I received a text from a sweet lady that lost both her rings while cleaning up acorns in her backyard.
She was putting them into a roadside trash bin and realized later that her rings were missing. She dumped out one bin and checked and didn’t see them or find them with a friends metal detector. I scanned that first then I scanned the backyard and didn’t find them.
Then she mentioned the other trash bin, so I pulled it over and dumped it out on the tarp with the other acorns I had already scanned and I got a hit. First I found the diamond ring and quickly scanned again and there was the wedding band just a few inches away.
She mentioned her late husband had lost his gold ring in the yard somewhere so I asked if I could try and find it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get over it. She wasn’t sure where he was or what he was doing when he lost it.
