I received a phone call yesterday in regards to a Lost Ring at Spanish Banks Beach, he told me he searched for it that day but could not find it and came back the next morning and searched again in the sand. As you could well imagine it’s like finding a needle in a haystack, but that did not stop this man. He came back after work again to search for it when a Lifeguard came up and and told him to call  »TheRingFinders »

I raced out to the beach that evening to help this young man find his ring. You have to be quick these days because of the price of gold!  It has created somewhat of a gold rush on our beaches now…so many people Metal Detecting every day looking for gold jewellery.

When I arrived, I asked John to square off an area that he wanted me to search, within 10 minutes I found his beautiful ring. He was very happy because his anniversary was coming up this month and he said without it, it just wouldn’t have felt right. I love my job.

My morning started with a phone call from a young man asking my opinion on what I thought the chances were of finding a gold bracelet on a bike path in Stanley Park Vancouver. I have my list of questions and it wasn’t sizing up to be a search I would attempt due to the size of the bike path and the chances of the bracelet landing there where someone easily could spot it.

After hearing a bit more details, he did mention that his wife went up a narrow path which caught my attention and made me come out to take a look because this is where we would have a slim chance of possibly locating it. We needed the bracelet to go off of the main trail onto the side of the path where most people won’t be able to see it.

Asking a few more questions I found out I was looking for a Gold Cartier love bracelet that was for a Canadian Olympic gold medallist who lives here in Vancouver, her name is Madison Mailey she won gold medal in last Olympics in Tokyo for rowing. Her husband I met came 10th in the world at the same Olympics also for rolling. His name is  Maxwell Lattimer. Amazing!!

When I met Matt, he told me the story behind the Gold Cartier bracelet and how it was engraved with  »Olympic Champion »  and that she had purchased that from her podium money they received when they won the gold. A commemorative bracelet, a reminder of the hard work and dedication, something to look at and remember that moment in her life that she won gold for herself her team and her Country.

OK back to the search in my mind the only chance we had is if this brace landed on the side of the path where the path was the narrowest, I told Max that we would walk it first to see if we can eyeball it and then I’d detect on the way back, I wanted to know approximately where she realized it was missing and where she came off her bike looking for it.

We got to the narrow part of the bike path and I just finished saying this is where we’re gonna find it. Max looked down and found the first piece, shortly after I found the second piece. It was a beautiful moment that I’m sure he’ll remember for a long time as will  his wife. I’m so honoured to be a part of this story and reconnecting them with Beautiful car love bracelet and the amazing story attached to it.

I Love My Job!!!

I received a call late last night around 10:45 PM from a young man who said his brother-in-law lost his wedding band and they were devastated. He asked if I could come out right away to help, but unfortunately, Vancouver has their celebration of light fireworks display attracts hundreds of thousands of people and they called right when it ended.

There was no chance I was going to be able to drive to the city to get to that beach so I decided to drive around the city. It only took approximately 40 minutes and I was there meeting the young man and his family and friends.

It turned out to be a pretty big area because they weren’t 100% sure where the rain came off they were playing football and volleyball. I had to start my grid search in two directions north south east west and within 2 1/2 hours I found that beautiful ring.!!! I get just as happy to people who have lost it to see that in my sand scoop. I was able to surprise everybody,  the reactions were priceless. I love my job.!

I received a phone call from a young lady who said she lost two rings, not quite 100% sure exactly where but they did find one Ring where she was wrestling with her little two-year-old son, her five year-old son found the ring beside the stroller. amazing another good Treasure Hunter.!

This sounded like it was going to be a long walk but my first thought was let’s start where they found the first ring. The young lady got me to the area stopped and said this is the area where my son found the first ring I’d look down and pull up the second ring, amazingly. This was just a matter of seconds after we landed in the area where she believed they found the first ring, she said that she walked that area four times with different people looking on the side of the tarmac and on the tarmac. It’s amazing how these little rings can hide so easily. This makes up for the Rolex watch that I spent four hours in freezing cold water searching for. I love my job!

Lost Rolex Watch in Whistler BC…Found!

Lost your Rolex Watch or any Jewelry/Cell Phone/Car Keys… Don’t wait until it’s too late. Call ASAP 24/7  Chris-778-838-3463

I get a call from a young man who told me he lost a very important watch, right away my thought was Rolex.  I was only partially right it was a Rolex but what made it so important was it was a gift from his late grandfather. He told me it was lost in the lake up to his chin in water. He said he knew exactly where it fell in so I felt I was in good shape to go out and hopefully find this but one doesn’t know until they get there and see the conditions.

When I arrive to the lake in Whistler, William showed me where the watch fell into the water. One thing for sure the water was very cold as this was a glacier fed lake and it was cold, but it was a nice day and I was up for the challenge. When I got into the water, the rocks were big and awkward making this a very difficult search because I wouldn’t be able to scoop up the watch, also the water had zero visibility so it would make it very difficult to dive down and find it.

I began my search, got up to my chin in water hanging onto the dock. I was able to stretch my detector out to deeper water and get a signal. Fortunately, there wasn’t many signals in this area so I was confident this was his Rolex watch. I spent four hours in that water, I also found a leech on my arm not to say it was very cold. I started cramping up near the end, but I wasn’t gonna give up easy.

We built a bit of a ramp for me with some bigger rocks, so I could stand there and get leverage to try to scoop the watch out of the area, but it was too difficult with the rocks. I then thought of getting a big stump sticking it in the water very close to where I was getting the signal and have William dive down with my Metal Detector pin pointer as I thought this would be the only chance he’d  have in retrieving his watch. He was all for it because earlier that day somebody came up and asked if you were looking for a Rolex… the word had gotten out and more people knew about his watch and that was frightening for him, as you could imagine.

William brave the water and within 15 minutes came up with the watch in his hand. He didn’t even know until I let out a scream!  I was so excited for him to get that beautiful watch back where it belonged. I love my job!

Lost Ring in Pitt Lake…Found!

Lost your wedding ring or any jewelry/cell phone/car keys… Don’t wait until it’s too late. Call ASAP 24/7  Chris-778-838-3463

I got a call from a young man who told me that his wife had lost her diamond engagement ring in Pitt Lake. He went on to tell me that we would have to kayak to the location, this would be a first for me as I’ve never been in a kayak before, but I’m always up for an adventure. I met Rob he showed me how to use the kayak and he told me he could get me to the location where the ring was lost. We kayak for about 25 minutes across the lake to the spot and when I saw the spot I was in shock. How in the world would be able to get me even close to where the Ring was lost because it was over 200 yards from shore.

Robert assured me he could get me close because he had marked two locations, a side location where there was a stump and a tree growing out of it about 200 yards offshore and 100 yards away from where he believed the ring was, he use that as a side marker and he focussed on a front marker close to shore, which was a log sticking out of the mud.

Talk about a needle in a haystack, we marched out at low tide at this lake and close to 200 yards out we were only waste deep in water, he told me where to look and put two markers down for me, within 30 minutes if you can believe it, I found his wife’s beautiful diamond engagement ring.

This will always remain a shocker to me. I have done so many different types of searches over the years and this one should’ve been impossible. The fact that Rob was so good at marking the location it saved his wife’s ring from forever being lost in this lake. I enjoyed the kayak ride! Who knows what I’ll do next maybe a hot air balloon to the next location lol

I love my job!

I received a text message in regards to a Lost Ring at a beach in Richmond and if I would be able to help. Of course I called right away and discussed the search to get more details. I was informed the ring was lost three days before and that she actually lost two rings and came back the next day and with her nephew and his Metal Detector they were able to locate the wedding band. I think that’s absolutely incredible the young man found the wedding band, I’ve known quite a few clients that had bought or rented metal detectors and spent day searching with no luck and I come in and find it in minutes. A big shout out to the young ladies nephew who came in and found one of the two rings… Well done young man.!!!

I was also informed that the Park Ranger had a Metal Detector and tried finding it for her, but could not locate the engagement ring. Is a matter of fact he sent over a link to my website and said you might wanna call this man shout out to the park Ranger thank you for the plug, much appreciated.

I showed up the young lady showed me the area where her nephew found the wedding band. It took me five minutes to find her beautiful diamond engagement ring. She was very happy to say the least as was I that nobody else had found it before me. I love my job.!!

I got a call from a young lady who said she had lost a custom-made silver ring that was extremely important to her to find. We set up a time to meet and look for it. I showed up and we discussed the search area and it wasn’t very big fortunately, I’ve had quite a few quick recoveries these days that being said it always builds up for the one that takes 45 hours and you do not have success and that just happened to me the other day, you can only find fair to be found!

The young lady and her boyfriend showed me the area, and I began my search when I found the ring and surprise them. I then realized it was not her ring. This was a gift she bought her boyfriend. It was his ring I was looking for, always love my job! I always love helping people and seeing how happy it makes them when I find it..

How to find a Lost Ring at a North Vancouver Beach

I received a text message in regards to my service and how it worked. I replied back and shortly after received a call from the young lady who lost a very important copper ring.  I’ve always said every ring has an amazing story attached to it, and this story was one of them.

I found out this ring was purchased shortly after the young lady almost drowned in Mexico when she got caught in an under toe. After this surviving this near death experience, she went out and bought this custom-made ring in memory of the horrifying event.  I got to hear the story and it’s amazing how lucky this young lady was and I understood the connection she had with this Ring and how important it was to her to find it.

This search took close to three hours, not because she didn’t know where it was lost. She knew the exact  area, but it got caught on a strap of her top and pulled off her finger the fact that the ring was not a connected ring as it had a gap that makes it very difficult for our Detectors to pick up. Could this ring have gotten flung? Sure could have… After more than 2 1/2 hours of searching, I changed Detectors and found it not far from where she was sitting directly under a log. I love my job!!

Found Ring in North Vancouver Park

Lost your Ring/Jewellery/Keys/Cell phone. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Call ASAP Chris 778-838-3463  (24/7 Service)

I got a late text message in regards to a lost diamond ring in a park in North Vancouver. I called right away to get more information, we’ve decided to go out that evening at around 10;30 PM to take a look for her ring, knowing that the sooner we look the better our chances of finding it before someone else does.

After discussing the research at the park and hearing that she put the ring in the cupholder of her chair, picked up the chair and walked away. It was very evident that I would be searching exactly where she picked up her chair, even though she had looked for hours in that location with no success.

The other chance was the Ring may have made it all the way up the path to where she parked her car and that was 100 yards away.

My instincts were right and took me two minutes to find her beautiful diamond engagement ring  hidden out of sight  by the grass… I love my job!
