Happy Ending At Honeymoon Island

Jordan and Nick were having a great time on the beach at Honeymoon Island and decided to get some food. After walking away Jordan realized her 3 rings were missing and walked back to their beach spot to search the sand. They were able to find 2 of the rings, but the engagement ring eluded them. They contacted the Ranger and we’re told to call Howard Metts. Twenty minutes later HOWARD arrived at the beach and was able to find the ring in less than a minute. Camper Loses Chain And Crucifix On Anclote Island

Andrew was camping on Anclote Island with friends when he discovered his gold chain with crucifix his grandfather had given him was missing.

When he got home he told mom who was able to find the Suncoast Research and Recovery Club Ringfinders blog. His mother sent an email requesting help from the club and was contacted by Howard Metts.

Howard and Ed Osmar met Andrew, his mother, and friends that supplied a boat to get us out to the island. About 30 minutes into the hunt Andrew spotted the chain sticking out of the sand, however the crucifix was not with it. Ten minutes later Howard Metts got a good signal and came up with the crucifix. Mom and Andrew were very grateful for the recovery.

Cheerleader Loses Wedding Ring Set In Oldsmar, SRARC Recovers It

Christi leads a cheerleading team in Oldsmar, Florida. On Wednesday night, prior to practice, she had removed her wedding band and engagement ring and set it on top of her bag. With darkness falling and practice over, the girls grabbed their bags. Christi gets to her car and reality steps in !!! My rings !!! Racing back to the corner of the field, no rings were found.

On Thursday, Ryan, her husband was able to borrow a metal detector at work. Four hours of gridding and searching delivered a big, fat goose egg.

Ryan did some internet searching and was lead to the Suncoast Research and Recovery Club and their team of Ring Finders. Mark Prue got the call from Ryan on Friday and the three agreed to meet in Oldsmar the following morning.

After dodging a disc golf tournament, dog walkers and a cricket match in progress, Mark started searching the area. The second target Mark came across found his XP Deus screaming GOLD !! A quick search with the pinpointer confirmed it. He pulled the grass aside and there it was !!! He called Christi over, told her to look here …..hugs and tears ensued !!! Another return for the Ring Finders !!

Young assistant recovers lost ring in Clearwater Beach.

Arizona couple, Michael and his wife Katlyn, were spending vacation time in Clearwater Beach.  While tossing a ball in the water at the hotel’s private beach, Katlyn dove for the ball and sadly watched her wedding band fall off into the water. Michael found our club online and contacted Tom Jones, who passed on the information to Howard Metts. Howard called Michael and set up a time to meet before they left for the airport.

Howard started hunting in the area he was directed to hunt in (chest to neck deep water) and retrieved three targets, but not the ring.  Connor, who was visiting from Michigan with his family, was swimming in the search area with goggles.  After an hour of hunting and just before Mike and Kat were to leave for home, Connor popped up and said « is this what your looking for »?  In his hand was the ring Howard had been searching for!  Mike and Kat were very grateful for Howard’s efforts and to young Connor for coming up with the ring.  Nice work, Connor! You may have just found yourself a lifetime hobby, too!   Thanks for helping.
