I was fortunate enough to be able to locate and return a pair of beautiful gold and diamond earrings that had been lost while on a walk in Meridian Idaho!

Lost Diamond Earring Found and Returned in Nampa, Idaho!
Wow!!! Wow!!! Thank you so much theringfinders.com website for directing me to Scott Robbins of https://www.208treasure.com/ . He is located in Nampa, Idaho. On October 18,2020 we had my grandsons wedding in the back yard. It is about an acre. During the festivities my granddaughter lost her diamond earring. Not just any diamond earring but the one she received for completing her Masters degree in Engineering, so it was very, very important. I bought a metal detector, no luck, one of my daughters friends came over, no luck. In desperation I started looking for a professional on the internet. My daughter said “mom no one looks for lost things like this, I said I will find someone!!”
Well Lo and behold I found Scott. He came out the next Saturday morning in the rain mind you, and within 1.5 hours he comes walking in with her earring.
I was so so happy and my granddaughter was beyond tears.

Diamond Earring Found and Returned

I have looked for jewelry so much that it has become a habit, and sometimes I even find items without a detector.
While visiting a local pool, I found a beautiful diamond earring. Over the next couple of weeks, I asked the lifeguards if anyone reported it in lost & found.
I was about to place an ad in the local community newsletter when one of the lifeguards remembered a note on their bulletin board. Someone named Ann did report it the day it was lost, and there was a note with her number! I called Ann and she came to my home to retrieve her earring. I very much appreciate her generous reward, which I donated to Fisher House. It is a great feeling to know this lovely earring got back to the rightful owner.

Pamela called me and left a message. She was visiting a grave site when she lost a very treasured earring. As anyone would do, she searched on her hands & knees for a long time. I called her back and we worked out the time and location to meet. Pamela was on top of everything, she even contacted the cemetery to make sure it was OK to search.
As always, we re-enacted how the item was lost. Having the matching earring allowed me to set the detector to ignore most other targets. I started searching in a small area with a probe, and then a larger area with the stock coil. Despite proper settings, the larger coil was getting too many signals. Within minutes of switching to the sniper, I recovered the earring. When I pulled it out of the grass, I was overwhelmed from the look on Pamela’s face. I am so glad to be able to help people find their treasures. Thanks to Chris Turner, for being a visionary and creating the Ringfinders.
In retrospect I should have started with the 4” coil, but I have had great success on small items in the past with the stock coil. I’m glad I could adapt to the unexpected conditions with the proper equipment. Pamela is a very interesting person who has some professional experience in electromagnetic fields. She expressed interest in learning to metal detect and helping others. Jump on in Pamela, the water’s great:)

Lost Platinum & Diamond Earring Found In Woodinville, WA!
« Undetectable » Diamond & Platinum Earring Recovered… Just Barely!
Today’s recovery was for a lady who lost her impressive diamond stud earring while staining her deck a few days ago. She at some point took off her dust mask which probably caught her earring and flung it off into the unknown! She noticed the back landed in between the boards, and then realized her loss.
After her and her husband scoured the yard, and squeezed under the deck to look for it, they tried renting a metal detector. They found out quickly, though, stud earrings are very hard to detect because they contain so little actual metal. In fact, their rental unit could not even detect it when they passed it over the 2nd earring.
I had confidence that at least one of my machines should be able to outperform this rental unit and headed out with all 3. After testing on the other earring, I was pretty surprised to find my 2 most expensive detectors would not detect this target!
My least expensive unit did, but just a barely audible sound would come through, and only occasionally. I started getting pretty nervous that this hunt would be unsuccessful.
To make matters worse, the lawn area around the deck was littered with nails from the sloppy contractor who built it. I was getting a pretty sinking feeling, but I was determined to at least try. Many nails were pulled out of the ground, so I could concentrate on the whisper that the earring MIGHT give me.
Somehow, someway, I managed to pass over a quiet target and it was the earring! We were both so amazed and relieved, and glad that I have a few types of machines in my arsenal!

Brenda Speedy had loaned her platinum stud and diamond earrings to a friend’s daughter. While preparing to go into a soccer match one of the earrings went missing. The two adults searched on their hands and knees without success. They later rented a metal detector at a local store and searched the area. Finding a stud earring is no easy task as there is not a lot of metal to make a metal detector react. Once again their search did not give their desired results. Later that night the two searched the area for another two hours using headlamps hoping the diamond would reflect the light, still no luck. They even went as far as using a shop vacuum the following day in hopes that it would suck up the lost jewel.
Brenda contacted me Monday night telling me of her predicament and her efforts to find the earring. We set a plan to meet at the park the next morning to search for the earring. I arrived at the assigned meeting time and location and we walked the area where the earring was supposed to be while Brenda once again explained the events that led to the earrings loss and her efforts to find it.
I set up my machines and tested them both on the match to the lost ear ring to make sure they were picking up the signal. I selected one of my machines and started my grid search. After an hour and a half I had found the earring within a few feet of where they had used the shop vacuum and within the area that they had searched using the rental metal detector.
The pair of platinum and diamond earrings had been given to Brenda by her father and they held a sentimental value that far exceeded the monetary value of the pair.
