MEN’s TITANIUM WEDDING BAND LOST OFF A DOCK INTO FAIRY LAKE, HUNTSVILLE, ONTARIO

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Ken had posted on a Facebook group page seeking the help of a scuba diver to assist in looking for his Son’s wedding band lost of the dock area.

They were headed out to go waterskiing and his Son jumped from the dock as the boat was leaving, caught his hand on the ski rope and watching his wedding band fall into the waters below.

I offered my services but I felt Ken didn’t believe the ring could be found with low visibility below. I advised him I had a high success rate of return.

I reached back out to Ken in the later part of the week as I was headed up to the Sequin Valley Gold Course area south of Parry Sound to search for another lost men’s wedding band. I again offered to assist and Ken decided to take me up on my offer!

Roughly 20-25 minutes later I was please to recover his Son’s titanium wedding band!!

Check out the video of this underwater ring recovery;

I’d like to thank Ken and his Family for their very generous donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation in my “PAY-IT-FORWARD” charity fundraising efforts! I used my passion for metal and scuba dive detecting to raise charity donation to assist patients/ Warriors fighting breast cancer!
After all, Eighty-five decked out pink themed female driven snowmobiles cross Fairy Lake for the yearly Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Snow Run’s the first weekend in February and we turn Hidden Valley Resort and the Town of Huntsville PINK!!! Maybe Ken’s Wife Lynn will join us for the 23rd annual Snow Run February 2022!!! I’m working on it 🌸💖🌸💖🌸

EXPENSIVE FISHING ROD GETS PULLED OUT OF BOAT BY NAUGHTY FISH

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Greg was out fishing in Minto, Ontario with his Son Max. Max wanted a different lure in his rod. Greg leaned his rod against the boat to change the lure when a naughty fish yanked it right out of the boat!

Max said call Ally, she’ll find it! ❤️

I had fun with my dive gear hanging onto the back of the boat which added for a quicker grid search.

I managed to see the flash of the cork on the end of the rod! It made for a quick recovery!

Check out the video on this recovery!

This rod was very special to Greg and Heather as it was used in their wedding photos! Happy fishing Greg, Heather and Maxie!

CELL PHONE LOST IN GIBSON LAKE, PORT SEVERN, MUSKOKA LAKE, ONTARIO

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Megan was sitting out on a dock with a pile of Friends when someone fell into the lake. She jumped up to help and her cell phone fell into the waters dockside in Gibson Lake, Port Severn in beautiful cottage country of the Muskoka Lakes region in Ontario!

I headed up after work with my underwater metal detector and decided to use my new DIVE BLU3 NEMO hookah system with the 10’ hose instead of all my scuba gear! The Blu3 Nemo hookah system is around 15lbs and is perfect for any recoveries 10’ or less!! Beats dragging all the gear and heavy scuba tank(s)!! I love this little unit!

During my underwater grid search I had a visit from Mister Bass. I pulled up some cans, bungee cords, a hot wheels car and finally managed to find Megan’s cell phone in 10-15 minutes! Hopefully the bag of rice I supplied will help save her phone/photos from damage being in the water for a few days already!

Here is the video;

I have a call out fee. When I recover the lost item, I don’t take a reward! Instead, I request the client to ‘pay-it-forward’ with an immediate online donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation! The client then receives a tax receipt for the amount donated!! This is my 13th year snowmobiling for the Kelly Shires!

Thank you Megan for calling upon me to help!
