  • from Miami (Florida, United States)

How do you find a lost ring at the beach, whether you lost it in the sand or in the ocean, start by calling me, Louis at 305-608-1870.  I can help you find your lost ring or any other type of jewelry.  I can take my detector in the ocean !!!!  Take a look at some of the pictures below and my other blogs and posts of some other successful recoveries.  Before you call me please take a look around and try to remember where you lost your ring.  Look for objects such as lifeguard stands, beach chairs, or buildings.  Use these as points of reference.   After,  try to put a marker in the dry sand a few feet away from where you lost it just incase you have to leave the area.  PLEASE don’t tell anyone that you lost it because they might try to find it and keep it.  The faster you call me the faster I can return it to you…. So don’t wait.

I was metal detecting in the water and this couple chased me down that he had lost his ring a few minutes ago while swimming…Found it!!

Below are several of my success stories

Last weekend I received a frantic message from Ana explaining how she lost her ring down on Miami Beach while visiting family.  I had actually just gotten back from trying to help another person look for their lost ring (this was an all day event, on a boat and underwater).  It was 7pm already and the light was fading, I was exhausted, and I didn’t know if I had enough natural light left for an easy dry sand hunt.  But I figured if I didn’t make it out there quickly another metal detector would surely find it.  So I raced back over to the beach and met her and her husband, two young lawyers.  I asked them to use their sandals as corner post so I could grid the area.  By this time the sun had just set and I had to use a head mounted flashlight.  Although she wasn’t sure if she even lost it in the sand, I knew if it was there I would find it.  So I started to grid off there area and came across two coins, knowing the tones of the coins and read out they give I skipped over them.  I don’t even think panic set in for her because after just 1 min of searching I found the ring.  When I showed her the ring she thought I was lying (I myself couldn’t believe how fast I found it).  This was my fastest find to date (Disclaimer: finding lost jewelry in less than a minute is not the norm:-).  After several hugs and a very generous reward we all left happy.  Below is a picture of the happy couple after she got her ring back.  I was so glad I could help them, they were so grateful and kind.

Below … After labor weekend we were contacted to find a wedding ring 14 ft down in a private marina in the Florida Keys.  After a good three hours fighting through the silt and boulders my friend Chris was able to find it.  The couple had only been married one month and the ring had been sitting down there for three weeks.  They were more than ecstatic when he pulled it up.  They had been trying on their own for those three weeks but had no luck and were close to giving up.  ANOTHER RING REUNITED !!

Below is a happy customer who just earlier lost a special ring her Grandfather gave her just before he passed way.  Her friend found my info on the internet and called me and told me her friend lost a ring as she was disembarking from a friend’s boat in the Coco Plum Marina.  It had fallen into the murky water right next to the docks.  I was used to searching for rings on the beach and ocean, so this would be a first for me, and boy was it a different environment.  Visibility was a « O » and  the floor had about 12 inches of silt.  But after about a half hour of pulling up beer tops I finally got her ring!!! Boy was she Thankful.

One month later I get another frantic call from a guy in WISCONSIN of all places that his wife just lost her 1 ct Diamond Tiffany ring.  The funny thing about this story is that she was just stopping by Miami on her way to St. Petersburg.  She decided to go to the beach before her next flight took off and managed to lose her ring while she was walking around the back area of the Diplomat.  After playing phone tag with her and her husband I was able to meet her out on the beach.  He had already booked a flight to Miami because he was worried about the ring so I needed to find it fast in hopes he could cancel his ticket.  It just so happened that she lost it on one of the most windy and stormy days this November and I was sure I was gonna be able to get in the water.  Luckily she lost it high enough in the wet sand that it hadn’t been sucked in the ocean yet.  This was another quick find and another satisfied customer.  She was so embarrassed that she managed to lose her ring during a few hours layover, but was relieved because it didn’t ruin her trip

Same story different day…..except this time a friend lost and engagement ring and felt soooo bad.  I received a call from a woman wondering if I could find a ring she lost in Ft. Lauderdale the night before.  I told her theres a good chance another person metal detecting has found it but ill give it a try.  She said she was on her hands an knees until midnight searching through the sand.  When I got there the beach was crowded and I couldn’t find it between the blankets, but everybody was very nice and moved their stuff for us and now a circle of spectators was forming.  It had been a while and I had gone over the spot they told me for a good 15 minutes with no luck.  So I decided to look a little down the beach where the tractors drags the dirt and sure enough it was in a pile of seaweed. When I found it everybody started clapping and she collapsed to the floor and started crying.  She then went on to  tell me the real story behind the lost ring…. which I told her would remain a secret:-)

Its April again and now the calls are coming in.  The images below are of Lizeth on Hollywood Beach who was on vacation from NJ. She called and said she lost her custom Diamond wedding ring on the beach after putting on sunscreen.  She too said she spent hours on her hands and knees looking for it.  I told her just don’t move and I’ll be there in 45 min.  46 min later she and her Husband were thrilled because it only took me 1 min to find it:-)  I love those quick easy jobs.  Especially the ones that help save a couple vacation.
