Engagement Ring Lost in the Backyard for a Month (Recovered)

I was contacted by Brian from Houston regarding his wives lost engagement ring. Brian said several weeks ago his wife was doing some yard work in the back yard of their home. He said at some point his wife had removed the gloves she had been wearing and her ring apparently came off her finger and landed somewhere in the backyard.
Brian said he had borrowed a metal detector several weeks ago and was unsuccessful at finding the missing ring. He said it was at that point he turned to the internet and tried to find someone to help. I met Brian today at his residence and was shown the area needing to be searched. I started working the backyard in a traditional grid search, hitting several deeper targets. After completing a through sweep of the primary area, I expanded the grid, and hit the missing ring on the first pass outside of the initial search area.
