Glenn and his wife were enjoying a fantastic day at St. Pete Beach, on the Florida Gulf coast. He took his ring off, placed it on his lap and applied sunscreen. He stood up and the ring went into the white powdery sand. Finding SRARC.COM online, he called Joe. Beach traffic was at a standstill as usual on Saturday afternoon. Joe notified Glenn, who drove Joe’s car as he hunted for the ring. The ring was found and Joe returned to his car still stuck in traffic. Glenn and his wife were all smiles and very appreciative.

At their wedding on Anna Maria Island, Daniel was preparing to slide the wedding ring onto Emily’s ring finger when disaster struck. In preparation for receiving the ring Emily had removed her engagement ring and slipped it on to end of her little finger. As Daniel started to put the wedding onto her finger Emily’s reaction caused her to flip her little finger and off flew the engagement ring and disappeared into the sand as well. They quickly found the wedding ring and the ceremony continued. Later the whole wedding party searched but the engagement ring could not be found. Someone found SRARC ring finders online and contacted Joe Szemer. Joe called Mike Miller who responded immediately and headed for the wedding location on the beach. When Mike arrived the wedding party had left for the reception and there was another metal detectorist searching the area because someone who had been there when the ring was lost called him over when she saw him coming down the beach. They both searched for about 5 minutes and then the other detectorist found the ring. The Grooms brother (Matt) had called Mike earlier and requested that the he call him instead of the bride if the ring was found so he could surprise them at the reception. Mike was going to drive right by the reception on his way home so the other detectorist kindly gave Mike the ring so it could be delivered. Mike arrived about an hour later and called Matt to come to the parking area to get the ring. Matt had a master plan to present the ring to the Bride and Groom and invited Mike in to watch. Matt got the microphone and called his brother to center stage. He then talked a little about the catastrophe at the wedding and then open the box and gave the ring to his brother. Daniel called Emily up and got down on one knee and slipped the ring back onto her finger. The crowd was cheering and everyone was smiling from ear to ear. SRARC wants to wish the Bride and Groom the best for their future life together. We always like to be a smiling part to a happy ending.

Last Saturday in St. Pete I lost my wedding band and engagement ring in the sand when I took it off to put sunscreen on the girls faces. I was forgetful and stood up before I put them back on and within five minutes had realized they were gone. We dug in the sand and searched for them with no luck. We headed home Sunday and with that any hope of ever seeing them again was gone. My wonderful husband went out of his way to find this amazing non-profit who will go out and search for peoples missing important possessions. Javi sent them a picture of my rings and a overhead view of the beach he shot with his drone the day before specifying where we were sitting… Y’all they found my rings! Thank you so so much Srarc!! I am so grateful and just a complete puddle over how good people are.

Bo and Erica were down from Seattle visiting with family on Anna Maria Island. They all headed out to the beach to spend some time in the sun and surf. After setting up a space on the sand Bo decided he wanted to go for a swim. He took off his shoes and just to be safe he put his wedding ring into one of the shoes. A few hours later they were all packing up to leave and Bo grabbed his shoes and shook the sand out of them before putting them back on. He then suddenly remembered his ring had been in the shoe and was now gone. They all searched but no luck and then Erica found the ring finders and eventually contacted Howard Metts. They needed someone to come right away as they were leaving at 4:00 am the next morning. Howard contacted Mike Miller who responded immediately with his visiting daughter Kimberly and they met Bo at the beach location. Bo defined an area and Mike went to work. In about 5 minutes Mike got the hit and up came the lost wedding ring. Bo was overjoyed and Mike was all smiles to be able to return the ring. Kimberly did the photographs in which you can see how happy Bo was. All the best to Bo and Erica on their return to Seattle.

Kyle and Ally were down from Nashville to Longboat Key visiting with Kyles mother for a few days. They were out on the beach enjoying the sun and surf. Kyle and a friend were tossing a football around. At one point, Kyle was standing on shore ready to hike the football to his friend who was out in the water. As he hiked the ball he felt his wedding ring fly off. He didn’t know how far it flew but they all searched along with volunteers from the beach. After several hours they gave up and Ally searched and found SRARC ring finders. She explained the situation to Joe Szemer and Joe contacted Mike Miller. Mike made arrangements to meet and he arrived that afternoon. The water was rough and hunting became very difficult and Mike had to stop. Mike said he would return the next morning when the water had settled down. The next morning he went to work and soon the sound of gold was ringing in his ears. Up came the missing wedding ring and Kyle and Ally were full of excitement and smiles. It is always a pleasure to be a part of bringing smiles to peoples faces.
