Engagement Ring Lost in Cheektowaga NY Found in the Snow Covered Tennis Court
Alex contacted us after running out of options trying to find his wife’s lost engagement ring. To make things more interesting she had actually lost two rings. Alex was lucky enough to recover the wedding ring himself but the engagement ring was still missing and that one was not going to be easy to replace.
The rings were lost the evening before during a walk with the dogs that somehow turned into a game of fetch inside a snow covered tennis court. Because apparently tennis courts do not take the winter off they just change sports.
Between the dogs running full speed snow flying and a lot of movement the engagement ring quietly slipped off and disappeared into the snow. It was not until later that night that the missing ring was noticed and the panic set in.
I showed up the next day and was able to locate the engagement ring quickly before it decided to spend any more time chilling in its snowy hiding spot. The ring was returned to a very relieved and happy couple.
Another successful recovery a great story to tell and a friendly reminder that winter tennis and jewelry do not mix.
