One evening, while I was out searching for another lost ring, Sierra messaged me to say a wave had knocked her over and caused her ring to slip off her finger. After two water searches that day, I’d injured my shoulder and couldn’t search for her ring myself. I reached out to a few trusted detectorist friends, and Justin said he might have time to look. I’d planned to search two days later despite my injury, but early that morning, as I was preparing my gear, Justin contacted me to say he’d already recovered the ring. He also mentioned signs in the sand suggesting another detectorist had searched the area before him. I met Justin to pick up the ring and headed to the Whaler Inn in Pine Knoll Shores, NC. Sierra was shocked it had already been found, and it was a pleasure meeting and working with them. Thanks again to Justin for the assist.
