LOST DIAMOND RING AT CRYSTAL COVE IN NEWPORT BEACH FOUND AND RETURNED

Deana called me late Saturday night and left a message, she said she lost her grandmother’s ring at Crystal Cove, and was devastated. I woke up early and heard the message, headed to the beach before I could get ahold of her. I arrived at the beach close by and heard back from her at 6:00 am. We agreed to meet there in about 20 minutes. When she got there, I told her that a big part of finding her ring was detective work. I explained that we need to retrace her steps from the Beach Combers Restaurant to the pathway leading to the stairway, and then all the way up. When we got to the top, Deana sat on the bench to rest, she told me she did the same thing the night before. I said that this should be where we focus on the search. Just then, we both looked down and saw her ring in the dirt next to the bench. she was filled with emotion and happiness to have her grandmother’s ring back on her hand. What a great summer day! It was a pleasure to help Deana who was very grateful.

I was just leaving the Bass Pro shop on Tuesday morning when I got an email from Kian who had just lost his palladium wedding ring the night before in the grass in front of his house while playing catch with his young daughter . His house was actually on may way home , so Kian gave me directions and the gate code and i was there in less than fifteen minutes. I searched in the area that Kian said he lost the ring about twenty five minutes with no luck. He was stuck at work in down town LA so he couldn’t meet me there , when we spoke on the phone before I called it quits to go home and retrieve another metal detector that I was more familiar with. He gave me more details which helped me narrow down the search area , after thirty minutes under my belt using my new machine I got a solid signal and there under the grass was Kian ring . After texting him the pictures he was amazed to see his ring again . He had me meet his wife at work to returned the ring , she was as happy as could be and graciously thank me. Its always a pleasure to reunite such nice people with their sentimental jewelry.

Malibu. I had just come back over forty miles from another beach and was very tired. , Once I found out that the couple were on there honeymoon I made it no problem to help the newlyweds . I made plans with Lisa and her husband Mike To meet them on the beach early the next morning to catch The next low tide. When I arrived at the beach just before 5am the surf was calm and it was easy to search at the bottom of the slope in the water. Just after 6am the couple arrived and showed me the area that she lost the ring. They looked around at the waters edge But I thought the ring would be higher up on the slope being that the ring was heavy gold and the surf wasn’t very strong. I did a grid pattern working my way down the slope and after about Fifteen minutes got a deep but solid signal .So I dug down two scoops deep and there was Lisa’s Ring glisening in the morning sun. Lisa and Mike were very emotional and happy to have thier ring back. I have to say that out of the many people i’v been fortunate enough to meet and help. They were one of the nicest couples i’v ever met.
