If you lose a metallic valuable in a pubic location call .. a Ringfinder..  ASAP .. 949-500-2136

…  Ella contacted me after losing her diamond engagement ring in a public area in a Laguna Beach business district. When she called I was on the beach two miles away.

It didn’t take long to meet Ella and Nicolas at the location where they had been parked next to a city landscaped planter. Nicolas told me that they believed his wife’s diamond ring fell out of her purse when she dropped the purse after getting out of the car. They had also checked the inside of the car and moved the car to see if it had fallen under the car.

The planter was about a 10 ft x 10 ft area with well spaced plants and wood chip ground cover. After scanning the planter in several directions and following up crawling on my hands and knees using my pinpointer the ring didn’t show.

I asked Ella to re-check her purse and we double checked the inside of the car. Boom! ring found on a small ledge under the steering column. We had established that the ring was not in the planter using the metal detectors. Process of elimination caused a reason to re-check the only other places left that had many hiding places. The inside of cars have many nooks and crannies that can hide a ring. Too bad a metal detector can’t work inside of cars.

Results, two very happy people that had spent more than two hours searching for their very sentimental ring. It was a pleasure to help Nicolas and Ella.

***  Justin and his friends were at El PortoBeach, one of the Los Angeles County Beaches. They had been throwing a football at the waters edge when Justin’s wedding ring flew off his finger. After an hour of searching with no success, got on line where he located my phone number.

Phone calls are recommended to give you the best possible chance for a successful recovery of your lost sentimental keepsake. I was happy to talk to Justin and to know he could be at the location till I arrived. We had a very good chance to find his ring because he did know when the ring came off his finger. The tide was coming in but that would not be a problem because my detector can operate in salt water.

We met on the beach, where Justin showed me the area of the loss. It didn’t take long to find his ring using the right tool for the right job. (n.

h a metal detector finds it in a few minutes. End results is a very sentimental ring is not lost forever. Justin left the beach a very happy person.

A direct phone call will be answered promptly which will always increase your chance to find your valuable. I will respond to texts and emails which can effect our opportunity for a successful search.

>>> Kevin lost his tungsten wedding ring while playing volleyball at Bolsa Chica State Beach. Even though he immediately felt the ring slip off, he and other family members could not find the ring.

His wife Jillian was able to locate me by doing a google search. After she called, telling me what had happened, I was able make arrangements to meet them at the location. It was easy to tell them that we had a good chance to find the ring, so don’t waist time trying to find it by hand searching.

It didn’t take long to get to the beach but all the beach parking was full and they weren’t allowing cars to enter the parking lots. With a line of cars backed up about a half of a mile waiting for state park to allow more cars to enter, the nearest parking was maybe two miles away. Then the miracle happened, at 5 pm they started allowing cars to pass into the beach parking.

Two hours to get to the beach meeting Jillian and Kevin at the volleyball court. Then a short search with a successful recovery. They were surprised and happy to have the special ring back. Kevin couldn’t believe it was so easy to find. I explained it was only a matter of having the right tool for the right job. Metal detectors work well to find rings if you have a quality detector and you know how to use one.

It was a pleasure to help Jillian and Kevin. We had a little trouble getting to the site then we were lucky enough to have good idea of where the loss occurred. These call out are all different and tend to be little mini adventures.
