Class Ring lost during water balloon fight in Richmond, Texas (found) by John Volek

Monday 05/31/2016 Memorial Day

Justin reported he had been at the Friendship Church in Richmond, and while participating in an un-scheduled water balloon fight, he lost his 4 week old University of Texas at El-Paso class ring.

Justin said several hours have been spent looking for the ring, but after no luck, he decided to search for some help! Justin said he came across « The Ring Finders » on the internet and placed the call.

It’s clear from Justin’s smile, things worked out well!

Being that I am a first generation college student, my class ring is more than just a ring, but a symbol of the hard work and dedication that my parents and myself have put into my education. Yesterday afternoon, I had the misfortune of losing this prized possession in a field behind my local assembly. After hours of searching with no luck, I turned to the web to find Houston Metal Detecting Services, where I was greeted with a warm conversation, and concern about my situation. Mr. John, (Houston Metal Detecting Services) joined my brother and I to search for my lost ring, and within nearly an hours time, my ring was found. Mr. John’s thorough search of the grounds, displayed great workmanship for his art. This all goes without saying, that it was also Memorial Day. Mr. John and Houston Metal Detecting Services, gave back to me something that could not be replaced. For this I am very grateful, and would recommend his services to anyone facing a similar predicament.

Great Job John! I see you haven’t broken the 30-30 by dropping it. LOL! Did you try mounting the lanyard on the top of your sand scoop yet? Works great for a resting position. GL. GH.
