Lost ring Cape May, NJ….FOUND!

  • from Cape May (New Jersey, United States)

The client explained that at some point this evening she believed that she may have dropped her ring in the sand while at the beach with her brother whom was taking aerial photos of the sunset. The client realized the ring was gone while at dinner so the area it was lost was potentially anywhere between her home, the beach, and the diner (several miles total). After meeting up we took a ride down and the client approximated the search area. After 15-20 minutes the ring was back on the clients finger, much to her relief.

Clients review of service: « This evening I attempted to enjoy the sunset at the cove in Cape May. As I was leaving I realized my $6000.00 wedding ring fell off. I was so upset obviously and was referred to Jeff Laag to help with the recovery. Jeff answered my call immediately and was at my house in no time. It wasn’t until I went back down to the cove with him and pointed out the rather large area I was roaming around, that I realized it was probably a pretty bleak chance he was going to find it. He began his search when about 15 minutes or so he asked me to once again describe it. When I provided him with the description, he pulled out my ring he found in the sand!!! I can’t thank him enough for giving me back not only my ring but all the memories that went with it. Thank you Jeff!! If you lose anything on the beach please do yourself a favor and call Jeff. I’m so thankful I did. »

Sometimes its not a ring! 8-9-2018

  • from Cape May (New Jersey, United States)

Received a call for a lost key fob along with a few other keys. Key fobs costing what they do these days, can be fairly expensive to replace. This was dropped at high tide yesterday. Recovered in approx 15 minutes. Btw, keys are usually tough to get back after they’ve been sitting as they are bulky and easily picked up by a beach rake, beach patron, or freelance Detectorist. Luckily for this client they were still in the area where she dropped them, which, ended up being under someone’s chair today.

Brief hunt this evening before heading out for dinner. Client lost this ring “at some point” yesterday. She believed it was either along the route she walked the dog, in the yard around her home, or possibly in a bag of trash. Bag of trash was the winner, much to the clients disbelief after she had searched the bag several times herself.
