for. I looked down…and there was his beautiful gold ring! He had gone back inside so I think he was a little surprised to hear me knocking on his door 3 minutes later!!! He and his wife were quite joyous to have his ring back on his finger!  I was very happy to be able to come through and return his ring to him!!!

Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Newark, DE!!!

Zac contacted me via text message Wed night after finding me in the Ring Finders Directory. That evening he was on the street in his front of his house in Newark, DE…he picked up a stick and went to throw it and he saw and felt his gold wedding band fly off his finger…he heard one distinct « ting » where it hit street somewhere but he never saw the direction it went. He searched for hours with his eyes and rakes/brooms before reaching out to me. I told him I would be there first thing the following morning. I originally thought this would be a quick job…the ring bounced once on street and then into the grass across the street but nope…it wasn’t in the grass across the street. This is where ring finding and metal detecting experience counts! I told Zac to go grab a metal washer…we’re going to re-enact the crime…I had Zac stand where he was with washer in his left hand (he was left handed) and pretend to throw stick again and let washer fly…guess what? it didn’t fly across the street it actually flew toward his home on the opposite side. There wasn’t any grass on that side…just some mulched beds with some shrubbery. I proceeded to scan under the first shrub I came to and immediately heard the signal I was looking for…a gold ring on the surface has a very unique signature on metal detector! I bent down and lifted the low branches of the shrub…and there was his beautiful gold ring!!! With Zac 10 feet away ..I held the ring up with a triumphant look….OMG the look of relief on his face was priceless! Its so fun and rewarding to be able to come through for people…I was so happy to get the ring back on Zac’s finger!!!

Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Broomall, PA!!!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Received an afternoon call from Mark seeking assistance in finding his beautiful and ornate gold wedding band. In speaking with him on the phone he shared that he felt his ring fly off his finger while unfurling a hose in his front yard a month earlier. Apparently he and his family had spent countless hours searching for the ring and even purchased a metal detector in hopes of finding it. It finally dawned on them that they might need to hire a professional…so they consulted the Ring Finder directory. I met Mark the following day at his home in Broomall, PA…he walked me to his front yard and showed me the area where he was convinced the ring was lost. Despite them searching for hours and using a cheap metal detector over the course of a month…I had no doubt that i would find the ring if it was there. Let me just say that a gold ring on the surface has a very unique and powerful signal on a detector…any experienced detectorist would recognize it immediately…so i didn’t pay much attention to all the other signals I was getting on my machine…I was hyper focused on a surface gold ring signal. Well…8 minutes into the search I finally heard the signal I was focused on….sure enough I reached down into the high grass with my pinpointer and there it was!!! When I showed Mark where I found it he was dumbfounded…he scoured that exact area with his eyes and the metal detector. I was so happy to be able to reunite Mark with his lost wedding band….he told me that it’s inscribed with his wedding date and initials and it has been with him for 45 years.

Gold ring lost, recovered and returned in Wilmington, DE!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Sarah found me in the Ring Finders directory after losing a beautiful gold ring with significant sentimental value. She conveyed to me that she was visiting some friends in Wilmington, DE and was enjoying a beautiful spring evening around a backyard fire pit. She said she had been taking charge of the firepit and collecting brush, sticks and wood in the woods nearby. At some point during the evening she was heartbroken to realize her ring was missing off her finger. It was gold ring with a red coral stone that meant so much to her. She and her friends searched everywhere with no luck. She felt confident that if fell off while she was collecting and snapping wood for the firepit. I was there within 12 hours and spent 30 min looking in the grass and woods surrounding the fire pit…no luck. It then dawned on me that the most obvious place to have started my search was the firepit itself! I walked over…gave it a quick scan and BOOM! A beautiful gold ring signal on my machine…after digging an inch or 2 in the ash….there it was!!! Well….the fire turned the red coral stone to grey and the gold ring itself was a little tarnished from the fire but it can surely be restored to its original beauty! I was happy to be able to come through for Sarah!

Massive gold signet ring lost, recovered and returned in Wallingford, PA

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

John reached out to me after finding me in the Ring Finder directory. He was looking for help in finding his 60 year old gold signet ring that came up  missing at his Wallingford, PA home after a day raking leaves. After considering buying or renting a detector himself he decided to hire a pro instead. I met John at his home the next day and he shared the details of where he was working in his yard. After a quick demonstration of my machine to prove to him I would not miss his ring if I scan over it…I went to work. He thought the ring most likely fell off in the front yard…so I started my search there…no luck. Off to the back yard we went…still no luck. Ok…time to step up my game! Back to the front yard with an expanded search…BOOM! I got that glorious gold surface tone in my headphones…I look down and there was his beautiful, massive gold ring! I called out to John who was sitting nearby…I was so happy to see the big smile on his face when he saw his ring in my hand!
