Happiness never wavers even when you lose a ring in the waves……Hilton Head Island Beach Ring Recovery

  • from Hilton Head Island (South Carolina, United States)

Brent & Hanane’s beach honeymoon getaway took an unexpected turn when playing in the waves resulted in Brents wedding band coming off, and sank into the sand at their feet. He lost his Ring but never lost his cool, his brides happiness couldn’t be ruined by his lost ring. Hunane however searched how much jewelry gets lost at the beach and how to recover, when she came across ringfinders after a little browsing she found me. ( A real life Treasure Hunter as Hanane called me…. 🙂  )  Hanane & Brent gave me a great idea of the area the ring came off, it didn’t take long (about 20 minutes) till I swung my coil over a good solid target I knew it was the ring. Two scoops of sand and in the scoop was the ring. Much to their surprise I texted them I had the ring and would be waiting on the beach. Hanane & Brents smiles were beyond joyful, the look of pure happiness knowing they would have Brents wedding band back where it belongs.

Ring Lost, Devastated Bride to Be, Reunited and It Feels So Good!!! Tybee Island Ring Recovery !

  • from Hilton Head Island (South Carolina, United States)

Abbie and future Husband to be Hunter, along with friends and family went for a walk, on Tybee Island.  About a good mile into their brisk walk in the chilly night air, Abbie realized her ring was gone. After searching until the early morning hours of 3-4am they had to rest. But again at 7am they were out looking to no avail. Devastation and exhaustion were setting in for Abbie, when they found Ringfinders and I received a call at 953am. I was on my way until I received a call from work, delaying my arrival until 400 pm.  Abbie was hopeful that along those sidewalks somewhere her ring laid waiting to be found. Hunter and I began to trace their path previous night’s path.  I must be honest, I thought the hope of finding it was slim, as it may have been picked up by someone walking those sidewalks. However, fate and luck know no bounds, along the way I found a copper penny heads up, I kept it in my hand until I seen a tree stump, and laid it inside and made a wish, said a little prayer and asked to please let me find this ring. About another hundred yards later across the street from a Methodist Church, there it laid in a small spot of open dirt with grass around it, like a little halo waiting to be picked up. Hunter was ecstatic with joy, we returned to their rental and Hunter presented his gift yet again to his bride to be, Abbie and Hunter were extremely thankful as were all of their friends and family inside sharing their joy of such a positive moment in their lives, to see their best friend/loved one reunited with her ring and beyond happy again. Abbies Father even reached out to me to thank me, a father happy for his little girl’s happiness.

May your happiness flourish throughout your lives and those you love and cherish. Congrats on your wedding in two weeks.

Lost, Now Found Beautiful Diamond Wedding Band, Tybee Island Ring Recovery !

  • from Hilton Head Island (South Carolina, United States)

On trip that included a stopover for much needed rest and relaxation with her lady posse, while relaxing on the beach, on Tybee Island, Tammy inadvertently, lost her wedding band. Tammy and her lady friends showed me the general area of where they were the day before. I was anxious to hunt with the new Deus II for known gold. It took about 20-25 minutes until I heard that telltale sound and a VDI 51 on the D2. I scooped it gently as I was told there were many diamonds with a rather large one in the center. I looked in the scoop and behold, there it was. I looked up as the ladies were looking over and i had Tammy’s friend confirmed that it was the ring before presenting it, Tammy was pleased and relieved to say the least. Tammy’s smile said it all for me. I was absolutely so happy for Tammy; I could tell her heart was aching when she discovered she lost her 30-year-old ring. Smiles galore from Tammy and her good friend.

Recovered Wedding Band Tybee Island Young Couple

I received a text about 2:49 pm (however since my phone was still on silent from my Bosses birthday party I did not see it till I was about to go prospecting at 430pm when i checked my phone for some reasons and seen the text)  I responded at 4:40pm saying I will be there in about an hour . I arrived to meet a young man named  Andrew he stated he lost his ring in the shallow water rinsing his hands off as the tide was coming in and  much like so many others, his ring slipped off into a wave that just happened to come at the most inopportune time……..and gone it was. I began gridding to no avail,  so I went into beast hunting mode, and three swings later, bang I heard the telltale sign of  of a good signal, I knew it was the ring before I seen it , I looked up and smiled as I seen the glint of silver metal. I called Andrew and his beautiful new bride Alex of 1 1/2 weeks over to hand him his ring back. They were overjoyed and astonished at the recovery. This is the part I relish in, their joy at seeing what they thought was lost forever, now back where it belongs.
