Lost Ring On The Fourth of July Savannah Ga !

With bombs (fireworks) bursting in air and celebrations with people waving their hands in the air, a ring sparkled in the night as it flew from the finger of the Mrs. X into the darkness of the night. I received a text from Mr. & Mrs. X concerning a lost ring from the night before while celebrating the Independance of our Nation. Totally devastated and discouraged after purchasing a beginner hobby detector and not being able to recover her ring Mrs. X found The Ring Finders website, and eventually me. I setup the time to be available and traveled to meet Mr. & Mrs. X. As I was driving the weather turned very stormy, strong winds lightning (YIKES) thunder and heavy rain. I finally arrived to a steady pouring of rain , not to hard but steady. I met with Mrs. X and she described her actions leading up to the ring coming off. I started looking and as I did the rain began to pour harder, the lightning came closer until a CRACK of lightning maybe 100-200 yards away made me say, STOP. I came back onto the porch, and I spoke with Mrs. X for a while until the lightning subsided and the rain slowed. I started again and as Mr. X pulled into the driveway, i came across a strong loud signal, as I looked down, I could see the edge of white gold peeking out from under a grass blade. I turned off my detector, looked up at Mrs. X and she said did you find something? I looked at her and smiled a little and said, yes, I did, it’s your ring, she couldn’t see it, so she didn’t get as excited until I reached down and pulled it out from under the grass blade and showed it to her. At that moment Mr. X was walking up the path toward me and Mrs. X seen the ring and the relief of seeing her ring took so much anguish and desperation (of possibly never seeing her ring again) away from her. (That is the moment I wait for when I recover an item for each person who has lost something dear to them).
