Lost Wedding Ring Found and Returned on Bellaire Beach, Florida
Katie called SRARC in desperation asking if anyone could help her find her lost wedding ring. She told Tom Jones that she had put both her rings on a shirt and while cleaning her child’s glasses she inadvertently picked up the shirt causing both rings to fall into the loose sand. She dug around and found her engagement ring but could not find her wedding band. After getting some information from Katie, Tom called Ed Osmar and asked if he and Rick Magyar could meet her at the beach and do a search for the ring. Ed met up with Rick and they called Katie and headed out.
45 minutes after Tom had call Ed his phone rang and it was Ed calling. Upon answering Tom was surprised that the voice he heard was not Ed but Katie saying “Tom, thank you so much for hooking me up with this wonderful man.” Rick had found and returned her cherished ring.

Two Rings Found and Returned at Weekii Watchee Springs
Caroline and her sister Katy along with several other cousins all gathered at Katy’s house for the holidays. On Monday January 3rd they decided it would be fun to go up to Weekii Watchee Springs state park and see the mermaids perform. After the show they spent some additional time walking around the park and soon it was getting so warm they decided to go for a swim in the spring. Caroline went into the changing room and changed into her swimming suit. She covered herself with sun screen and in the process removed her rings and put them into her short’s pocket and then put them on over her swim suit. After looking around a little more they headed over to the beach and found a picnic table to store their things on. Caroline removed her shorts and laid them on the table then headed off to the water. After swimming for a while they returned to the table and Caroline found her shorts with the keys fallen out of the pocket but thought nothing of it. They finished their day and headed home. After returning home she discovered both of her rings were missing. She and her sister rushed back to the park and searched in the sand under the table but could not find anything. One of Caroline’s cousins remembered hearing about The Ring Finders and suggested she try finding someone to help. She found the SRARC Ring Finders Service and contacted Mike Miller. Mike put out a request to the team and they all met at the site the next day. As the team entered the park (Paul Hill, Ed Osmar, Rick Magyar, Mike Shuler and Mike), the gate attendant mentioned that they had just found a ring. We waited until Caroline arrived and they had her describe her lost engagement ring and sure enough it was hers. We all congratulated her and began to step away when she mentioned that the engagement ring was the only one that was important so don’t worry about the other ring she had lost. We said “No Way” we came all this way to hunt so let’s go see if we can find it. We discovered that the engagement ring was found nowhere near where she thought she had lost it and there was no sandy area in that location. We decided to split up with Caroline and Paul heading to the location that the engagement ring had been found and the rest of us, with Katy as our guide, headed to the beach area by the picnic table. After searching the sand around the picnic table for a short time Mike got a call from Paul and he informed us that Caroline had found the second ring. The boat Captain who found the engagement ring saw them looking and he showed them exactly where he had found it lodged between two dock planks. Caroline looked off to the side in the dirt and spotted the other ring right away. We think she reached into her pocket for something and the rings popped out as she pulled out maybe her keys. Whatever, we are very happy she has her rings again and that we were able to give her moral support until they were returned to her fingers again.
When we left the park we all had great big smiles on our faces!!!!!!!!!!!

Long Clearwater Beach hunt finds and returns lost wedding ring
While water hunting Sunday afternoon Ed Osmar was approached by a man and asked for help. It seems that he and a friend were playing catch in the water and when he tossed the ball his wedding ring slipped off and was lost in the ocean. After asking where he thought the ring was Ed started hunting and after about an hour got a good signal and recovered the ring. Holding it up I said here it is and Paul and his wife ran through the water toward me. His wife spread her arms to give me a hug and Paul looked at the ring and said that’s not mine, so back to looking some more. Well it took another two hours+ but Paul was reunited with his ring.
Awesome effort Ed, congratulations on another great recovery. Paul and his wife had these kind words for Ed after the recovery.
« Ed, you are the best! After hours and hours of searching you found my lost wedding band in the depths of the Gulf of Mexico! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! »
The picture below pretty much sums up the reason we like to do this service.

Wedding Ring Lost then Found and Returned on Clearwater Beach, Florida
While on vacation at Clearwater Beach and playing with his three year old son, Josh realized his wedding ring was missing. With the help of friends, the beach was searched for the ring but it could not be found. After telling his wife the ring was lost and that the insurance purchased on the ring did not cover the loss, he was about to call his home owners insurance but happened to call his parents first. His parents live in Ohio and happened to see a recent story on Channel 12 out of Cincinnati about how a group called The Ring Finders had recovered a lost ring for a couple from Ohio vacationing at Clearwater beach just a few weeks earlier and suggested Jose contact that group. The rest is history, he called The SRARC Ring Finders group and they sent help that just happened to be the very same person that who had found the ring in the Channel 12 story. Another happy ending and great recovery By Ed Osmar. Way to keep the smiles coming Ed !!!!!!!!!

Special Ring Lost at Clearwater Beach then Found and Returned
Elizabeth, her husband Jonas and son Elias are on holiday from Helsingborg Sweden and ready to enjoy all that Florida has to offer. The water was warm and welcoming as Elizabeth swished her hands in the clear blue Gulf of Mexico. As she lifted her hands up she realized that the ring her husband had gotten in Thailand and given to her 16 years ago was gone. Heartbroken, they searched for hours with no luck. That is when they went online and contacted Mike Miller. Mike contacted Paul Hill who he knew was off today and available for a rapid response. He made his way to Clearwater Beach and met up with Elizabeth. Paul looked at his watch, 3:29, picked his north to south line based on some questions he asked and on tide information that he had be given by Mike on the drive over. Thirty or so feet later he got a solid 12-27 signal, presenting his scoop to Elizabeth she reached in and retrieved her white gold and ruby ring then almost knocked Paul over with big hug. Quick look at his watch…3:34. The happy family headed back up to the beach ready to enjoy the rest of their 3 week vacation!
SRARC is very happy that we were able to help and wish them safe travels back home.
