Michael and his Wife Emily of Alexandria, VA were taking a short vacation to visit his 94 year old grandfather in Venice, FL then spend a couple of days at Treasure Island Resort.

Michael and Emily went out to the beach and shortly after arriving Michael went to the waters edge to wash his hands and his wedding ring slipped off his finger and out of sight. Tom met the couple later that afternoon, Michael told Tom exactly where he thought it was and 45 seconds after turning the detector on Tom finds the ring exactly where it it was supposed to be and returned it to the smiling pair.

Treasure Island Florida Engagement Ring Lost, Found, and Returned

Emily and her fiancé Arnab have been engaged for 3 weeks and while at the beach Emily took her ring off and put it in the pocket of her shorts under a cabana while she went in the water. After putting on her shorts she realized that her ring was missing and they started searching through the sand and could not find her ring. Arnab told her not to be so upset, the ring was insured and could be replaced. Emily told him that she wanted the ring that he had put on her finger. She contacted Tom Jones to ask for help locating the ring. Tom headed immediately out to Treasure Island with his detector. Upon arriving he met Arnab at the cabana who told him that they had found the ring just a couple of minutes before he had showed up. While waiting for Tom, Arnab was kicking the sand and saw the ring fly out. The couple thanked Tom for being available to help and told him that they had learned a lot that day.

Thrown Away Wedding Ring Returned in Tampa, Florida

Bridgett was sitting on her front porch talking to her husband on the phone. She was a bit upset that he left for work without his wedding band.  The emotions got the best of her and she ended up taking her ring off and throwing it into the front yard! She and her husband searched the entire yard and could not find the ring.

Lucky for her she went to the internet and looked up “how to find a ring in the grass”. SRARC’s Ring Finder number came up.  She made the call and a team was put together.  Mike Miller and Paul Hill arrived about 1 pm that very day.  After about 30 minutes or so Bridgett went inside to check on her two little ones and started to cry thinking that they would not be able to find it.  Shortly after she returned to the front porch Paul Hill asked her “if it looked like this?”  She was so excited and relieved. What fun it was for us to be able to return a smile to her face.
